Bro someone gave you the wrong idea....these should have been called romantic songs from Bollywood Horror movies....what you should have checked Haunting melodies from Bollywood Horror movies....Lata was the queen of Haunting melodies....you should check them from the forties to the seventies....I don't know whether a compiled video exists or not but I think a Podcast can be made ..I will help you with suggestions if you are interested...though I should warn you almost ninety percent suggestions would be from Lata ji❤❤❤❤

You should watch Tumbaad movie and it’s title song. One of the best horror movie but very much underrated.Title song was composed by Ajay Atul and background score given by Jesper Kyd.

Horror is not always abt demons, spirits, possession, etc. ......it was definitely a horror....i felt terrified after watching it.....u can't deny that it was horror just because it had life lessons

Tumbaad was not scary to be honest it was a good movie which explored the aspacts of greed and it's consequences. Raaz and 13b are horror. Both were great
Actually KK's "Rafta Rafta " is a remake of "Bojhe na se bojhe na" (prem amar) composed by same bengali composer Jeet ganguli which is same but different . In KK's version it's soft and heartbreaking but in original bengali who sang Zubeen Garg (You did react before) it's more painful , aggressive and shattered your heart specially in last musical piece (last is different for both). As being Bengali I love both .❤❤❤❤

Most of the songs in the Bollywood Horror movies are in the first hour of the film when things kind of starts to go worng.. so the tone of the songs are romantic to show some steaming chemistry between the couple..
and songs in the later part of the film are more serious rather than romantic...
This list is incomplete without Gumnaam hai koi and Aayega Aanewala
Haunted was my favorite horror movie growing up. The songs are AMAZING.
1920 sure is a classic, but I would also recommend the following movies:

To be honest, Raaz and 13B were two good horror movies rest are not that good in horror aspact. 1920 was like rip off of many different Hollywood movies especially the infamous exorcist

I think a good horror movie for you to start with for your movie review channel would be bhool bhulaiyaa… since it’s not completely horror but more like horror comedy genre.

There was this popular TV show he was in that has the most beautiful OST on Indian television. Kitani Mohabbat Hai is the name of the show, and the lead pair is gorgeous! You guys should definitely react to it, as this is a true classic.

Most of the indian horror movies have great songs but the movie is usually trash. The best indian horror movies don't really have that many songs in it like tumbaad or bulbul. Also in India a genre is very popular that is 'horror comedy'. Movies like 'stree' are horror comedy where the movie is scary but there are lot of moments in the movie where you will laugh. Movies like raaz are just cash grab kind of movies where there is no plot , will have uncessary sex scenes which add nothing to the story and songs are great but when played in the movie they take you out completely. So if you want to check out indian horror movies go for movies like tumbaad, bulbul or stree rather than raaz or 1920.
Would highly recommend listening to Suna Suna sung by Shreya from the movie Krisshna Cottage. It is a sad romantic song but has a haunting melody that is apt for a horror and served a great bgm throughout some scenes in the movie.
Another great song from Kucch Toh Hai which by Sonu and Alka, Kya Pyar Karoge Mujh se. Again is a romantic song but has a little portion of instrumentatiom apt for a horror movie ❤
When it comes to the Indian horror genre nothing can creep me out more than ramsay's bg music and the tatiya bichu from jhapat laila (khilona baba khalnayak) 😂
The best haunting melody of all time is: "kahin deep jale kahin dil" by lata mangeshkar. Listen to this, and it will blow your mind because it is unbelievable that how can something be so haunting yet so so beautiful....

Yikes no, you need to go a little retro. In old Bollywood horror / mystery movies, they would have a mysterious girl singing in a distnce or a haunting melody would play in the background, and Lata Mangeshkar was the absolute queen of those songs, some example songs are:

If you wanna check out Indian horror movies Daayan, Ragini MMS and Tumbaad are probably the best options. Good Indian horror movies are few and far between tho.

Well i have to clear this...Indian horror movies are mostly love story based so all the songs you are watching are related to main leads love affais/they started to falling in love/heart break/flash back.If you watch the movies you'll understand...if you want to watch a commercial b-horror then" Haunted" would be best choice..i think other stuffs like 1920,raaz are trash and straight up copy from Hollywood movies...if you want a serious genre "tumbaad"/Ezra(malyalam)are one of the best

You didnt know but india has many dreadful old horror movies too.. there used to be some tv series in 90s.. which were very traumatic as a kid.. so we dint use to see but they existed..they were really horrifying!

A crude translation would be flavour or emotion depending on situation. Life is made of 9 rasas and any work of art has to have all 9 rasas to reflect life. The actual proportions are left to the creator. To fit into western ideas, different films are forcefully classified into different genres. For example, a movie with all rasas but with horror the largest proportion, is classified as horror under western genre concept, even if horror rasa is only 25% of the story but none of the other rasas is more than 10%.
Unlike monotoned western/ latin movies, a single segment or song cannot tell you the genre of an Indian movie.
