You really glossed over the implications of the research in number 5. It isnt just making you more rational at problen solving but it is being looked into as a potential tool for doing therapy in a second language because one can have a less emotional reaction when describing traumatic experiences and being able to rationalize and reframe the experience. For the average learner i think journaling and using introspection in your second language would be useful in that regard. Anyways good video. Thanks
Hey, just looked into your masterclasses, some good ideas there. Are these mostly targeted at beginners? I've been learning for over 4 years now and while me listening and reading are quite good, I still struggle to speak fluently. When I listen I fully get the concept behind the formed senteces, know the words etc. but my brain still can't form them fluently and consistently. Would you say the Think in Chinese and Sentence Mining classes could help with that, even though my level is already intermediate?
I think those two masterclasses would definitely be really useful for you! I would say they are definitely suitable for intermediates! Let me know how you get on with them. You can always drop us an email at info@peakmandarin.com
