@@BlakeTheNerd First of all, it loads better on Nvidia cards so you'd need a really good one for this stage. AMD works as well, but has to be even better x'd

TECHNICALLY the actual arcade version of this game is a PC game, just running on specialized hardware designed by Sega and Intel... Arcade Future Tone (AFT)'s data has been dumped long ago and it can run on any PC running Windows 8 or higher with a decently modern CPU and decently modern NVidia graphics. No I won't link to where you can get it... That's what Google is for. I have the aforementioned arcade data dump and it runs great on my spare PC that has an Intel Core i5 3570 with 8 GB of RAM and a GTX 1060. I built an arcade cabinet from a kit from MicroCenter, and it's almost the same (albeit some timing issues here and there) as playing at a Round 1 or if you have an actual Arcade Future Tone machine sitting in your room... Now if you're gonna ask the legality of all this? It's grey area at best. As long as you play offline you can also stream it if you so desire to... TL;DR: There's been a PC version of Project Diva made by Sega since 2013 (and since 2010 or so if you factor in the original Project Diva Arcade), and Mega Mix+ is pretty much just a cash grab and an easier way to get Project Diva on PC... I don't understand why they didn't just license the literal PC version that runs in arcade across the US, Canada, and Japan to run on generic PCs via Steam, but I digress... Now am I saying that MM+ is a bad idea? No it's not, but it's a port of a port and it's getting redundant and lazy of Sega.
I was SO excited to finally play a Project Diva game since I don't use any consoles, I'm PC only, and the absolute pain I felt when some of my favorite songs were. So laggy and impossible to play. So much pain.......
I played the arcade cabinet future tone made to work on pc two years ago and I had a constant 60fps on any song...the frame drops are concerning since thus game runs most on pre-recorded video effects
I never played this before, and every videos I see are from people that have been playing for years. Kinda rough, I really don't know if i'll like it. I did buy it just now though. I guess i'll figure out if I like it by myself lol
