I know i have what's known as CGE tinted glasses, but Arnak looks so good to me. Am I missing something? People seem to be preferring Imperium. But Arnaks resource management systems look so good. Plus it doesn't seem to need as much player interaction as Imperium so it might be better at 2 players. Anyone have any opinions on Arnak VS Imperium at 2 players specifically?
That really depends on the players. I know some people who enjoys Imperium more because of the interaction and the tension it brings. I also know some people who enjoys Arnak more because of the tight resource management paired with the light and indirect player interaction. Arnak seems to appeal more on those who prefer Euros more. Personally, I like them both for their own right. Would probably depend on my mood if I prefer a more interactive one or not during the time.
Deck builder where drawing more cards can be bad: Mystic Vale. You can bust on the wasteland/blight symbols that are forced draws by other “draw card” effects.
I really like this game! 😀 So stoked to get it preordered late 2019 and got my hands on this January this year. It’s so balanced. I hope they come up with more cards and guardians. I really like seeing u guys play together!
How often do my games become derailed because of mistakes I made? Too many! It's great to see you all in an actual realistic game play with mistakes that can alter the universe! LOL! You guys are great!
I stayed away from this game due to the hype and the solo videos did not look enjoyable. I finally tried it out on BGA with a friend, and I loved it! Much more fun to play than watch. I'm now waiting for my FLGS to get the game back in stock
Wow, what a great turn one on the temple track but then only 57pts?!?! That's the worst score I ever heard of. Lessons learnt: rushing up that track and ignoring everything else incl "collecting" fear cards from guardians seems not to be the perfect way to go. After getting your second "helper" you can relax a bit on the temple track. Otherwise, you can hardly win bin buying cards like crazy...so 1. get good item cards ASAP 2. mid game focus on artefact cards 3. End game just grab item cards if you have some coins left or if you have ways to draw them immediately.

I always forget that you can hire a plane for 2 coins.
Seems like that’s one of the most overlooked rules

Have you played with the advanced side? I think it makes the game much more challenging and better..!
