The Yinglong in combination with the L-69 Zhuo is absolutely OP. Even on "very hard" you're melting Cyberpsychos with the correct perks, mods and Cyberware (Sandevistan Mk.5 Falcon). Best guns in the game, imo.
Best part of smart guns is all you need to make them good is the Legendary Smart Link. Best part of Power guns is the ability to use silencers and suppressors. best part of tech is shooting through walls. Does not require any cybermods or attachments to do this. Requires heavy Attribute/perk investment though.
I just wish they had more customization options for them to really make them fit your needs. Like having different types of targeting computers you could swap around. Kinda wasted potential there.
To save new players a bit of time, you cant find the one in Watson or any of the others until you have completed the hiest and finished the beginning portion of the game, so dont waste eddies on the smart-link hands upgrade early on in the game!

If you go to Arasaka Industrial Park before the game takes you there...there is no one there and you can explore all you want......If you shoot out a roof window and drop down inside the building, I don't think you can leave (I never found a way)
I really couldn't believe they managed to patch Skippy's duplication out of the game in 1.06 considering the several oceans wide amount of bugs and broken things still in the game, its just idiotic that I can't get to keep one of the best smart weapons unless I want it to shout at me all the time and have an unfinished quest marker on the map. Bravo CDPR, bravo, way to pick priorities....

Still, its quite shocking that they went out of their way to code out Skippy and Johnny's set between 1.05 and 1.06 despite the myriad of problems plaguing the game.. unreal.
I would be interested to see a side by side comparison, of the best iteration of crafting, of Genjiroh, Chao, and Yukimura at the same level, which has better DPS, etc. effectively which is "the best" pistol
The update changed up some of the locations 7 G-58 Dian replaced with CRUSHER shotgun in my game Ashura smart sniper it was on the right side of the house it was previously in but no longer iconic

In the late game I ended up using the Shingen Prototype more. The ability to lock on to three targets and then three round burst was too useful. You can adjust for headshots as well.

The Shingen is an absolute beast! But I got it early in my playthrough, and it's legendary so can't craft higher. Upgrading is so expensive - any way around that that I missed? (I know duping components is one way, but any other?)
Yo. Are u “cheating” in your play through? (Money glitch or duplicate glitch)? Only reason is, if so, then the entire game should just be a breeze. If your not and playing it normally, you can get a crafting spec skill that allows you to craft components. Basically turn lower components into higher ones. That’s at a technical abilitie of 18 I believe. Or, when you come across any colored weapon green or higher, I’m sticking to blue or higher, you disassemble those into the same color component. That’s one way. But as far as crafting legendary items, you will need to have tech ability to 18 I believe. Also, you should def grind out to level 50 street cred 50 before going to point of no return. I cheated with the glitches my first play through and it was too quick and easy. Play on very hard no glitches or exploits to get the most out of it, plus it’s just way better not to loot with purpose. If u do the money glitch what’s the point of even playing when your rich. Ya feel me
@@Flat6Enjoyer yeah I did use those glitches.. but I'm not a regular gamer and sometimes play my games on easy. So with using those glitches, I'm able to get better gear and play on hard. I'm enjoying it and it doesn't harm anyone else :)
Divided we Stand, that one is better. You can put 4× mods that add +N damage in both, but the faster discharge practically merely determines whether foes go down about 200ms faster, which only matters if their cadence is higher than yours-most of the time it won't be-and you'll be wasting ammo otherwise. Then, DwS has a higher range.
@@EditioCastigata Oh yes, DWS is definitely comparable! And because that's an epic, I'm waiting for me to level up some more before I turn it into legendary. But Shingen's burn damage and explosive rounds are unmatched in any other SMG. Just fun seeing those goons explode lol
@@rajatcn honestly, (almost) any weapon can be made to be OP with all the perks in the game. Certain tech weapons can hit for 1.2Million damage upwards, blades can achieve similar results. Sniper rifles are broken as well. With the right perks, assault rifles and smgs will melt any enemy even though they are less broken than other weapon classes. Its really up to your playstyle and what weapon you like to use. Thats what i like about the game. Nothing is broken if everything is broken
shame you cannot buy G-58 dian legendary (i already goes to all shop and it doesn't spawn)and has to craft it *Cries in attribute 8 in technical stat* .. i really love it to cause damn it fast
For the guide that starts at 12:52... when you craft that shotgun, shoot the glass protecting the armor and it'll break and you can take the armor. Pretty fuckin sweet. Kinda reminds me of the secret armor in horizon zero dawn and you're pretty unstoppable. Lol this game is pretty imbalanced but thats ok. Its fun
And again I'm a bit disappointed not to find a smart LMG i was really looking forward to heavy weapons but for now ill keep driving around with my car trunk full of the Heavy MG mmmm firepower
If you intend to level your crafting to 18 so you can build legendaries you can pick them up any time. You can always craft a higher version as you get the bp as well.
You can get them around lvl 43 onwards as the cost of upgrading isn't very steep initially. But don't grab them when you are below that otherwise the cost increases exponentially. I say it from experience as some of these costed me like 700 uncommon and 120 legendaries components at the later stages per upgrade. I was level 17 when I got them and upgraded them to legendary at around level 22 so when I hit level 50, I had more than 27 upgrades remaining.
@@XDark8SlayerX Made the same mistake, so look a few hours and some pettiness to exploit the 10% chance of free upgrade perk by saving before each upgrade until it was free😂

Excellent !!! I prefer the smart weapons to go with my current build. 10 Body, 20 Reflexes (mainly assault with a tad in pistols), 18 Tech, 20 Intelligence, 3 Cool. I start out with my quickhacks and stick with them unless I get swarmed, then I want as much firepower going down range. Smart guns let me spray and just forget the praying part. Once I get some cash I try to end up carrying a Legendary D5 Sidewinder, Chao pistol as back up in case I run out of ammo for the D5. I will then mix and match a smart sniper, smart shotgun, or a blade. All depending on what I am trying to level for free perk points. I just wish I could find the blueprints for the D5 Sidewinder. Great job showing where things are on the map! Other TH-camr's can't seem to bother leaving the viewers scratching their heads trying to find stuff in game.
The game gets so much better when you slow down a little, take-in the world, and explore. There are tons of little things to find, from loot to easter eggs.

So I searched for a good half an hour and found 2 useless "Laptops" in an area that will be a relevant side mission later on (No enemies there yet but clearly a mission area) I hate PWs.
@@TurKlack You certain? I’ve never encountered a situation where I _needed_ a password/combo to get anywhere. There’s always been a multitude of ways to get to things. And the combinations were always nearby on a shard, if there was no other way (but as I said, never encountered a situation like that). The level design is actually top-notch in that way.
Tried going back to get Divided We Stand, because the first time i did it i didn't win the contest and i didn't kill the guy. When I went back, nothing was there.
Btw, how can you deal so little damage with pistols at level 35?? Even with randomized perks, pistols are so broken in this game that you should be already doing over 100k dmg! Definitely seems like a fresh character with no time or thoughts put into it that's just showing locations without even having any armour or anything on!
Other smart pistol and smgs are a bit random. But the smart sniper can be aimed for headshot only, if you wait a bit, wait until the red reticle locked on enemy head, you will get a headshot.

i did it before the game takes me there, i picked the gun and leaved, no problem but i need level 15 to use the gun lol

Once u kill 50 ppl with skippy though. He turns that mode off.
Thats why you pick the non-lethal option first. After 50 kills he locks into permanent headshot mode.

Is the Ashura smart sniper silenced?
Nope. It cannot pierce through cover and it needs to reload every shot. Kinda hard to use, actually.
Weird that it looks like has a silencer but its not and its useless in a 2vs 1 fight because it takes a week to reload…
I really have to explore the game more often.

Aim it generally close to the head for head shots. They always pick the shortest path to the target.
