    Congratulations! I'm currently a 2nd year DPT student with ADHD and was looking ahead for something like the final frontier. I plan to take the NPTE next April and went to use your code "KRISTENNIC10," but it says it doesn't exist. Planning to register regardless but would always say yes to a coupon haha #brokestudentlife. Figured it out! I used the code in your video, not the description, and it gave me $10 off. Thank you so much! And congrats again!

      @@kristennicolosi Hi! I hope you don't mind me conversing here. I'm feeling a bit anxious. I just finished my practice PEAT and barely passed with a score of 152/200. Scaled 635. I was just wondering what your PEAT scores were and the correlation to your actual NPTE score. Thank you!

      @kristennicolosi  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@slvdrfrncs you got this! I believe on the peats I got a scaled score in the high 600-low 700 range. usually passing the npte is ~135 questions correct so you’re doing great. good luck!

    Hello, good tips!! Just wanted to let everyone know a good strategy for me passing (as Kristen mentions) was I’d take the scorebuilders test and PEATs then go through every question afterward (even if I answer correctly) and read all the rationales and study based on what I felt comfortable or uncomfortable with on those rationales. Cannot recommend this enough. Scorebuilders book helped to reinforce these, good luck everyone!!

    Hi!! It sounds like you took both the Scorebuilders and TherapyEd 2 day courses through your school. I am trying to organize a prep course for my class and was wondering if you have insight on which one you preferred if you only had to go with one? CONGRATULATIONS by the way on passing and graduating!! I love your vlogs so much they add so much light to PT school! I found your channel randomly when searching for ideas for clinic clothes and ended up subscribing and watching ever since!

      thank you so much!🥰💗 personally i like therapyed course better! it went over more actual content and test taking strategies and they gave us a little prep book that actually had a lot of great study material. the scorebuilders one was just a lot of practice questions and how to design a study plan really. hope this helps!!! good luck!

    What did you study before your Final Frontier cohort started? Did you start the readings early from the last cohort? I'm taking the October exam, so I have about 18 weeks but Final Frontier is only 11 weeks so I don't know what to do with the extra time. I've already graduated so I have plenty of free time and I'd like to use the extra time to study and be as productive as possible.

      hi! before the FF cohort started, I went through the Scorebuilders book and the gold/silver/bronze focus topics for each section! i didn’t want to get into any of the FF stuff early because i was worried i would forget things, so i just tried to brush up on bigger topics if that makes sense. i also listened to clincial files podcast & did my question of the day apps. hope this helps and good luck!!💗

    Final frontier offers an audio version of the independent study bundle where you get an audio recording of the lectures instead of a video recording. It’s $150 cheaper. Do you think the videos would be especially helpful, or would listening to the lecture be enough as long as you are an auditory learner?

    What did your day to day look like in terms of studying? Like if there is a day when you have a couple pages of reading but no lecture, what did you do the rest of the day? I am starting at the beginning but am feeling like I am not filling up my hours of studying with just the reading or the lecture if there is one.

    • @kristennicolosi
      @kristennicolosi  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would follow the study plan whether that be the lecture or readings for the day! then I would cross reference with my scorebuilders book to see if there was anything additional to review about the topic the FF content was talking about if that makes sense. hope this helps!

    • @kristennicolosi

      It can be a helpful way to gauge strengths/weaknesses and a starting point! but also FF builds several practices exams into the study outline and says when to take them😊

      hi! I recommend reaching out the the specific state board you are interested in moving to & she the requirements for foreign trained therapists. I believe you will need to take and pass the NPTE. Final Frontier works with a lot of foreign therapists to help them prepare and pass the boards exam so they would be a good resource for you!
