funnily enough this actually took a decent amount of work! PSP corruptions are EXTREMELY fragile in their current state so a lot of my pre-stream planning was about finding the perfect mix of settings that wouldn't automatically explode the emulator
I think its fascinating that you can see when they spawn a new version of the character, after so long with them having crumpled and disappeared into the ether. Its not an attempt by the game to correct anything, its just a point in the song where typically the first version of the character would despawn and a new instance spawned in. Or an entirely new area is loaded, which would need the character also spawned in. Edit just cuz; Even within the same area, it has to be a new spawn of the character, because we see many long periods of time with the writhing amalgamate having drifted off, with all sorts of camera angle changes that would normally be on the character dancing but nothing is there. So its not a matter of unfolding and repositioning the character for certain shots. Unless, for unknowable reasons they *do* uncrumple them for certain shots but not others, rather than spawning in a new instance. It makes more sense to me for it to be a new instance with its own set of actions rather than directing a single model to do all of it.
