They need to implement a feature in camera bodies that make you shoot photos with your photo settings, but is recording at the same time in video with its own video settings... Would be a game changer.
I'd love to do hybrid coverage. But I'm afraid that I'm just not going to be happy with the final video if I can't give my full attention to filming. I know that my couples will be super happy with it even if its not perfect. Maybe that's just my perfectionism standing in the way of success again.

How much longer do you take to deliver the highlight film? Do you deliver the video and photos together or just the photos first?
@@TaylorJacksonPhoto Photography and videography is taken care by one team consisting photographer and videographer. And some videographers do photography too due to large participation of people in Indian culture .
I think this is a fantastic idea just not sure if I could cope with the stress to make photos and videos during times like walking down the aisle or 30seconds first dance or first kiss. ❤😅😢
I’m going to start hybrid, just remember if a first dance 30seconds long you probably only need 4 seconds of the whole thing for a highlight video, halved in time for slow mo is 8 seconds in your edit or two 4 second clips, more than enough first dance footage. That leaves 26 seconds for stills 👌🏼😎

I do same camera but I know a few that use different cameras. It works as well. For editing it’s in Premiere Pro but most things should convert to Final Cut. It’s also 100% money back guarantee so if it’s not for you that’s fine as well

Right now, hybrid photography in Poland is set up for failure. Another issue is the limited number of weddings during the season. In my opinion, this is largely due to visibility. If you're a well-known TH-camr or have thousands of Instagram followers, sure, you'll get more bookings. But not everyone is a TH-camr."
The subtitles are really annoying. Are we really at a point in society where the consumer is too lazy to switch on youtube subtitles? I just find them really distracting and don't end up watching the actual video.
My biggest struggle with shooting both photos and videos with the same camera at the same time has been using filters to maintain proper exposure for videos. I don’t like using a filter for photos and I feel like I can’t get the correct exposure without one when shooting video. Then I think that for videos maybe I should just crank up the shutter speed, but then I feel like I’m taking something away from the visual experience of the video. 🥲

I usually do previews a few days after the wedding then full gallery and highlight film at the same time in 3 or 4 weeks

For things like that, I take photos on my camera while a GoPro mounted in the hotshoe records the video.
