Unfortunately, I've had to mute the segment "Adagio e Piano" from "Summer" (15:52 - 17:57) due to copyright issues. My apologies.
Thank you
its fine its normally the fast sections i like i can just skip it
Será q o vivaldi pediu copyright? Ksksks

@ probably its about the recording, not the melody
It's amazing how simple this piece is, yet it still is amazing.
Are you a Violinist, or a Pianists?
@@farrelpermadi5471 pianist, speaking from an analytical standpoint not technical
@@KarMa-lx6oq because you say it is simple, usually for pianist it is yet simple, unlike Violinist, sorry
@@farrelpermadi5471 dw 👍 I am well aware of the difficulty in this piece for actual performance.
@@farrelpermadi5471 I agree my fingers hate me because of those high notes

words can't explain how is this music amazing
Yeah
@David Juárez maybe this, but not the apex of music/humanity

This recording was calmer, more musical, and so far the most beautiful I've listened to.

Wow thank you that’s a lot of effort!
lingling could sightread the whole piece while playing the whole orchestra
Hehehe true
twosetters rise up
You should see some of Vivaldi’s way more advanced pieces in his last 5 years. They sound nothing like this
the amount of harmony between the players, and i mean like how they get along together, in this piece is amazing, shown amazingly in la primavera
Thanks to TwoSet and Marcel for making me get into classical music
Ayeeeeeeee up top ✋😂
who is marcel and can you send me a link to his channel?

is literally no one thankful for the time stamps near the bottom of the video screen? Like it is amazing!
They're super convenient so I put them in all of my videos!
When I was in 2nd grade, the Principal played "Spring" on the primary school intercom EVERY SINGLE MORNING from when the classrooms opened up to until the morning announcements were made. For that reason whenever I hear it now, I am simultaneously very nostalgic and also very annoyed 😂
I feel incredibly lucky to be able to understand most of the phrases written over the music lines. It helps a lot to get the atmosphere Vivaldi was trying to create
Yeah! i can understand some of those. They kind of make this opus like a sound track
I wish the harpsichord/piano came through clearer on the second movement of Autumn. I can really evoke a rainstorm and gives the continuo a place to shine.
I think it sounds better on an Amplified Piano.
I was looking for this comment, I thought it wasn’t playing in some sections it was so quiet

🌟 Classical music is a testament to the beauty of human creativity. It's a gift that continues to resonate through generations. 🎶✨🎼
This masterpiece is embodying the aesthetics of Vivaldi , and the appearance of nature
This is the type of music that endures through the ages
La primavera is honestly perfect, even to this day, it’s absolutely beautiful
All of them are perfect and beautiful till date. And will be forever.
I've now also uploaded a piano solo arrangement of The Four Seasons by Justin Bird! Check it out here: th-cam.com/video/2uau6I4yc1M/w-d-xo.html
The adagio of Summer is flawless here 👌
Amazing your work, please keep uploading this pieces with their scores
I only understood how to appreciate music because of this piece. Primavera is amazing
You just have to love this. I have had composition/orchestration students, and this is one of the first scores I show to them, along with the Pachelbel Canon (and, later, George Rochberg's brilliant variation set based on it in his Third String Quartet) and the Giazotto-Albinoni Adagio. Great bread-and-butter string writing!
that bassist is bored, for sure

Thank you for this video! It was very interesting, well surprising even to learn how the notes for violin concerts look like. Quite different from piano or organ. I never thought about it. Many many thanks again!
Great timing on the page turning!!!!! allows for a great read.
Love the Baroque sound.

Thank you so much! This channel is wonderful!
This is so ahead of his time, heck even fitting in this age
I woulnd't say its ahead of it's time, I'd say it is timeless.
THANK YOU for showing the sheet music. You are very nice. And thanks for uploading this video.😃
Muito bom sensacional... deu até vontade estudar.
Beautiful harmony, though simple, still is one of the most beautiful
Simplesmente incrivel, isso sim é musica
i agree
Did you notice that at bar 93 the violas play F# and not B as it written?
Why and what is the original version.
Somebody can ols tell me more about it?
This makes me nostalgic for the cartoons I've watched that played this in the background
**me, a 6th year violinist, chewing the end of a pencil, staring intensely at the music wondering how I'm going to learn this music**
Practice, duh
practice 40 hours a day otherwise you won't reach to lingling

LETS GOOO I LEARNED IT 😈‼️
"This looks easy" *sees random triple stop in summer* "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!"
Springtime is upon us
The birds celebrate her return with festive song
And murmuring streams are softly caressed by the breezes
Thunder and lightning, those heralds of Spring, come
Casting their black mantle over heaven
Then they die away to silence
And so the birds take up their charming songs once again
On the flower-strewn meadow, the tree's leafy branches rustling gently overhead
The shepherd sleeps with his faithful dog beside him
Led by the festive sound of rustic bagpipes
Nymphs and shepherds lightly dance
Beneath the joyful jumpy brilliant canopy of spring
I've come to start bracing myself after each movement ends because I've begun expecting people to start clapping between movements
In this version, who are the performer of the second moviment of Summer? Maybe John Cage's disciples?
I watched the entire video, and let me tell you, it paid off.

The Double Bass can play the Cello part as the more advanced Bass Part, & 5ths Tuning for Double Bass ought to facilitate that. I find 5ths Tuning ideal for playing music that was originally not written for Double Bass such as Vivaldi's 4 Seasons (Solo Violin Part) down 2 Octaves.
A 5 String Upright Bass w/ a Low B might also work
Is Vivaldi the Baroque Paganini and Kreisler the 20th century Paganini?
26:22 reminded for me
38:35 also reminder for me
The way that they wrote the key signature on the viola part makes me want to die

How do I get the full score?
Try out IMSLP
The performance differences from the score at 9:33 (bar 197), where the soloist plays a D natural the after the high E. Also at 9:40 (bar 200) the soloist plays a C# and D# (where as they show natural on the score). I'm learning this on guitar. I would like to compare this to other performances to see whether the score is wrong, whether the soloist took liberty with the score deliberately, or whether they are mistakes?
small stuff like that normally isnt an artistic liberty unless you know the soloist is good enough to not do that. like hilary hahn doesnt make mistakes. if you think those changes sound better tho that’s on you,. most changes in the score come from either additions, like ornaments, or changes in volume/tempo. Most performers dont delete stuff from the score.
@@jackagnell4781 Hi Jack, thanks for taking the time to respond. It's quite showing as a guitarist to learn this and discover just how impossible perfect intonation is on a violin. Even the very best (Hilary Hahn included) are often half way in between the notes on a guitar (which itself doesn't have perfect intonation). If anything it increases my appreciation for Classical Violin. What an incredibly expressive instrument, that is basically impossible to play perfectly. Peace
@@James1Hiscox it's common for violinists to diverge from even temperament especially during solo parts. the same notes played on a fixed-fret guitar would then be different pitches (but neither are technically incorrect). For example on a violin you have the liberty to play thirds as a 5/4 ratio rather than the third root of 2, which can create a more pleasing sound.
@@Jerryfan271 Hi Jerryfan271, thanks for the thoughtful response; that was exactly what I was looking for. Yes, it goes to show how much more is involved in playing something without frets compared to a fretted instrument. I remember when I was first introduced to the concept of temperament; it's not something that we guitarists think about much until we go into classical music. Peace
If anyone wants to hear the Adagio e Piano that was cut, the audio recording of the exact same recording is at this link.
