I remember the day when I first arrived in Colorado.. the wind was really crazy and all the little things were flying everywhere and hitting my jacket lol
that was more than ten years ago and I'm going back to Colorado as an exchange student!! I'm so excited to live there once again, especially this time without my parents 😆 your video is so helpful thank you!!!

Am into IT, startups and running, and considering leaving the big city and evaluating options where I can still keep some of the city walking lifestyle, and also have some good running trails. Boulder sounds pretty nice!
A lot of ppl talking about Austin but the weather seems way too hot. checking out Portland and Seattle areas too

If this is you…. You will thrive here…. Startups everywhere… I’m a developer of 31 years now :). This town has more tech jobs per population than any place ive lived or visited. Sure Dallas, Jan Jose has crazy number of jobs…. But, for 100,000 you will be blown away by IT here. Then you have within walking distance the Chautauqua :) Flagstaff, and everyone bikes here and the bike paths will blow you away. Like craft beer, no better place in the entire country.

sukosuko1 I'm in Austin. It has it's charm but it lacks mountains anywhere near by and four seasons. I don't mind the hot spring/summer I just wish we had a proper winter.

Nice video! I have been here a few years and love it. I agree with the pros! I love how quiet it is here. I live not far from downtown and fall asleep to the sound of the creek when it flows. Some more cons would be no beach and no beach near by , Pearl St. being the main mall but the pricing of most shops are astronomical, lots of space I feel could be much better utilized (the whole area of Safeway on 28th/Araphaoe, the "shopping center" across from Sprouts between Canyon and Folsom (mostly banks, nail shops, insurance agencies or unoccupied). I have seen so many businesses and restaurants close down on Pearl St. that I have lost count, which can be a pro. Exciting to see what new is coming, unless it isn't... lol. Thanks for this

Give me a call 303-587-9440 we can discuss your situation. I’d say look at an area within 15-20 minutes of Boulder. But that depends if you’re going to have a car.

So I currently live in Kauai, HI but we are thinking of moving next year to Colorado. I know you said Colorado is expensive but how does it compare to Hawaii?
I also don’t smoke weed so I am a little concerned about fitting in. I know you said not everyone does but would you say majority of people do?
    Thanks!

Great question! I think Hawaii is quite a bit more expensive than Colorado is.
I don’t smoke weed either and there are PLENTY of people who don’t smoke. You’ll definitely find a good crew of people who don’t smoke. Feel free to give me a call or shoot me a text and we can talk through it more!👍🏼

Boulder was great back in the 70's! However, it has almost doubled its population since then and is full of "outsiders." Another good place in Colorado that has gone to hell over the years.

Sucks now, all Californians. Boulder used to be very unique place where magical things happened. Now it's exactly like every over priced place. Starbucks every block same stores same vain people. You are better off avoiding this place unless your a white guy named Brad from South Californian. If you like the mountains plenty of more affordable normal places along the front range. The days of weird Boulder Steven King and hippies are long gone. Boulder is the Poor man's Aspen and it's heart breaking.
