Clothes/appearance have nothing to do with self respect and class. That simple minded view of things is what has led to many conflicts throughout human history. The reason you are bothered by sagging is because you have been trained to think it is "bad" just like you probably have been trained to believe dresses are for girls not boys. There is no logic behind these beliefs people are just trying to make opinions into facts. The only true measure of class and self respect is a persons character.

@mentoring42 That is true to. Some people say that the way you dress resembles the way you act. So sometimes even though it is pettish and stupid to arrest or fine people for sagging it does help. The way it helps though is for parenting childeren and teens. To me the concept won't work for cops telling grown adults not to sag. Parents telling there kids not sag, not to dress scandlish, and to act correct is better then mindless cops arresting people for sagging.

There should be a law stating that if someone is purposely sagging, (sagging AND wearing a belt/rope/etc.) that they should spend up to 3 months in a county jail (not federal prison). sagging is good if the jeans are super skinny low rise pulled up they still look low low low like Rufskins, but it doesn't look great with baggy pants
