I hate to be a Debbie Downer but I am very suspect when I see perfect results like that and we haven't been kept in the process. I know what it's like to have my hair coloured beautifully buy a stylist and you walk through the door looking exactly like that. Hair softasilk freshly blown out and the colour is spot-on. I know that some people get extremely lucky but that is not an easy colour to access on your own from black hair. Almost impossible I might say especially the first time around.
No do everything wrong & you’ll definitely get his attention may not be good but it’ll be attention. So basically what I’m saying is use T18, start at the roots, do not section, do not use foils, absolutely use 40 volume for 1 hour on pre lightened damaged hair, make sure your hair is stretchy when your done, then when you’ve bleached it 3 times in a row put black dye over it, and then say “it’s so perfect!”

That second girl is right. The “toners” that are available to the unlicensed public really don’t come in levels. They’re all level 8-10, and usually the info about what level it is isn’t even available on the box. Their are Demi permanent hair dyes, but they’re not labeled “toner”, and there usually aren’t many blonde options, compared to the bottles labeled toner.
Yes!! So true. I actually had to buy a blue demi to mix add to the level 8 demi color that I bought for my mids and ends, and a demi green to add to the level 6 demi color I got for my roots. They make us really work for it when we’re the ones that know less about this stuff.

Hiya just here to say that my birthday was on Friday and I got my hair done! I donated 14inches and raised more than €800 for a charity called the Laura linn. While watching the video Brad mondo did for Charlie d’amilio I fell in love with it! So my cousin came over ( she’s a hair dresser) and did it for me and can I just say it’s such a big change I went very short as in my hair was down to my butt and now it’s above my shoulders!!! Thank you Brad and all the people who donated for such a great cause!

Dude I stg no matter how your hair looks the people at Sally’s will recommend T18! I went in there like “I can’t use it cause my hair isn’t light enough but watch this girl recommend it” and that’s EXACTLY WHAT SHE DID. I was like girl… this is why everyone uses t18 yall don’t know another toner???
I got recommended T-28 (for my sisters hair). But her hair ended up turning pale green since I forgot to remove the purple dye that was on her hair. T-15 ended up fixing that.
Hi sally employee here! It is very true, many co workers just resort to T18 and its a frustrating thing to see. There are many other options, it’s just the lack of education and knowledge. But also lack of good toners at sally compared to professional stores. I’m pretty sure only 2-3 brands carry toners there…

I give everyone props for trying balayage. I did highlights on my sister’s hair a few months ago and it took me all day (I’m not a hairdresser). I did alright but you could clearly see the lines lol.
I went from dark dark dark hair to white and then... Maaany colors followed (purple and green, ice mint, galaxy, hades blue, ice blue, purple and pink, in less than a year) ... I never screwed up thx to Brad Mondo. Last white attempt ended up into a magnificent Cheshire cat look (purple on top with pink layer underneath) it was my second plan always have one. 4 months of giving nothing but love to my hair, I'm gonna get a vibrant orange without bleaching the roots. Had to compromise, look and healthy hair, so dark roots. So yes my hair has been saved more than once with this channel as much as it encouraged me to dare crazy hair.

This is pretty true. I work at Sally's and Brad has taught me more than work ever has. They have implemented new education calls with Wella, but the educators on there seem to not know what they sell and how to use it. Also upper management doesn't care enough to make sure everyone is included on those calls. So specifically store managers miss them and the same employee ends up seeing all of them when no one else does. My store manager still doesn't know what she's talking about most of the time. It's quite annoying.
I had seen so many videos on tiktok of people cutting a wolf cut, and it looked so easy, so I tried it. I really wish I had watched your video about the shag cut first omg. I did soo many things wrong. I didn't wet my hair and I just put it in a messy ponytail. Ofc it turned out terrible so I tried fixing it, but I cut too much off and it just made it worse. I think it was a combination of midlife crisis and quarantine but I love my blue hair. I have also been cutting my own hair for the last year following your tips and I feel fierce at 44.

I give everyone props for trying balayage. I did highlights on my sister’s hair a few months ago and it took me all day (I’m not a hairdresser). I did alright but you could clearly see the lines lol.
I went from dark dark dark hair to white and then... Maaany colors followed (purple and green, ice mint, galaxy, hades blue, ice blue, purple and pink, in less than a year) ... I never screwed up thx to Brad Mondo. Last white attempt ended up into a magnificent Cheshire cat look (purple on top with pink layer underneath) it was my second plan always have one. 4 months of giving nothing but love to my hair, I'm gonna get a vibrant orange without bleaching the roots. Had to compromise, look and healthy hair, so dark roots.
So yes my hair has been saved more than once with this channel as much as it encouraged me to dare crazy hair.

Probably not that employee's fault Sally's does a God awful job of actually training employees on proper color usage (like max there's an optional web training for it)
The last time I took advice from a sallys employee my hair turned green and the next day I went back crying that my blonde was muddy and green looking the manager ended up telling me that employees who arnt liscenced shouldn’t be giving advice 😭 lmao

This is pretty true. I work at Sally's and Brad has taught me more than work ever has. They have implemented new education calls with Wella, but the educators on there seem to not know what they sell and how to use it. Also upper management doesn't care enough to make sure everyone is included on those calls. So specifically store managers miss them and the same employee ends up seeing all of them when no one else does. My store manager still doesn't know what she's talking about most of the time. It's quite annoying.

I had seen so many videos on tiktok of people cutting a wolf cut, and it looked so easy, so I tried it. I really wish I had watched your video about the shag cut first omg. I did soo many things wrong. I didn't wet my hair and I just put it in a messy ponytail. Ofc it turned out terrible so I tried fixing it, but I cut too much off and it just made it worse. The whole time I was thinking like "damn, Brad Mondo would CRY if he saw this" Anyway, my mom is paying for the hairdresser now, and I'm even getting it dyed. I haven't gotten a haircut for over 3 years, so I'm so excited!
