Cool! Also sorry in advance I'm a huge fan of star wars due to being an identical triplets (means my brothers and I are clones of each other by definition as our dna is identical I used to love the clones in part because of this) Anyway those can droids you see pop up are used for lifting large amounts of rock and are often used to help move escalated ground around Separatist key points to help fortify them from blaster fire. Afterwhich they'd go hide in the tunnels made by the escalation and just stick their Annette through and up above (the anntene have the ability to charge their tip with plasma allowing them to bore through rock). The reason they look like cans as well is because they could fold up Their bodies inside to better protect them from the elements when they're dormant underground. The octuptara droids are different from revenge of the sith the ones gracious uses are about 9ft tall antipersonnel tarras whose role was primarily to spot targets allowing battle droid fire to be greatly improved upon single targets. They fired sniper shots. The ones used here however (and on Kamini in revenge of the sith against kiadimundi) are deployment octuptara whose main roles were antibattery weapons (they used their hight combined with an upsized sniper rifle to target antivehicle batteries allowing the actual tanks and main forces to move in. They were later adapted to be able to shoot biohazards such as gas, or plagues through/over defenses the republic had allowing their bases to rot from the inside assuring an easy win that would take a few days. The octuptara droids in both cases were made to be cheap disposable shock troops meat to weaken dug-in forces of the republic and thus were only really seen at the start of battles which is why we don't see them more often even though they were extremely common. They were some of the cheapest vehicle units the CIS could muster essentially being just three legs three guns a single droid brain and a large orb to contain the tibanna gas used as ammo (fun fact early in the war if a droid deployed with these ran out of gas it could go to one of these droids to refill their blaster packs! However when the republic realized you could do this and began harvesting the gas from downed tarras the CIS changed it so they'd blowup upon disablement as to prevent the republic from gaining ammo. Hope this helps and have a wonderful day

Yet another fun fact: Along with the two clones who punched B1 battle droids (one with a significantly worse outcome for the clone), there's also a clone in this movie who attempts to punch a B2 super battle droid. Emphasis on _attempts,_ because the SBD catches the clone's wrist and then shoots him, before tossing him like a sack of potatoes
Fun fact #2: In the episode "Hidden Enemy", yet another clone attempts to punch a B1. This ends about as well as you'd expect, with another clone death. Ironically, this is also technically during the battle of Christophsis.
@@VadersFist95 yeah Ik slick blew up most of the AT-TE but when slick blew up those ones they were on fire and crashed on the ground. This one is standing up and dosent look damaged. So maybe slick disabled it another way or it was one of the few tanks that slick didn’t destroy.
About The clone that was checking for a heartbeat. It’s actually highly possible that he could hear his brother’s heart because he placed the part of his helmet that held his earpiece against their chest-plate. Phase one armour is more advanced than it looks. There was usually a cheap sensor under a clone’s chest-plate so that a clone medic could check for a heartbeat without having to take off their helmet. The removal of their helmet in a combat zone could immediately get them killed. All he had to do was get his earpiece close enough to the sensor and he would hear his brother’s heart, if it was still beating.
That makes sense, a medic doesn't have spend time assessing every downed trooper on the field, and I'd assume hundreds of clones would get injured every engagement from what we see in the movie and show

1:32 Actually that is a misconception, the armor worn by clones protects them from shrapnel, concussive forces, kinetic projectiles, hazards environments and directed energy blaster bolts of low to medium power depending on distance. You see much like all directed energy projectiles the amount of power of the blast rapidly begins to lose energy the longer it travels which means that unless the blast packs a considered amount of initial power it will weigh fissile out in transit or deliver a subpar energy output on its target than it would have delivered if it were closer. So odds are some of those troopers survived. The reason they pass out is the same reason that Ahsoka and the Goat fellow from the cantina shoot out with the pantorans did after being hit in the arm- the heat transfer from the blast is off sufficient quantity to overload the body's homeostasis capabilities and render the subject unconscious. It's the equivalent of getting an instant heat stroke.

This may put a smile on your face, but at least one this battle was confirmed to be still canon. Mace windu’s battle of Dantooine was refensed by ki-ad mundi as said that the majority it windu’s forces were wounded which match what happened
@Dr. Cool Of course the battle of Coruscant would be canon; anything in movies Disney can't make non-canon (though I'm sure Kennedy will keep trying) Given how many times Grievous has lost against other Council members like Kenobi, Fisto and Koth, the only reason I can think of him beating Shaak Ti was she was probably coming down with a case of COVID. (That may sound ridiculous, but I point out how under Disney, Star Wars has gotten ridiculous; from SJW droids that somehow have sex with humans, to the Death Star somehow being 2/3rds intact and having crashed landed on another planet despite being in Endor's orbit)
I highly recommend you watch the Battle of Umbara. It consists of episodes 7-10 of season 4. It's regarded as one of the best battles of the show and one of, if not the best, arc in terms of story building and plot development.

It is possible that it is obi wan and anakins fault that surrendering Republic troops were killed so often, the CIS couldn't trust them to actually surrender. (Kinda like the Germans in ww2 did to the Russians, which worked out much worse for them than it did the Republic)
a good thing to keep in mind while watching star wars is most characters wearing armor (like clones and storm troopers) won't die in one shot, i see a few people complain about armor doing nothing but generally, if you see a clone get shot once and fall over hes likely not dead, just incapacitated, the armor spreads the blast all across the body which will put you out most times but not kill you, especially with phase 2 clone armor and storm trooper armor.
About the infamous clone who punched the droid and then got shot, I always thought the first shot was to his chest and that he just kept charging at the droid on pure adrenaline before punching it and getting killed, so I didn’t realize his weapon was shot out of his hands.
I'm aware you're not a 100% Star Wars fan, but you need to see the christophsis episodes of the Clone Wars FIRST and THAN the movie. Then the vehicles sitting around doing nothing would make more sense. Short answer: a clone blows some allied stuff up for money and they loose almost all of their heavy vehicles. Those which remain have almost no ammo and limited energy. So, all the ammo and everything is given to the artillery as priority, the one thing which was completely fine.
I think it's interesting, that we can see some clones with orange markings, indicating that they are in the 212th Attackbattailion. And the information we can get from it, since not all the clones have those markings, is that those marked clones, are Clone Segeants, Luitenants, Corparals and Captains.
3:21 I know it's epic and awesome. But I still question what Obi Wan's tactics were to have his clone troopers charge the droids head on in open spacing without cover to engage in close quarters. They have no reinforcements that they know of to relieve them and the Heavy Cannons are all they have stopping the droid tanks from crushing them. You also have Anakin leading a small squad flanking the enemy. So maybe Obi Wan was leading a direct counter attack to reinforce Anakin's flanking attack? But still, it's risky to lead a bunch of your army out of your entrenched position to fight in CQC with an infinite amount of droids.
I think it's just a desperate 'last charge' diversion plan so that Anakin's squad can take down the Tri droids, since they're clearly are the biggest threat.
A lot of the early CW battles we see involve both sides just charging across open fields at one another, without even attempting to use cover or tactics.
The reason the AT-TE was not firing was because it was malfunctioned, I remember hearing in the show that the only things working was their cannons because in an earlier timeframe a clone called slick betrayed the republic and blew up their arsenal which lead to only the canons surviving
If you were to ask me why I would prefer the droid army fighting for my empire I would simply say: Quality wins battles but quantity wins wars. The true reason is because I love seeing b1s having such a great numbers advantage that they simply march up to your trench line and proceed to moe you down.
People don’t realize how brutal and dark Star Wars the clone wars was. Especially the animated thing series. During the umbarran arc is where I think it got pretty brutal.
Clones, phase 1 clone armor has long been used by soldiers of the Galactic Republic as standard armor. Armor didn't have much rank distinction in its early stages. Therefore, they implemented the patent system through colors in the armor, being Yellow = Commander; Red = Captain; Blue = Lieutenant and Green = Sergeant. However, over the course of the Clone Wars, some clones painted their armor the way they wanted it, customizing it according to specific units, such as representing Battalions. This armor was heavy, uncomfortable and not very approved among clones. but in phase 1 it had air filters, oxygen system and magnetic boots. These armors made it possible to pressurize, being able to fight for a longer time in a vacuum.
Sorry for the first comment on this subject, I'm not from the United States of America, I'm Brazilian and I'm learning English, in the first post I typed wrong and I wasn't late to see if I was right.
For a next Clone Wars Battle, I'd highly recommend the Battle of Teth (The one where the AT-TEs are scaling up the cliffside) and the Battle of Ryloth.
The clone that was boxing the droid in episode three is actually the same clone I believe he was called CT7764 nicknamed “punch“ you can see him in slicks unit in one of the clone wars episodes
There are 2 versions of the Tri-droid as it seem. The Octuptarra Combat and the Octuptarra Magna. The former are the small ones in RoTS and the latter are the big ones. Both are 3.6m and 14.6m tall respectively.
If you have your Anti-Deprecant's filled you should really do the first Battle in the Umbara arc. Those weapons are nasty af and with your sharp eyes and love for details I bet you can pick up on even more things that make me wanna see my therapist after rewatching that arc.
3:04 That guy's head is (mostly) intact, slowing it down further reveals it's still attached but with a massive hole through the forehead - you can see it on the helmet too!
I think it’s because phase two clone armour has padded gloves which make that clone in aotc able to box the b1 while the one’s in tcw who punch droids get nothing done.
2:20 Fun fact: There was also a tri droid at the Battle of Mygeeto, it blows up a clone tank right before Bacara and the Galactic Marines stopped and killed Mundi.
The clone that as you say "gets his head blown off" does infact not get his head blown off. If you slow it down enough you can even see his head still attatched to his body, his helmet just got blown off by the headshot, as he has the generic Clone head with short black hair.
I remember being super young and biking to the DVD rental store on my tiny bike to rent out this movie for a whole month only to watch it a hundred times at home and on car rides to the grandparents house, and then never return it. I miss my childhood.
Seeing this again brings back memories. Always enjoyed watching SWTCW movie when I was 11. My dad surprised me and my sister to see the movie and we had a blast.
5:42 You ever play the OG Halo trilogy? The Marines would hitch a ride whenever you drove a tank in this exact fashion, it's like an old world war strat that got heavily outdated as guns got more accurate, but sticks around in media for sheer rule of cool.
I think the clone that was shot in the head at 1:52 actually survived and got back up. When his head pops back up you can see a dent where the blaster bolt was deflected.
I used to think that clone who said “come on then” got his head blown but it just knocked his helmet off. But me as a kid “For the Republic!!!, watch your left!”
Wow, I seen this movie so many times (I count it; Star Wars has *TWELVE* movies; heck I count this movie more than the sorry excuse for a Sequel Trilogy, lol 😂 ), and I never noticed the blaster in the clone hand before it gets shot out of his hands. I always thought he just straight up ran to punch the droid and I’m always like “Idiot, what were you trying to do?” lol 😂
1. It's canon 2. Theatrical release 3. Introduced Rex and Ahsoka 4. Launched the beloved series 5. Technically an anthology film as 1 there's no opening crawl and 2 the main character isn't Anakin or Obi-Wan 6. The first Kiner project The short of it.......there are 12 films
Ok this one might be controversial but the battle of exegol in the rise of Skywalker I know I hate the movie but I kinda want to know if there is any hidden details besides CGI explosions and people getting shot at
Those B2 Super Battle Droids at 10:49 are just standing there, not attacking at all. The clones don't blast the B2s. My question is, what happened to those B2s?
Likely taken to be deactivated and taken apart to see if any improvements have been made to the model or programing, or even for weapons testing to see if the new weapons are up to taking on B2 armour. From a strategic point of view having intact droids could do wonders to R&D during the war.
6:32 football huddle! clone #1: okay, how are we going to get the ball past the giant dudes? clone #2: left side carry. offense alpha omega! clone #1: thats pretty risky cap, you sure? clone #2: positive threes. lets ge- clone #3: or we could just shoot 'em. clone #2: yeah, ok, that works
I would recommend doing the first two chronological battles of the clone wars series. The orbital battle of Christophis S2 E16 and part 1 of the ground battle of christophis S1 E16.
Actually, it would be possible for clones to punch droids since clones have armour on the back of their hands, so the clones are actually able to position their hands so that the only thing hitting the droid when they throw a punch would be the edge of the armor plate on the back of their hands
In legends it's explained that clone Commandos and Arc troopers would infiltrate droid factories and change the mixture slightly so the flankers would fragment more and this easier to blast
Clone armor was designed to hurt the clone in the spot they are shot, and contain it, letting the trooper fight on. Shots to the back and extremities could be survived, head and chest less so. Stormtroopers have armor that distributes a blaster shot to their entire body to have higher chances of survival in normal conflict, but knocking them out.
I enjoyed the highlights here it is some nostalgia for sure, still have this movie on DVD, I need to watch it again sometimes. I think that while this wasn't explained in the movie, in the Clone Wars episode where Sergeant Slick betrays them, that episode is before the movie, and in that episode Slick destroys their ammo depot. So I believe that is why they have no tanks and stuff because most of it was destroyed, so I think the ATTE that you mentioned not moving probably had no more ammo or fuel or something like that. It may be a lot to ask since I know Clone Wars battles got more and more crazy as the seasons went on, I would like to see you watch the battle from the 1st episode with Yoda and the 3 clones, the commando droid battle where Rex and Cody meet Fives, Echo and Hevy, the 2nd Battle of Geonosis, and the Battle of Umbara. I realize that those last two span multiple episodes, but hey, more content.
My favourite clone helmet is phase 3. The one that totally exist and is a thing. But really I love phase 1 for clones but for commanders and arc troopers it’s phase 2
5:34, that's what heavy artillery is good for, no matter what the enemy has they probably ain't gonna survive a gigantic mass of plasma falling from the sky

YESSS! Finally someone who I can agree with about the phase one helmets!
Btw, Cody's and Jet's phase 1 helmets look pretty cool
The clone that punched a droid needs his own trilogy
That clone is more deserving of the skywalker title then rey is tbh
@@bacongamerepic You're right
buddy cop movie with him and the guy that does nothing but cover his ears and stand by the cannons
Featuring the stormtrooper hitting his head on a door.
3:05 i had discord open and you almost gave me a heart attack, love the series btw
I was like 9 when ROTS was released so my dad took me and my brother's to the theaters to see it. Good times
00:01
"General Kenobi, you're a **bold** one."
I always assumed the small explosion was from one of the AAT's missiles detonating behind it not the rabbit Droid getting hit. (9:59)
Phase one is definitely my favorite of the two basic helmets, it looks so cool!
The reason the AT-TE was not firing was because it was malfunctioned, I remember hearing in the show that the only things working was their cannons because in an earlier timeframe a clone called slick betrayed the republic and blew up their arsenal which lead to only the canons surviving
The battle of Ringo Vinda I believe would be an epic battle to watch in 0.25x speed
About the heartbeat scene, if you look carefully, the clone checking the heartbeat is also checking the injured clones pulsenwith his right hand.
If you were to ask me why I would prefer the droid army fighting for my empire I would simply say: Quality wins battles but quantity wins wars.
The true reason is because I love seeing b1s having such a great numbers advantage that they simply march up to your trench line and proceed to moe you down.
In the minutes 03:32 to 03:35 to a clone that took three shots, the first crouching and the second dodging to the side.
4:00 If you run out of ammunition you can still cave in your enemy's skull.
9:28 well, yeah, if you listen closely, the clone calls for a medic. The guy must have been alive
I'm so glad I found this channel!!! I've always wanted to watch the little things I'd miss normally and this channel does it all for me! Keep it up!
For a next Clone Wars Battle, I'd highly recommend the Battle of Teth (The one where the AT-TEs are scaling up the cliffside) and the Battle of Ryloth.
This movie was my childhood, AND I WASN’T EVEN BORN WHEN IT CAME OUT
3:11 clone wars is not a kid show, it's too risky to say that, you could start a war
The clone that was boxing the droid in episode three is actually the same clone I believe he was called CT7764 nicknamed “punch“ you can see him in slicks unit in one of the clone wars episodes
I agree with you on the clone helmets, the phase one clone helmets are my favorites, though the phase 2 are also really cool
1:57
I agree, first time seeing someone actually say that they preffer the phase 1 actually, its cooler in my opinion, ngl tho both seem awesome.
There are 2 versions of the Tri-droid as it seem. The Octuptarra Combat and the Octuptarra Magna. The former are the small ones in RoTS and the latter are the big ones. Both are 3.6m and 14.6m tall respectively.
My favorite helmet is captain Rex’s phase 2 armor
If you have your Anti-Deprecant's filled you should really do the first Battle in the Umbara arc. Those weapons are nasty af and with your sharp eyes and love for details I bet you can pick up on even more things that make me wanna see my therapist after rewatching that arc.
They should bring Christophis to Battlefront III.
3:04
That guy's head is (mostly) intact, slowing it down further reveals it's still attached but with a massive hole through the forehead - you can see it on the helmet too!
This is where the fun begins!!!
RIP to that poor rabbit droid, I never noticed that until now either.
Same 😢
Im a fam dude keep it up plz
I think it’s because phase two clone armour has padded gloves which make that clone in aotc able to box the b1 while the one’s in tcw who punch droids get nothing done.
man, phase 1 helmets are SO cool, along with the ARF ones, they`re my favorite ones
I’m rewatching Star Wars rn and doing rogue one rn, you interrupted the last battle but I’ll keep watching your video
Phase 1 were always my favorite helmet design
2:20 Fun fact: There was also a tri droid at the Battle of Mygeeto, it blows up a clone tank right before Bacara and the Galactic Marines stopped and killed Mundi.
The Phase 1.5 helmets (the ones used by the ARC Troopers) are a nice combo of both phases.
You should do the battle of Dathomire at some point, there's probably nothing to awesome but I love the atmosphere of it literally and figuratively.
More like the Massacre of Datgomire..
That’s probably one of my favorite episodes with grievous!
@@Wyvern63 everything you just said was correct.
A bold choice of battle.. but loved it! Might as well go in order with the whole show lol
9:33 Missed an opportunity to put captain fordo there to recreate the captain fordo blasting droids left and right scene
Those droids at 8:05 was the original droideka/destroyer/rolleys design
Just a reminder, a lot of Clones died needlessly from bad Jedi tactical skills.
9:18
He calls for a medic so that trooper is alive
Seeing this again brings back memories. Always enjoyed watching SWTCW movie when I was 11. My dad surprised me and my sister to see the movie and we had a blast.
6:40 soldiers try to catch local wildlife all the time IRL. We used to have bug fights with various insects we caught
5:42 You ever play the OG Halo trilogy? The Marines would hitch a ride whenever you drove a tank in this exact fashion, it's like an old world war strat that got heavily outdated as guns got more accurate, but sticks around in media for sheer rule of cool.
9:23
I think you’re also forgetting about his chest plate the helmet plus the chest plate you would not be able to hear a heartbeat through that 😊
I think the clone that was shot in the head at 1:52 actually survived and got back up.
1. It's canon
2. Theatrical release
3. Introduced Rex and Ahsoka
4. Launched the beloved series
5. Technically an anthology film as 1 there's no opening crawl and 2 the main character isn't Anakin or Obi-Wan
6. The first Kiner project
The short of it.......there are 12 films
In star wars kill count videos sometimes i don't understand where in the screen is the dead that get counted, this series help a lot.
Hey! we have a matching profiles picture
@@m.u.7895 nice
The guy with his ears being held is supposed to reload the tannins after they use up all their ammunition Battle of umbara
Actually, it would be possible for clones to punch droids since clones have armour on the back of their hands, so the clones are actually able to position their hands so that the only thing hitting the droid when they throw a punch would be the edge of the armor plate on the back of their hands
Those AV-7 Heavy Cannons are the same cannons seen in the Venator's Artillery Deck in Revenge of the Sith and The Bad Batch.
Now I want to watch the movie and the entire show all over again
I’m starting to notice a slight abundance of phase 1 212th clones in some scenes that I never realized had phase 1 212ths in.
Please do the battle of umbara
Edit: My favorite clone helmet is the phase 1.5 helmet, exclusive to ARC troopers
I love that helmet too!
Umbara is one of my favorite Clone Wars Arcs!
That’s a good choice!
4:15 the AT-TE isn’t firing because it’s out of fuel and the tabana gas is also the ammunition for the guns.
The clone wasn't listening for a heartbeat, he was probably trying to watch if the chest was rising and falling.
6:37 maybe they we’re counting bodies
My favourite clone helmet is phase 3.
The one that totally exist and is a thing.
But really I love phase 1 for clones but for commanders and arc troopers it’s phase 2
Favourite helmet? Easily Phase 1 ARC helmet, without a doubt. Literally the best combination of every clone helmet, save for Commando.
5:34, that's what heavy artillery is good for, no matter what the enemy has they probably ain't gonna survive a gigantic mass of plasma falling from the sky
This was the first star wars medal I EVER Saw, I was 6 and it was so nostalgic to see this, say the least I am happy that this video came out.
The reason all at-te are not used in the battle at the beginning is because slick (the clone traitor) sabotage them all in another episode
Oh yeah! I totally forgot about that
