nopehead It's Kaufman your absolutely right! The camera set up was to make you think it wasn't Andy playing Clifton on TV but the Audience knew Kaufman was on stage. Bob's voice is more harsh and Andy's voice was more of a East Coast style Cabaret Singer being Tony Clifton of course. Check out Bob now doing Tony Clifton. Not just the Clifton stuff…look up any interview of people who were honest about what it was like to work with him. He wasn't crazy, just obnoxious.
