Check the creativity of AR Rahman and the kind of sound he is always looking for to give something different that is not done before at 14:45 and also at 15:15. Who would have thought an instrument can be used like that.....sheer genius AR Rahman and Shivamani.

And finally, amazing to see him play Dil Se, Chaiyyan Chaiyyan (wow), and Jiya Jale. Please bring on many more episodes with him. Cannot wait for Taal in next episode.
How he plays every groove and explained the usage of some special instruments has showed us their music creation in parts atleast if not entirely. Though how he mixes, records and edits the final cut is still a very technical thing to grasp for an average viewer, we still got to see how they set that basic rhythm grooves for every song and then add more layers of sounds to it is interesting and fascinating at the same time. Ofcrs, there are lot more elements like he said will be added to that basic groove until it gives a unique vibe of its own, that we all call the Arr’s vibe! Ofcrs, waiting for the magnum opus of Taal album and it is good that it got an entire episode for it as the movie had a lot to do with Sivamani too as a percussionist 🥁! Hope they all were covered in detail including the bgms and the famous western Taal se taal beat that now became a rage for trendy reels and memes in Instagram too. It’s such a happening bgm that even a whole generation of ppl who were not born during the 90s were embracing it even now shows how much Rahman’s music is eternal and only ages like fine wine!
