Back in 2006, my parents bought a 2nd rabbit to give the other one we had some company. At the time we were lead to believe we got another girl. Turns our Rabbit #2 was a boy. A few weeks later on Boxing Day that year, my mum went out to feed them and discovered a nest filled with baby rabbits. Was one hell of a surprise, but a welcoming one to experience once they were big and old enough to start hopping around by themselves.
Man, human babies are lucky to instantly see the moment they're born. Imagine how frustrating that would be to have to wait 7 to 10 days until you can open your eyes!
Human babies don't instantly see when there born it takes a couple days to open there eyes most of them and they don't see color right away either it takes a couple months
As a human father, I'd rather my baby couldn't see for a week and be able to walk two weeks later. Their eyes are (hopefully) closed for most of those 7-10 days anyway!
Humans are incapable of focusing the lens in the eyes until more than a month goes by, so babies are basically born blind and can see very blurry shapes and shadows at best for the first few weeks of life.
I've loved having a bunny. I've had mine for almost twelve years now and he's the cutest thing in the world! He still has just as much energy as he did when I first got him

Its really funny to watch when rabbits will just stretch like that. They become fuzzy noodles. Tho they do that because they're pray animals and checking something out in a way they can quickly retreat. Rabbits don't have good vision directly in front of them, so they kind of creep forward like that to test the waters
