Yes, it definitely has a different look now. Although they didn't use the interiors for filming, you can see pics on Realtor.com and it's really beautiful! Thanks for watching our video Greg!
Guys, I’ve just binged the playlist. It’s nothing short of a miracle that you achieved with this series. Hats off to you! 🤠Honestly, the best series I’ve ever watched on youtube. 🙂 I can’t be grateful enough to you for bringing back a piece of my childhood. Wishing you all the best from Hungary.
Thanks!! We actually did that, but it didn't make the cut for this video. I'm thinking of making a separate video short for that - the topic could easily stand alone. Anyway, thanks for watching!
@@Our80sLifeTry to find out what happened to the sculpture that was in front of the Campbell Centre. It was pretty cool. I even contacted the Dallas Art Museum to see if they had it. Nobody knows where it went.
Thanks!! We found April's pool a few seasons ago while we were looking for Jenna's place, ha! Jenna, Sly, and April all had apartments in the "Village" area of Dallas. Back in the 80s, it was a singles-only complex of apartment buildings with many elaborate swimming pools, known for its wild parties!
Amazing as always!!! I'm sure my cousins will definitely love this too. There's an Embassy Suites in Cincy in a neighborhood called Blue Ash where I had dinner for my 19th Birthday, and plus there's one over across the bridge in Covington, Kentucky.
t's always fascinating how you find all these houses, streets and buildings. And I'm also surprised that a lot of things still look the same as they did in the series. So you managed to inspire me again and yes, I still plan to travel to Dallas in 2024. I'm looking forward to the next video.
Thanks Bernhard! Glad to hear we've inspired you, and please do let us know when you're making your travel plans. We'd love to meet you in Dallas and show you around! All the best, Abby & Keith ❤
Thanks Joe! We know where Frisco is - our favorite shopping area! We used to live in Allen back in 2000-2003, and Keith would take our daughter to the mall in Frisco because it had a Build-a-Bear. Happy memories for sure!
After watching the series a few times with The Dream season. I am currently skipping the dream season until I complete the series again than going back to the dream season as a side view point so far it makes season 10 easier to understand.
x That is really cool that you stayed there for the first night of your honeymoon! x It is interesting how they create a storyline using parts, places, and structures in different places (like different cities). x I watched The Legend of Billie Jean, great film! o That video was very helpful for understanding the framework of the film!
Thanks so much Ben, we appreciate it! And we’re happy to know you enjoyed The Legend of Billie Jean! We definitely gain a new perspective and greater appreciation for these films and shows after doing a deep dive on the filming locations!
@@Our80sLife I love that, but I really think the Valentine store was in Dallas maybe not as lingerie but otherwise... Xxx big hug to you both you that Xxx
I want to give you my darlings the best days. You are great and how nice that you have found each other, really such a nice couple so jealous. And maybe it's also true that the Valentine Boutique was in LA, Dallas was really great huh! And also really worldwide, here in the Netherlands at that time 7 million people watched it in the heyday out of a population of 14 million.
I stayed at that Embassy Suites in 2017,when my oldest niece graduated from Flower Mound High School! I had no idea it was a ‘Dallas’ location! I,too, got drunk as a skunk,it was a bit of a mess, unfortunately 😫
I'm in Texas I live 16 min away from Wylie Texas both my sisters live in Wylie Texas. the house you was at in Wylie been by this place numerous times. Also when you was at the wishing well right behind the building with the cross is the church office of my church & my church is right around the corner. If your in Wylie again on restaurants you need to go try Ballard's Street Cafe the food is really good.
I was born in 1978 but I have never watched one episode of Dallas. Yet I still remember my parents talking about who shot J.R. even though they didn't watch the show either. That goes to show you just how massive of a national phenomenon that show really was. There are no longer any shows that bring us together as society like that. Too many options.
So true! Neither of us grew up watching Dallas either (even though it was all over pop culture!) Only now have we realized what a gem the show really was, and it’s been so much fun discovering it as adults.
The spot where you went to where Mandy was eating lunch with a friend. The friend was played by Larry Hagman's then daughter In Law she was married to Larry's son Preston.

That underground mall is a time capsule!
It is!! We were thinking we need to explore more of it and do a video just about that sometime soon!
Love it! Interesting that they renovated Pam's house and got rid of the columns and made it a tudor. Still gorgeous!

Loved and been waiting for this!!! Thanks for doing season 10!!!!
Looking forward already to your season 11!!!!!!!!!!!!
So excited to see this!! Love your Dallas location videos!

We enjoyed watching all of your Dallas videos
Thank you so much!! Those videos are a labor of love, but they're fun! Glad you enjoyed them.
Great video! In your next one, you might go to Love Field, and find the big red sculpture that was in front of the Bank of America building.

Sure thing, thanks for sticking around. Glad you enjoyed it! 😃
Funny to see real homes filmed in the show.
This was great...the first I've seen of what you've documented. I will be sure to watch the others. Thank you...
Awesome, thank you! Welcome 😊
A cool place to visit when going to Dallas is The Dallas Comedy Club.
A+ video!
LOVE IT! Such a high-quality video!
Excellent video as always. Surprised to see April's pool area hasn't changed much since 1986!

That’s about when we got here, 1999. It’s sure changed a ton!
Fun to watch, thanks 😊

@@Our80sLife I only missed the Valentine store and Jenna's store. Greetings x
@@janhermanjoling950 We think both of those were probably places in L.A. Hoping to travel to California some day to hunt down more “Dallas” locations!

Pam moved back to South Fork as she was leaving and also probably budget cuts.
I agree, that hotel looked better when SueEllen said hello to the Winger Tramp.

P.S. Dallas is free to watch on Freevee (Amazon Prime) if you ever decide to give it a try! 😉
Hmmm.. May have to give it a try. We're 90's so my wife makes me watch Dawson's Creek and Gilmore Girls.@@Our80sLife
I been watching Dallas
Nice!! Do you have a favorite character or storyline?
Jock called Jr Ewing a Jack a** and called Bobby Ewing a Old Lady and my favorite is Bobby and Pam and Ray and Donna
