@@MatthewEncina Just watched it all the way through. Incredibly detailed, I love it! You also beautifully incorporated your wife's art into the video, she's incredibly talented. Can't wait for the next video.
I LOVE the workspace and I'm super inspired!!! But one thing I want to call out is your MASTERFUL pacing and editing in this storytelling piece. 14-minutes absolutely FLEW by because every shot and every word moved seamlessly from beat-to-beat.
I can definitely get into club smooth down wood with sand paper. Very satisfying. I've loved this since I was a kid and we had our first workshop classes.
i think the best thing about this video is when you show a night look at your living room. it's common to everyone show their places with lots of ambient light, but it's really nice to see a night perspective of how cozy the place is right now :)
Thank you for this video. The down to earth realistic approach makes it so relatable and so humane compared to the usual DIY channels. I also cried in joy when I saw that customised drawer. I love customisation and organisation, so that was a perfect combo! Very beautiful and tasteful design. Good job to both (also your dad) of you!
Reminds me of when I worked in cabinetry before going to school. There's just something about working with wood that you can't find anywhere else. You and your wife are on your way to being the next Eames!
Maaan! Before watching the video I wan never expecting this kind of workspace. You did everything so precisely and save a lot of space. Seriously I want to copy your workspace.
love love love everything about this. The lack of paralyzing fear to set out and woodwork regardless of prior experience, your dynamic with your wife and creative collaboration, and the form and delivery of this video. So well done. Thank you for sharing with us!
I just married and we are building our house and seeing this is surely inspiring. We don't have resources to build things by ourselves, but watching this gives me motivation to organize our space. Cheers!
Kinda wild what a couple of designers are capable of doing when combining their skillsets and their interests. You had an ambitious goal and a great plan. Awesome result!
@@MatthewEncina I appreciate the reply. It was a good moment but he is with the Lord, 2 years ago. I am continuing the father and son fixing stuff with my 5 and 7yo boys. Salamat!
I feel your wife's struggle. I'm a multi-medium artist too, and organization is a thorn in my side. I love the pencil drawer in your video. I so need one of those.
I see it in a lot of DIY organization videos, but arm-rests on computer chairs aren't the best idea. The point is to have your shoulders relax when you work. That means having your elbows rest on the table and that also means allowing you to raise your chair up high enough to be able to do that. Typically, the thickness of the table/drawer system impedes this ability as well as arm-rests. However, since the table is pretty thin, you can get away with arm-rests so that balances out.
@@The1Music2MyEars While I would agree that armrests are usually a nuisance, I think the Lino has exceptional comfort especially with those fully adjustable arms.
Awesome desk. What I found more impressive was, you are both not woodworkers but your built something, I would exprect from a pro woodworker with years of experience. This inspires me with confidence to build my own desk when I move out in a couple of months time. I am using a desk from Ikea that I hacked but building your own custom desk would be more satisfying. I differently have tools to do so this would not cost me much, apart from the wood and of course, my own time. Fantastic desk and the organiser is such a cool ideal, looks very neat and professional. Also, one thing I learnt from watching woodworking videos, if you put masking tape on the cut line, you will get a much smoother cut, something to remember if your build anymore desks in the future. Great video and content.
You really are a master at making over spaces in a sophisticated way. Its functional yet stylish. I love your aesthetic. I could easily see you becoming an office space interior designer.
I wish I had a house like you man, it’s so beautiful filled with light and life a lot of love and happiness and I just love it! You’re home is literally the definition of my dream home.
Great space/design! I was surprised to see the functional chair be replaced by an aesthetic one that looks super uncomfortable, esp for a working artist, but it fits the space.
The aesthetic and design of the room is phenomenal and took weeks of work, but the video production and editing matches the beauty of the workspace in more ways than one. This was a treat to watch!

the word corona means anything that is shaped like a crown. The Covid 19 virus is crown shaped, that's why its called the 'corona virus'. The word itself is not new.
You can also use the general blade for plywood, but you need to make sure that a) the blade is only about 1-2 mm from the size of the wood, and b) use tape to prevent the wood from chipping and breaking.

Exactly. Even I used to keep thinking about the aesthetic. But ended up working on my bed because of the uncomfort
