Yeah, it's such a shame being trapped in 1993 with Creep. Radiohead has done so much for Music. No other band has achieved what these guys have Artistically speaking.

One of the most vocal dependant songs here. Such a different vibe from anything else on The King Of Limbs (except maybe Codex). Another great example of the band using the most basic of motifs and creating something as beautiful as this.

I’m sorry man… I’ve always pictured such scenario hearing this and I’d never thought that somebody listening to this might be dealing with the exact problem in reality. May her memories stay vivid, keep going on strong.
My beloved dog Mazzy, the best friend I'll ever have, passed peacefully in her sleep, at home in her bed last night, after a long battle with cancer, diabetes, you name it. This is the very worst day of my life. It's too painful. I battled with her to the very end and drained all money I'd saved and then some, in so doing. She was THAT special, and much, much more. Her value and importance was limitless. It's very easy for me to imagine that the primary lyrics to this song are her talking to me with love and acceptance for all we've had together, and all we never will, and the repeating lyrics are me talking to her in the fear/sorrow of this very moment in time. Thank you Radiohead for constructing the absolute perfect song for us in this, our saddest times.
Everytime I hear this, I *instantly remember my Father.* Even though he died 16 years ago at the age of 52 (I was 26), from a looooong battle with cancer, I am right back there. In the middle of it all again. This one song embodies so much "everything".
