Over the years I have been through cheating them leaving me with our kid's then losing my other Child's father to Death. At 36 I just listened to this song while my Husband of 6 year's slept beside me touching my leg. this woman was cheated out of her talent by her label... or it seems so. India belongs with the list of musical legends for her depth of soulful expression. Her ability to relay her emotional energy on a track and bring tangibility to something we are otherwise impossible to bear credential to is not fully appreciated.
Her vocals were not always solid on her live performances during her time. She didn't have a strong voice. It killed her even with her quality albums.

I was doing extra work on some show she was performing on and she was INCREDIBLE. Even the crew came out to watch her sing. During a break I told her how much I loved this song (I’m a black haired goth girl) and she said “really?” And then she Freaking HUGGED me. She’s amazing in every single way.
I think us goth girls can relate to passionate music. And I think that is shocking to other people because we are deemed "scary". We are actually very in touch with our emotions and can appreciate when someone expresses it so genuinely. ❤
