Me 3. I have a few 39gs, and have been searching for a head to head comparison online for months. Surprise no one has done it since they are the 2 most notable of their kind. Oddly enough, Elgin recently pulled the Thumper from Amazon.
@ajbfwb EXACTLY what lead me here. Anyone that actually has been into speakers for any amount of time knows very well that Noxgear makes hands down the best wearable speaker. Why does NOBODY have a comparison? The only reviews for anything that isn't a 39g I can find are just from people that either randomly bought some Amazon wearable speaker, or they got sent one for free and did a review on it. Obviously this guy isn't "in to" wearable speakers because he said this one is unique because of the angled speaker....I bought my first Noxgear probably like 4 years ago and they did it well before anybody.
The one thing it seems no one can compete with noxgear on, is the control scheme/ navigation buttons. That said, the 39g and thumper seem to be the 2 most compelling clip on BT speakers on the market.
I've had this for a while now and it has a fatal flaw: when you make phone calls, it isn't smart enough to cancel the audio from when whoever you are calling is talking. They always echo to themselves on their end of the line. The audio quality isn't noticeably better than the DeWalt and real World application and if I could go back in time I would buy the DeWalt a second time (lost one) instead of this one.
Thanks for review honestly the thumper looks pretty good but would've liked it without the flashlight feature.doesnt seem something i would use on a daily basis. 🤔 the angled speaker makes total.sense though
I think the flashlight is one of those nice-to-have features. You might not use it, but when trying to decide between speakers its presence might tilt the odds in favor of the Thumper.
Really would love to compare to the dewalt. I had the DeWalt and I loved it, but unfortunately I think it fell out of my truck somewhere when I opened a door and now it's gone 😭😭😭 there are a lot of other options but I use mine mountain biking so it needs to be tough
@@BoxesUponBoxesReviews might just have to try it if I can't find mine. There are a ton of options about half of the price of either, but I would assume I would end up breaking them.
I don’t demonstrate the speakers for you during my reviews because that doesn’t make sense to me. The sound would be affected by my original source recording, the speaker, my microphone recording the speaker, the encoding algorithm of my recording device, the encoding algorithm of TH-cam, and whatever device you are using to consume it. Anything you hear wouldn’t be representative of what the speaker actually sounds like and may not even be consistent from review to review.
@@BoxesUponBoxesReviewsthat’s why you do a comparison, like maybe the I’ll clip series so we have an idea because most people would be familiar with the most popular clip on Bluetooth speaker
Noxgear 39G started this as the first wearable speaker a couple years ago. I’d be interested to see how well the Elgin measures up to my noxgear.
I'll be sure to review it if I get the opportunity. Thanks for watching!
Same like to see comparison ❤

Same, I have 2
I love the part when he showed us how loud it was

I haven't tried the Noxgear but I would love to review it one day.

So does that mean the speaker actually fires from 3 spots, both sides and the front??

I have tried both. I prefer Elgin.
