I used to go to the Arcada to see movies in the 70s and 80s coming down to St. Charles from Elgin. Grand old theater. Marvelous interior. They restored the Wurlitzer organ in the early 80s and it would be played between movie showings on Friday and Saturday evenings.
@@johnsagers8390 They are NOT all dead. Andy Scott is alive and well and keeping the OFFICIAL Sweet going. They regularly release new material (new single on the way in a couple weeks, actually) and tour throughout Europe.
The sweet really first of all this is not sweet I saw them in philly in 75 at the tower and I don’t even think there are no original members here Brian passed so this is not Brian on vocals.
There is no original member here. The only original member alive is Andy Scott, he has his own version of Sweet that tours a lot in Europe. His band is the original Sweet, the band that also had original drummer Mick Tucker in the band during the 80s. In 1975! Awesome, you have sure seen Sweet at the peak of their career.

I'm surprised he hasn't, he tried to sue somebody for selling a bootleg cd on eBay a few years back😂... I don't know how this lot are getting away with it...they are pretty good but they have some balls using the name.

There are/were two Sweet bands. Steve Priest was in California with this band. He passed away in 2020. Andy Scott is still in the UK with his band
