Can we take a moment to appreciate how awesome Rise is? When other party members want to summon their personas, they have to physically break cards, by kicking, shooting, smacking with a fan, smacking with a chair, etc. Rise just just breaks cards with...the power of her mind? And she doesn't even need to break cards anyway; she can instantly materialize her persona out of nothing. And what kind of godly powers does Rise have that allow her to revive the MC? Sure, some party members have recarm or whatever, but that's their persona. Rise literally materializes out of thin air to revive the MC without her persona being anywhere in sight.

Eali Fey actually i counted it (im confused why you put 50 and 100...) since she gets 2 turns for every one of your turns on her 5th and 6th turn she uses mind charge/megidoloan or power charge/ that other move cause i forgot what its called. but that was later in the fight so earlier it might be different since i didnt start timing earlier.
After watching lots of Persona Q: SoTL videos, I watch this now and the way the characters, specially Margaret here, are... drawn here, it's just gorgeus.
Hopefully Futaba becomes more useful in the remake, although she's my favorite persona girl I'll admit Rise was more useful. Her ability to give me one free revival if I die in battle saved my ass.
I really hate Rise but damn she is the only navi who is not useless is like Fuuka is 100% useless and Futaba is meh but damn she is vital anyways i like more Fuuka
Well, Futaba can now use some sort of Salvation, her all-out Attack do not increase damage like Rise's and can now debuff enemies, but yeah Rise is a better navigator
God the old Margaret voice was WORLDS better. Hate so much that they fucking changed it in Q and Arena Ultimax. Atlus really loves changing VA's up. At least Chie was better fitting in every game she showed up in after the original than the original (in my opinion), Teddie's new one sounded exactly the same, and Matthew Mercer as Kanji also sounds exactly the same thank god. Naoto and Margaret however don't share this same fate. Naoto's voice was changed yet again, and it's just not the same. I feel like if they were able to get the same VA back for new scenes in Golden, then they could've gotten her back for Q and Arena Ultimax. Overall Margaret was SO much more expressive, even during her serious moments considered monotone. Especially considering that the new voice actor has had NO prior experience in voice acting. :/

Sorry for the late answer, but she has this mecanic, but only for items that gives resistances. You can just create personas that have every absorb skill. It's the same thing with the others game's secret bosses. Only elizabeth in FES was stricter and did the whole "no bs or i'll megido you to death" though.
Watching this 30 minute fight kind of proves to me how stupid the optional bosses in Persona are. Margaret might be the best since she doesn't just OHKO if you resist everything like Elizabeth does, but why on earth would she continue using spells that heal you instead of just casting Megidoloan or Morningstar nonstop? That would obviously be unwinnable from a game play perspective, but it sort of goes to show that Atlus doesn't really know how to make these fights interesting since it just comes down to whether or not the boss chooses to kill you when they obviously could at any time.
Theory: The Persona Series Ends with all of the protagonists (The "Fools") coming together at Elizabeth's behest to resurrect Minato and bringing the smackdown upon Nyx but for real this time.

The female protagonist is not canon (as much as I would like for it to be), but the P3P also includes the male protagonist's route. It's very likely for Margaret to be a secret boss in the male protagonist's route.
So, is there any particular trigger for Margaret's use of the 9999 Megidolaon? Because it seemed pretty random to me. 13:34 and 23:46 are the parts where she used Oberon's Megidolaon.
They really dropped the difficulty on the Secret Boss of Persona. I can't blame them, Elizabeth was pretty much a matter of doing your homework and 10 hour griding to fight her, and not fuck up your math.
did they rename some of her attacks from the original? I could have sworn those attack were called Narukami and Divine Wind in the PS2 version, whereas here it's Jihad and Divine Vacuum.
Did he mess with his save file? Debilitate is not inheiritable, it could be done by chance with skill change, but otherwise there seems to be no fusion forecast day with the chance of fusing Izanagi no okami with the opportunity to get the skill debilitate, so unless there is another reason, he hacked izanagi no okami's skills. Unless you sacrificed a trumpeter to get the skill card. The vanilla game does not have that function.
yes, since Persona 3 had preporations on the level of Homura's from Madoca Magica along with needing a shit tone of luck to make liz get hit by her own attakc on her last turn before yours, and you can't repel/null/drain anything she throws at you expect the counter skills with goes from 5-20% chance
Did they like, add extra lines of dialogue too far apart and the actress couldn't quite match her previous performance? or did her VA change between PS2 & Vita and the new person was trying to match the previous actress?
It doesn't help that the voice actress overall was... not good. In the original P4 she sounds shaky for like 2/3 of the game before she finds her groove.
Elizabeth is better than Margaret... Elizaneth- 9999 Megidolaon in your face and your dead Margaret- still use the same attack/skill even the protag just absorb it.
ChrisDoesStuff you can't absorb Margaret's 9999 megidoloan either. it insta-kills you no matter what. Difference here being that you have enduring soul and Rise to revive you when you do die.
The only problem with this video is that the Persona movesets wasn't shown, or if it is, it was too darn fast. If only the persona movesets were shown how to defeat Margaret.
Izanagi-no-okami, Izanagi, Yoshitsune, Megatsu-Izanagi. everyone has all absorb abilities and repell physic and he pretty much spams Yoshtisune's Hatsou Tobi, debuffs her with Izanagi-no-okami. Whenever she readies her Mind charge -> Megidolan combo, he switches to Izanagi-No-Okami and guards with him since it is pretty easy to have all stats on 99 with him so he allows you to take the least damage.
And he power charges with Megatsu-Izanagi. Another important skill is master of arms on yoshitsune, which halves the damage you take from using physical skills.

Sorry for the late answer, but she has this mecanic, but only for items that gives resistances. You can just create personas that have every absorb skill. It's the same thing with the others game's secret bosses. Only elizabeth in FES was stricter and did the whole "no bs or i'll megido you to death" though.

Watching this 30 minute fight kind of proves to me how stupid the optional bosses in Persona are. Margaret might be the best since she doesn't just OHKO if you resist everything like Elizabeth does, but why on earth would she continue using spells that heal you instead of just casting Megidoloan or Morningstar nonstop? That would obviously be unwinnable from a game play perspective, but it sort of goes to show that Atlus doesn't really know how to make these fights interesting since it just comes down to whether or not the boss chooses to kill you when they obviously could at any time.

The female protagonist is not canon (as much as I would like for it to be), but the P3P also includes the male protagonist's route. It's very likely for Margaret to be a secret boss in the male protagonist's route.

Debilitate is not inheiritable, it could be done by chance with skill change, but otherwise there seems to be no fusion forecast day with the chance of fusing Izanagi no okami with the opportunity to get the skill debilitate, so unless there is another reason, he hacked izanagi no okami's skills. Unless you sacrificed a trumpeter to get the skill card. The vanilla game does not have that function.
Imagine if in a NG+ where you lose against Izanami and Margaret steps in if you win this battle

yes, since Persona 3 had preporations on the level of Homura's from Madoca Magica along with needing a shit tone of luck to make liz get hit by her own attakc on her last turn before yours, and you can't repel/null/drain anything she throws at you expect the counter skills with goes from 5-20% chance

yeah, they added new lines, and yes, it is the same VA. Like you said, she just couldn't get her voice right.
It doesn't help that the voice actress overall was... not good. In the original P4 she sounds shaky for like 2/3 of the game before she finds her groove.

The only problem with this video is that the Persona movesets wasn't shown, or if it is, it was too darn fast. If only the persona movesets were shown how to defeat Margaret.
Izanagi-no-okami, Izanagi, Yoshitsune, Megatsu-Izanagi. everyone has all absorb abilities and repell physic and he pretty much spams Yoshtisune's Hatsou Tobi, debuffs her with Izanagi-no-okami. Whenever she readies her Mind charge -> Megidolan combo, he switches to Izanagi-No-Okami and guards with him since it is pretty easy to have all stats on 99 with him so he allows you to take the least damage.
And he power charges with Megatsu-Izanagi. Another important skill is master of arms on yoshitsune, which halves the damage you take from using physical skills.
