I’m a semi driver and decided to try out hot shot owner op…after expenses and equipment payments I’m pretty making what I was making as a w2 semi driver trying to sell my equipment and get back in the rig
Awesome content my brotha on helping those like me get started hotshot trucking. Thank you😎👊🏾. Definitely taking notes!
Appreciate the comment my brother ✊🏽
Just saw your video. It was dope. Liking and subscribing. Please send me a copy of the document you spoke of at the end of this video. Thanks
Great information for someone looking to hotshot they have a blueprint. Great work
Thank you!
1:52, sent up a drone to film you…running a stop sign!? lol. For real though, I like your videos.
@@981porsche3 I definitely rolled right pass the stop sign 😂
How do i get the documents you are referring to in the video?
Gracias my brother very well done
@@ConradSesma thank you 🙏🏽
Why do you need personal insurance if your going to be under the company’s?
Im doing some research for a project. What are some of the biggest operational headaches you guys deal with daily? Ive heard BOL generation, and sending invoices is a headache.
Anthony great content! I am planning to career transition from corporate America to full time regional Hotshot. I will begin my CDL training via a local trucking company in early October. Did you have any trucking experience when you first started Hotspot? If yes did that make it difficult to lease on? Already subscribed. I like your style. Thanks, Doug
Congratulations man that's exciting im wishing you the best of the luck on your journey 🙏
Yes, i had about 1 year experience driving for a local company before i started my hotshot business. It didn't make the process hard, but easier in my opinion. Thank you for subscribing!
10:17 The securement straps, chains, binders, and etc is there a web site to acquire these things. And should I get a fifth wheel or just go with a regular hitch?
You can go to myteeproducts.com or UScargo
I have a gooseneck setup with the ball installation. Either one will work honestly
Love the video! And the drone footage!! 😮💨 fire!! Loving the consistency 🥰
Thank you ❤️
Hi. Thanks for awesome content.
Where are you based out of?
Where can get some trading on securing loads with a trailer like yours?
Thank you! I’m based out of Detroit MI. I watched TH-cam videos to help me with securement. You can also search around for securement classes because some hotshot dudes host securement classes
What load board do you use or do you have a dispatcher?
I have a dispatcher
@@anthonydterry Who are they and how much are you paying them percentage?
How many dispatchers do you have looking for loads?
Thanks for the info! What company are you leasing on with now, if you’re permitted to share. I’m currently looking.
Thanks!
No problem. I’m leasing with Superior Transportation.
So when u lease on do they find work for you or you do it yourself
They will most likely dispatch for you as well
How many feet should the chains be?
3/8 G70 chains
Quick question boss, I have the same setup as you so how did you go by registering your trailer portion tags?
I’m leased on so the company registered my equipment through there insurance company but I had to get personal insurance for both truck and trailer which allowed me to get plates.
I went to Secretary of State in Michigan
Thanks for this info bro..Is the still good leasing on with a company? Also what's the percentage for them?
Leasing on can be a good route to go. The first company I was with that I left was 30%
Average percentage when leasing on is 20%
@@anthonydterry Already bro, thanks for the info fam💯
Can I get a copy of the document please.
Yes. What’s your email?
Hope they taking notes 📝
