“Not the fire that’s burning inside you” 😂😂
It's actually the first one. I've always struggled with cleaning sticky gel bottles. Ugh!
I liked the plastic cup with a hole in the top - i think it could be useful for quite a few things.
Another great video!! Gel is really just UV resin and you use heat on resin to get rid of bubbles. It doesn't have to be a flame because it's the heat that is the key. I make miniatures from resin (think dollhouse) and to pop bubbles I use a proper straw ( eg: plastic haha) and blow down it, the heat of my breath pops the bubbles. You can also use a heat gun, or a gas torch ( even the one you use to light your gas stove) or a cig lighter. Don't hold it in one spot sort of swing it back and forth over the surface of the gel. Or, get a USB powered coffee cup warmer and put the gel pot on it for a while - as it heats up the bubbles will rise and disappear.
I use my husbands mug warmer for my gels to get rid of bubbles 😂 I'm glad I'm not the only one!
The blow drier works too😊
Anastasia was definitely a cat in another life. You know my curiosity is stronger than my desire to remain safe. 😂❤
To get rid of bubbles, I'd probably try a heating pad underneath the pot. I was thinking, "What about the ash", then you said it!!😅
1st one looks so awesome!!
I've used the screen one I just traced the item with thin paper vs paint it on. Especially trying to do a mermaid tail!😅 I'd resize the screen to the tip size to make sure it would fit. I never did do the rest lol😅
Agree, heating pad is much easier to use !
@@Nailcoumug warmer! It's flat and small and does the trick! That's why I use lol I steel my husbands all the time 😂
The bubbles in your gel! I've struggled with this, I use my husbands mug warmer for that lol and it's way safer! 😂 It may take a couple minutes longer but it'll definitely say it's safe and it WORKS! 😅 Thank you for risking your life for us, Anastasia! 😂 We love you!
2:14 - 🤣 .. The stencil idea and the glitter strip idea are good ones, especially when it comes to nail art using the non-dominant hand.
What a great video!! And can I just say that you are so amazingly talented, clearly very intelligent, such a charismatic speaker, and you are just plain gorgeous! You are a gift to the nail world!! ❤
Ich finde den Nail-tip mit dem „Freihand“ malen am Besten. Die Idee eine Folie auf das Tablett oder Handy zu legen und dann das Motiv anzumalen ist genial! Danke für die Tips und deine Videos!
Glad you enjoy them!
Heating gun works fabulous with bubbles. My boys have one and it's fantastic at getting rid of bubbles👍. It'll also go so they way through the gel, not just the top 👌
Great video🥳
My favorite was the plastic cup being used to balance the bottle. I will definitely use that!
This hack would also be good for combining hand soaps!
I liked the stencil hack! What immediately came to mind was a very thin crescent 🌙 moon for Halloween.
10:54 Use a spray bottle filled with rubbing alcohol to spray the bubbles. This will pop your bubbles and not light your stuff on fire, the higher the percentage the less water is in it, the better. This technique is used in resin epoxy crafting, which is basically what nail gel products are made of. ❤
I guess you can put tape on the holes to prevent them from leaking. Or use hot glue to temporarily seal them. My gel also comes with an additional lid inside but I think it can still leak even with that on. But I'm wondering if I can put the entire thing inside the lamp to clean it first. Not just the lid but the sides are covered in gel. And I'm low on my favourite acetone free remover which can get through glue lids and uncured gel like no other.
Lol instead of the 🔥for getting rid of the bubbles I think I'll just stick to spraying a little alcohol like you showed forever ago 😅 I've tried the alcohol one and it works really well! And for the hand painted art, you can buy pages that are laminated and specifically made to paint on top of, cure, then peel off to apply on nails. I have some and they work great!
Or you can print them and laminate them so you can practice
@@Mtz2604 you definitely could!
I've used a long-neck lighter to pop bubbles in crafting and nail UV resin for years, it works great! Gel polish is basically the same thing as crafting UV resin except it's softer. That's a commonly used method by many for popping resin surface bubbles, a spritz of high percentage rubbing alcohol also works well. I use a lot of gel polish in crafting. :)
That last one, with fire...
That person obviously plays with resin, fire pops bubbles on the top of poured resin in molds.
Just FYI
Using fire is how bubbles are removed from resin when making table tops etc. Never thought of doing that for gels!
Oh wow, good to know !
Um, yeah no fire. When I got my nails done, my nail tech was trying to figure out what she should do. I suggested using one of those candle warmers, doesn't get hot but warm enough to keep the the gel thinner and no bubbles. It worked really well for her.
This is SUCH a fun video! I can't choose my favourite hack but honestly I'm tempted by the fire HAHA
Oh no, please be careful 😄
I will definitely transfer my black gel polish into a gel pot. Thank you. 😇
I will try the hand painting hack. Thank you
Please do!
You're amazing😊❤
These are great hacks! 💜
The fire one is so dangerous, I won't even light candles in my nail room even if they're far away
💯
Great video. ❤❤❤
Thank you! 🤗
Pretty cool video!
Yay! Nail hacks!!
For monomer, why dont manufacturers put a pouring cap on with a lift up lid? Like a small hole to squirt through, similar to some cleaning products' caps
Some of them have it, like hand& nail harmony . But it still spills sometimes for some reason
If you are going to use heat to get rid of bubbles in your gel, just use the lighter, don't burn an orange wood stick
Yeah, that's what I thought but decided to fully recreate the hack is shown in the original video 😅
Maybe you can use a blow dryer instead of the matches.
"do you even know how much it costs?!!" 🤣🤣💀
That’s exactly how I said it when one of my colleagues tried to pour it like that and spilled a good amount on the floor 😖
@@Nailcou so relatable! 💯
There are two separate TH-cam videos showing (2) young girls who had lit candles burning while they were doing their nails. When the acetone has fumes in the air it can suddenly explode with fire. These are two different people at two different times and places that were seriously burned and needed skin grafting and had serious scars from their burns. So, I would suggest not mentioning using any fire around any nail products because girls as young as 14 are doing their own nails and don’t have enough experience or just don’t know or even adults using nail products that it just didn’t occur to them that acetone fumes can cause explosions and fire damage to homes in addition to the burn victims. So, educate your audience about these issues if you are going to mention using any kind of fire near or around nail products. I’m not trying to be rude or anything like that, I love your videos. But we need to get the word out about this. I burn candles in my home and I do my nails. Luckily, I didn’t do them both together. So, I’m just asking nail content creators who have mentioned fire in their videos help bring awareness to this danger so no one gets hurt or has great damage to their family’s home.❤️🔥😱👩🏼🚒
Exactly ! I also know about few accidents with acetone and microwave / fire , so it’s not a joke ! I hope I gave enough precautions before showing this nailhack, because there’s potential danger in it for sure
@@Nailcou Thank you for sharing this dangerous situation that could so easily cause pain, suffering, scarring, emotional and physical, and loss of home and even loss of family.
Us a long neck lighter for the last hack🙂
To transport the gels with holes in them, use a piece of tape to cover the gels that you have had to drill holes in.
🤯🤯🤯👏👏👏🫶🫶🫶🫶
The cheap Asian nailsalons here use fire on gel. That’s why I don’t go there.
They are not working hygienic and do weird stuff with their products brr
