Sivamani and his drums are inseparable. He likes to talk more with his percussion instruments than verbally. But verbally also he is supremely expert in generating rhythm. He is truly a blessed artist. And he rightly says Rhythm is GOD ! His association with ARR must be 50 years old now. Their collaboration is still going strong ! God bless Sivamani and ARR.

My grandmother was traveling in the same train as Sivamani nearly 3 decades ago! Chennai to Bangalore Lalbagh Express. Apparently, he and his friends were playing their drums in the train!

As a music lover, when I started earning, I bought 3 CDs 1. Swadesh by ARR 2. Drums on fire by Shivamani and James Asher 3. Remember Shakti by John McLaughlin And there is one track named "Amma" (mother). When this episode is started he praised ARR's mother in such a beautiful way. Rarely we see such genius who excel their creativity and became famous but at the same time giving values to family and relations In today's scenario it is rare to such celebrities who can balance their professional and personal life. This is why these kind of people are rare. Being elastic success after success is a keen observation and Current generation should understand this and and learn how to be balanced during ups and downs of life. These episodes are just entertaining but also teaches points from these guys how to a human after all with all wealth and money. Thanks to O2India bringing these series live. Wonderful Episode, Sivamani Sir is always a treat to watch!! also a small little correction, That is where Sivamani sir starts explaining about the jingle bells and that further amazing groove, that is the track from PS Score A, called VT''s Play, and not the groove shown to compliment that explanation, the scene was not that sivamani sir was talkng about... That scene can be seen in PS1 where Nambi and Vt meet... and then vt's horse steals a cloth from one lady, and then Vanthiyathevan starts chasing that Horse, That time, that visual is the scene where that groove starts.. And sivamani sir said elephant walk because it was actually the arrival of Peruvettarayyar. Hope that helps, because the groove sivamani sir was playing and the groove that was shown in that scene are different. @o2india
