I'm 60 with arthritis in every joint . I love to see someone like Jen living her life to the fullest as she can, with a partner who is so loving and supportive. I love seeing her with Jacob enjoying fun things. I know it's hard, but please keep showing up. Take care of yourself, but don't give up. It gives all of us out there so much happiness to see you. overcoming overcoming
My dear Jen, please relax and let those injections do their job!! I'm a nurse and can tell you that in order for those injections to really work, you must give them a good 48 hours to do the job. I hope you're feeling better because we love you on this channel and your channel, too!!! So stay well and thank you for all the joy you bring to us!
Prayers Jen, take it easy sweetie
Thanks for stopping by
Jenn saved your life !!! Yaaaay Jenn !!! , glad you got your meds Jacob !!!!
Hi Jacob and Jennifer 🙋🏽.
Magnolia petroleum of Dallas first created and used Pegasus in 1911. However, in 1953, they merged with Mobil, who took over the Pegasus logo.
Loved your reflection on Nathan Bedford Forrest
Jen hope you feel better knee pain is bad.
Greetings from Maine. Blessings. Safe travels.
I love the Parthenon. We used to go there every time we went to Nashville.
Good Morning Jen .. !!!
Yay!!! JENN! ❤..Get a red wagon and take her with you to Memphis! She and Bucee can ride around:)
In my town! Welcome to Nash-Vegas Jacob.
Jacob, I hope you enjoyed Nashville.I am from TN. I grew up in Nashville and have been to the Parthenon, but never been to the TN History Museum.
I think it is important that we preserve the good and bad of history. I think it’s also important that we remember history in context.
As someone who has ancestors who fought for the Confederate army and were in the KKK, I think a lot of these people were not necessarily bad people overall, but fighting change out of ignorance. It was a different world back then. No excuses for the bad actions they did, but I think it’s just human nature.
I am glad that we learned from history overall and live in a country that at least works and allows making things better.
We need to preserve history and report it as accurately as possible with no agendas involved.
As always, I appreciate your channel and the awesome content! Looking forward to this trip.
Athens and Athena are big symbols in my town. I would love it if we had that huge statue of Athena in front of our courthouse. 😆
She is good to you.
Really enjoyed today's video. It was great to see Jen come to the rescue. Next time you go to Disney with Jen consider renting a mobility scooter. It's something I did and was able to make it through all the parks. I can walk that's not the problem. I just have fatigue and like Jen bad knees. I hope to see you and Jen go down to Disney again.
The Parthenon is a very facinating place to go to and the park is really great!! Glad your back in my hometown.
Dang! That's impressive!
PETITION TO PAINT THE TN PARTHENON!
I love the Parthenon! I remember the first time I saw Athena when I first moved here. This was before she was covered in gold leaf, and she was gleaming white. She took my breath away…so beautiful and so big!!❤️🤗🐝
Carpetbagger this place is amazing. Thanks for taking us there.
That statue of Athena reminds me of the statue of Hera in JASON AND THE ARGONAUTS.
Jacob...great video. Jen you are amazing. So nice how you take care of each other.
This makes me want to visit Nashville. Poor Jenn. I’m glad the injections are helping. Key West is the best. So relaxing.
So glad you went here. The one time I went to Nashville, we walked around the building but that was all the time we had. I so wanted to go inside. Thank you
Jacob and Jenn are the best partners for each other❤️So lovely:)
Thank you for saying how awful the indigenous people and slaves were treated. The awful people that terrorized them. Really enjoyed this episode.
Mobile is the gas station ⛽️ company.
* Texaco is more famous but In 1934, an 11-foot red Pegasus appeared on top of Dallas first skyscraper, the Magnolia Building in downtown Dallas. This Pegasus was built by local sign maker Texlite for the Magnolia Oil Company and featured two mirror images of neon red horses on either side of a structure that rotated, allowing the creature to be seen from all directions.
❤Wow. I'm heading there Monday!
Thank-you, Jacob! Had been wanting to see the Nashville Parthenon for some time. Did not know about their other museum.
You and Jen are awesome together
Thank you so much for traveling to all of these places for everyone to enjoy Jacob. I hope Jen gets plenty of rest and feels better soon. Safe travels to you both.
Thanks so much for the tour of the Parthenon. I had no idea there was an art museum under. Great stuff!
Jen saves the trip! 😊 Safe travels to both of you.
Wow! I love this so much. The colored parthanon puzzle was a highlight
i love to go to nashville just for a little while in a year or so
but love the museum.
Awesome museums. Jen, hope you get better. My mom had both her knees replaced in the span of 4 years. This was... 8 years ago. It's a looooong road of painful, but necessary, therapy afterwards. But it is totally worth it. I would love to see tht replica of the Parthenon. As a nerd for history... omg.
Hey, ROSEBUD, Have a fantastic day jacob.
♥️
Impressive Parthanon😊 cool museum
Great choice and tour of the Parthenon, I had no idea something like that was in Nashville! I love Tennessee and any videos showing what it's like are my favorite! Good job and thank you! The museum was great too!
Wow!! I never knew there was a Parthenon in Nashville. Cool! Thanks! 😃
The architecture of the Parthenon is astounding 😊
I have another recommendation if you go to Opry Mills mall they have a really nice Wax Museum, and you could eat a nice meal at the Restaurant The Aquarium. There is a beautiful aquarium full of fish surrounding the eating areas. Real nice experience. All at the same mall. Or if you go to the main street BB kings is Awesome!
Thank you for sharing this great video! It made me so happy to hear you say “rosebud” when you showed us the little Parthenon snow globe. Also, I hope Jen’s knees feel better soon.
I have arthritis in my left knee, but also Fibromyalgia, cos and me, so lucky lol. I swear when you showed your bags in the back of the car your meds were in the side pocket of your backpack.
A movie about the Sultana would be awesome!!
Good morning Jacob glad to see this, love your museum video, there my favorite. You take care my friend.🤓📸👍
The name of the gas station with the Pegasus is Sinclair.
We did this when we traveled through last year and it was so weird and awesome. Nashville is amazing.
Hi both, I am so pleased now I have fully caught up with all Jacob's vlogs. I have yours Jenn to catch up on I will move onto that next.. I hope you knee's will soon feel much better.. Great to see we are back visiting great Museum's. The Parthenon is amazing I'm pleased you visited it.. All the best to you both for now. Marie XXXX
Another awesome video as always Jacob and Jenn is your hero for sure and safe travels to you and her.
41:00 to Jen, I have arthritis. The last time I went to WDW, I rented a scooter. I would not have enjoyed myself without it. Autoimmune stuff sucks!
Welcome to my hometown. :) Fun fact... Did you know that Nashville is known as the Athens of the south?
The old Pegasus is from an ExxonMobil gas station
The Sultana was no joke. Hundreds of captured Union Soldiers were finally on their way home, and the Captain of the Steamboat had overloaded it with Soldiers to maximize his payout and hadn't allowed proper maintenance on her boilers. So, when she exploded, hundreds of already sick and tired men who were hoping to get home after years of captivity in horrible conditions were killed at the finish line because of one mans greed.
Parthenon is so impressive, great merchandise too, i would have gone T shirt crazy. Great work Jacob. Well done Jen saving our Carpetbagger
I can relate jen. My cort shot only lasted 3 days then the pain came back. Looking into gel now!
Very interesting video jacob
Hi! You guys are literally 15 miles from my home!!! Glad you enjoyed Nash Vegas. Maybe one of these days I'll be downtown and say hello 👋 You always make my day!!
Wild Jacob that statue was hudge
Mobil oil used the Pegasus in their sign.
More historical information 😊
Thankyou for the tour ! I have never seen it sp close and never seen inside and I'm 68 years old. Interesting.
This was so enjoyable. I remember visiting the Parthenon in the late fifties when I was a child. Nashville is such an amazing city. Here's hoping Jenn feels better soon.
jen is a saint for driving out there to being you your medication! always love seeing her in your videos, knee injections or otherwise. hope she can rest her knees and that the rest of the trip goes smoothly- really enjoying it so far! ❤
Hi Jen. Be safe guys.
Solid They Might Be Giants reference 👍🏼
Mobil is the gas station that used the Pegasus.
Oh, this is such a good video. I love museums so much history. Thank you for sharing this.
Hello Jacob and Jenn! I just wanted to comment on Jenn's knee trouble I have had several injections but the one thing that really helped was Prayers of healing No more injections needed No more pain Praise God!
Be safe on the highway J . Loved this video. Nashville is a fun place to visit. Oddly, Andrew Jackson and his wife Rachel adopted a young Indian boy who survived in a clash when his tribe attacked a US Military regiment. The young man died in Nashville at the age of 18 where he worked and lived and persuaded Jackson and Rachel to send him to blacksmith training as he was a great equestrian. I''ve never heard what killed him but likely a sickness. The expansion of the United States was not kind.
The Parthenon was a cool mix of a roadside attraction and an art museum, sort of like Boyette's Citrus Attraction lol
I got both of my knees replaced. Best thing I could have done. You should get them done Jenn
I have been to that Parthenon and it is very cool to visit
Wish I had known this was there when I visited Tennessee however, I'm opting to see the real one. The beauty of it is that it is still standing after all these years and whatever state that it's standing in. Kind of reminds me of Me as I age L O L.
Thanks for sharing this. If I ever get back to Tennessee I'll make sure to stop by and check this out.
Nice museum's! I never knew that Nike was an angel ^^" oh my mum also got a new knee and she's very good with it ^^"I hope Jen will be OK and will find her way to some new fresh knees in the future ❤
I like what u said about overcoming our past, Jacob. You don't have to like it but it's our reality and brought us to where we are now
I grew up around Nashville and I LOVED coming here as often as I could.
Fantastic!! Yes, most sculpture and buildings had bright colors back then, all worn off.
I can totally understand and empathize about Jen's knees. I've had both miniscus in both knees repaired/reattached since September. Please give the injections time to work. I get corticosteroid injections, lidocaine injections and take Tylenol 3 with codeine to deal with mine. God bless you both and I always look forward to the awesome videos and positive vibes 😊
Very interesting!
Hi Jacob the carpetbagger I like your channel and content
I went to see the Acropolis-Parthenon in Athens, back in 2018. That place is so breathtaking, and sad, seeing how it is now. The museum across the street from it in Greece is awesome. Loads of statues and statuettes from the Acropolis.
The red pegasus was used on the logo for Mobil gas stations.
THECARPETBAGGER🚗💨💨💨💨
LOVE YOU JENN ❤❤😊
I remember the Pegasus used for the Flying A gas station
Actually quite impressed with The Parthenon in Nashville?? The statue of Athena sent chills down my spine.
Good Morning Jacob .. !!
You make the best videos on TH-cam. I see and learn so much from them. Thank you and God bless.
Nashville home of country music and Nashville hot chicken
Wooooo! Just in time for me to watch
The painted version of the building you showed reminded me a lot of The Corn Palace.
James K. Polk was born in North Carolina. 😊 Pineville NC right outside of Charlotte in Mecklenburg county.
No, we did not all see the Barbie movie😂
Oh Jenny I have any issues I’m gonna get a total knee replacement in June so I do understand and I’ve had those Cortizone shots and even though they might work but they work on a temporary basis and they don’t last long at all so I do understand what you’re going through because walking is a chore nowadays but in between time thank you for sharing you take care and enjoy your visit. Be safe.❤🤠
the original Parthenon is a miracle and the Nashville Parthenon is a masterpiece. Jenn is such an unsung hero . Get well soon Jenn and safe travel for both of you ☺
I REALLY love this video! Thank you Jacob! 😊💜 💜 💜 I have been to Nashville, and I loved it, but I didn't get to do, Everything that I wanted to do, not enough time to do everything. I wanted to see the Parthenon but didn't get to. So, I thank you for showing us the Parthenon! 💜 So Amazing! 😊💜 I always learn something when watching your vlog! Especially, when you stop at Museums! Big or small, I love museums! So many interesting things to see, and learn about! I am also glad that Jenn made it out, to you, safely, especially with her new knees injections! Ouch! ((Hugs)) and love for quick healing for Jenn's knees.
I always look forward to your videos! I love to travel but cannot as much do to kids and money lol. So in a way I get to travel through your videos!
Really appreciate Jacob’s daily blogs, especially on a day like this when it’s -35 here in Alberta and it makes me feel a tiny bit warmer seeing someone from a much warmer location! The Parthenon was very interesting.
