I smoked weed when I was pregnant with my daughter, she came into this world a healthy, happy baby, she's 30 now and getting awesome grades in college! Cannabis does not, in any way, shape or form, cause harm to otherwise healthy babies

Im 24wks now and still on and off take s hit or two when the nausea/pain is kicking my ass. We just had our anatomy scan and she’s growing perfect and as active as her brother was. Im not worried-just if they try to involve legal stuff at birth thats what i worry about (trying to get it out if my system before L&D if i have to)
We need more time to study the long-term cognitive effects on babies, we do not know yet. But given the effects in older children, it stands to reason that there might be serious concerns
You’re not telling the truth pharma dude. Studies have been done. We already know Cannabis conditions brains. It enhances brain development in unborn babies and in general. Cannabis is 100% safe and not only not harmful, it is beneficial to brain development and all vital organs. And I’m talking about the THC. CBDs are great too. Zofran is a perfectly safe medication I took in early childhood and adulthood and now in pregnancy. So much better than poisoning our lungs before they even get a say. 😢
Self hypnosis has helped me as I delivered half of my babies. However, during my last it was an emergency c-section and I had a hard time focusing enough to do the self hypnosis. Still, the medication helped me relax.
@@MedicalSecrets it went well. The doctors and nurses were all amazing. They saved me and my baby. It did take quite a while for me to be able to get back up and going as much as I usually do.
What are the effects on the fetus if the mother quits immediately? Thc metabolite is stored in fat cells, so will it affect the newborn as the mother “detoxes”?
Just save that joint for after the baby is born. It will be worth it! Its just 9 months. First 3 months are very important. No bad drugs. For the love of your baby, that little sacrifice.
@@tanya3555 thanks for sharing your experience! i am choosing to smoke with my 3rd because i physically can’t get off the couch without throwing up. there’s no way i can take care of my kids or myself in these first few months without a lil cannabis to stop the nausea. it’s the only way i can hold down any food.
What about medical use/CBD and not thc is there any or more info on that? I have Tourette’s and chronic pain and I could definitely go without smoking/getting intoxicated that’s not the issue, but my pain is already unbearable sometimes and my tics are better than when I was a teen but every now and then I have a bad day

Im still very early in the pregnancy and im only 17 something happened and my parents now want me to keep it knowing what happened to me and if i keep it i want to make sure he/ she will be born healthy but im afraid I’ve already fuked up before i found out
