FAQ *1. Why didn't they just drive through the ambush?* *2. Why are Ukrainian soldiers wearing American patches?* *3. Sabaton* *A1.* I asked myself that question because it wasn't obvious from his email why they didn't and I neglected to ask about it in my follow-up email. I suppose he might have expected my own military knowledge would fill in the blanks. The only thing he did say is that they didn't fire on the medevac vehicle, which is likely the reason it was the only vehicle able to drive away. But after considering it, unless their SOPs for that situation were in fact to engage with the enemy (which seems unlikely during a medevac), the possible reason is that rubber tires don't hold up well against 12.7mm machine gunfire. Until I can get clarification back from Cap, I can only assume the first vehicle was crippled and unable to continue driving. I didn't want to animate that as an obvious fact in case it wasn't true. Once the first vehicle was down, whether the rear vehicle was also crippled or not, I doubt it was the standard operating procedure at that point to abandon half his platoon to die, so they stayed on to protect them and engage with the enemy. And also, as much as these stories drag out for minutes in the retelling, it's likely all of this happened in a matter of seconds, with the rockets completely disabling the vehicles. *A2.* The American flags seen on various Ukrainian soldiers' helmets in this video are simply IR (infrared reflective) patches, used for nighttime identification with NVGs. They were possibly purchased from or supplied to the Ukrainian Army from the US, hence the American flag. They are very common patches among US forces and are available for purchase online to anyone. Any chance you can turn this vid in to a fundraiser for medical supplies for the people of Ukraine? I know that you spend a lot of time creating these amazing vids, but at least you're not getting shot at. Tastefully done, by the way. Thanks.
@@Tu49 I mean, who would say no to that? I certainly want to believe. Just have to see how those stories pan out. Because of the obscure nature of war, past legends like that (i.e. Simo Häyhä) can often only report their own kills, along with confirmation from their comrades. And their kills are often verified by the enemy bodies being recovered and recorded. The Ghost is hardpressed to provide evidence of his actions, and I would wonder if he ever would. Do men like that seek fame? I have no idea how they would verify who shot an enemy plane down unless someone came forward to report it. And in either case, I imagine both men would remain very much out of the public eye for some time.
@@WartimeStories if you do tackle the Ghost, I recommend reaching out to Lucas Ricciotti, he does great musical scores for Ace Combat, DCS, and the like as well as doing a tribute to The Ghost themself
I am Russian, living in Finland for 30 years now, I have a family, kids. Life wasn’t easy at first, hearing how much Fins hate Russian, kids calling ather kids ”ryssä”. Now as things have been going well, this shit had to happen, now we Russians who live abroad, working, paying taxes, going to armies, plegde the oath, getting citizenships etc. getting so much hate for that Putin doings. We are all against that war, I even have relative on both sides fighting each other, on BOTH sides relatives, this is so fucked up…. my wife is half Ukranian half Estonian, I have Ukranian blood in me. Our families have been living in such a shame and stress over this situation. I am so sorry and ashamed that this happening to Ukraine and I hope people will find understanding and try to hate us ordinary people who just want to live in peace. Stay strong.
Russian citizens should not be geting the brunt of the west being kicked off the swift system, I mean geez, the west wants to kick even ordinary Russian people not even a part of this conflict off the internet and sites for just being Russian
I was speaking to a Vietnamese gentleman in December. I was somewhat surprised, but no less saddened to hear that even among his own family, and even after almost 50 years, there remains a hatred between those of his family members who supported North Vietnam in the war, and those who supported South Vietnam. There is likewise hatred still in America regarding a Civil War that happened over 150 years ago. I know why evil exists in the world. But as you say, I hope people will find understanding and bring this conflict to an end.
Do you think it's possible that just one (or more) of those Russian soldiers went off and somehow saw his comrades as enemies? It is possible that someone can just snap in such a high-stress environment like war.
@@stumblin_bummblin9774they mistook British fishing boats, shadows, each other and probably even oddly shaped waves as Japanese torpedo boats and began shooting. Of all the shots they fired (inching the one battle they were in) I’d bet more than half the ones that actually hit were friendly fire
A recent video submerged from a Russian drone capturing Ukrainians retreating to a trench and are met with friendly fire by people down the line, after that grenades starts flying and total chaos ensues. So I wouldn't be surprised if something similar happened here even tho it wasn't the same type of terrain.
Very likely... Fog of war is a real thing, and It wouldn't surprise me if, in the middle of the chaos, a russian soldier mistook one of his comrade for one of the dismount from the btr, shot him, and one thing leading to the other they all believed that the ukrainian dismounts were in the middle of them and they ended up all shooting each other... That would be the most rational explaination.
I Bosinan Croat war veteran. During 1993 war against Bosnian Muslims we where attacked so one our platoon was in front of line. We lost communtation with them. So they retirite toward our lines. But it was very hot and we where 2 month in combat without Rest and Food and Water shortage. So when they approach to our postion they open fire on as we also open fire on them. Before we figure out that we are shooting each other 5 men died and 25 was wounded. That icident was Cover by our High Command. War is hell and can bring men mind to flip in second.
Istina.
So there is a theory that exists around other situations that have similar components. One note that was made in Vietnam was a hallucinienic affect that happened to those around flame throwers. The theory that came from this was the flames/heat aerosoled fungus or similar organic material that had hallucinigenic properties, and was inhaled by those around them. As the Russian forces were in the forest, they possibly could have been exposed to this in the immediate area. I cavate this with that there is no substantiating proof, only theory and hypothesis here.
I doubt it 1. The bumblebee is a self contained weapon, no chance of the gas escaping the weapon unless it was defective and even then it might not fire. 2. Even if that is the case, why were all the men affected at once. Once again just a theory
But the thermobaric rocket only exploded after they flew far from the firing position. It's just plain impossible for this heat-sensitive hallucinogenic fungus to activate considering that the explosion MUST happen far enough from the firing position for safety consideration alone. It is a theory sure, but it makes no sense, in Vietnam scenario, we see the fact that the Amis use portable flamethrower, where the heat begun as soon as the fuel left the pressurised spray nozzle, so the heat may began from near the G.I, but the nature of thermobaric rocket doesn't support your theory.
It is a Rocket with Thermobaric warhead. Not a literal flamethrower like in vietnam where fire is sprayed out from the nozzle. The former weapon system is nicknamed as flamethrower.
Thank you so much, man. For treating us with respect in our struggle for our freedom. We stand against the overwhelming forces of evil, trying to destroy our identity, language and culture and subdue us. If we fail, there'll be more evil in the world and the world is not prepared for that. We're taking the major hit on us, ensuring peace for the whole Europe. It was a great story, brought tears to my eyes.
It reminds me of the scene in Predator, where Dutch( Arnold) asks Billy what happened to the previous task force. Billy said it doesn't make sense ,that they were shooting in all directions.
Wow. This was the most impactful story I’ve heard thus far. I really appreciate the stories that are submitted, and wartime stories for your incredible art form. Just amazing.
I coudnt let go of this story...it took me almost 4 hours of digging but i found tiny pieces of evidence in the Reports of the AFU about a small group of soldiers from the 31st been killed by an unknown force mid fight....possibly self inflicted....ITS A TRUE STORY....IM SO AFFRAID
I think @robertbismark347 is talking nonsense. How would the Russian have known that it was a unknown force, and not just the Ukrainians. Even if they send out a search party, they would just discover that they have been shot. And the Ukrainians only know what happened.
Guys,I don't know what you expect...it's a over 200 side long report over who did what in that time frame. But it include sensitive Material and that the main reason I can't go into detail. But if you look for yourself, with all the data from this video you can easily proof that everything he told you was real.
There are bible stories where God turns the enemies against themselves ...that may have happened here as God has his Elect that must live until his return soon.
@@luffebassen actually, if we go by reliable statistics, the Ukrainians are inflicting a casualty rate of roughly 2 Russian soldiers for every 1 Ukrainian soldier. However, the numbers are probably even more skewed in Ukraine's favor due to being able to treat their wounded more effectively. Also if we go by Ukraine's numbers, which so far have been pretty reliable, that 10x loss ratio is in Ukraine's favor.
@@gamermccoolman9312 HAHAHAHA okay if you want to believe direct nonsens, then there is no reason to talk. Russia has 3x the population of Ukraine. Russia has manufactoring of Tanks, Nukes, Super sonic missiles. Planes and ALL kinds of equipment under the Sun. Ukraine has ZERO!!!! They rely on supply from NATO and also money from the West. As soon as this stops, then the war stop. Russia has 10x the amount of artillery and YET you want people to believe that will ALL of this, then Ukraine are still inflicting more damage with fantasy power?? 😂🤣 Just keep playing COD. You clearly are not suited for talking about real world stuff.
Possibly the use of de-sensitizing psychological programming combined with amphetamine use for endurance and alertness combined with combat stress and adrenaline caused one or more of the SRGs to have a psychotic episode. Once one or two started shooting at each other, the others thought it was a counter ambush and panicked.
That doesn't explain how all 8 killed each other. If one man acted psychotic then the rest would shoot his direction and kill him and he would manage to kill maybe a few of his comrades. Unless the psychotic one killed 6 of his comrades and the last 2 soldiers standing managed to fire their last shots at exactly the same time and both hit each other killing the last 2 remaining soldiers in the group. Not likely.
This was well-timed and well-told. What an eerie thing. The only guess I have is that the Russians might have hesitated about killing the soldiers that got out on foot from the medivac vehicle, leading to a dispute in the ranks which escalated. We'll never know. Thank you to Cap and Luke for sharing the story. Cap, stay safe and I hope this madness ends soon.
This war... feels wrong. Why are the UN and NATO acting as they are? Then there's that oil pipeline that "mysteriously" failed... and the only military anyone has been able to link to it is.,... the US?!?!? Something is off here, we don't know what it is, but I'm not hopeful that it will turn out to just be nothing special. Will it be the "end of the world"? Is Doomsday coming? Doomsday may in fact be close at hand. "Repent ye workers of iniquity!" and all that stuff.
@@marhawkman303 I never saw a war that felt right. There's no question it's being artificially prolonged. After the two-decade-long Afghan boondoggle ended, US military contractors needed another payday, and by God they've found one. Now the hawks are calling for the US to give Ukraine F-16s. I'm sure those same hawks will be all *surprised Pikachu face* when Putin drops a tactical nuke.
@@Libbathegreat OOhh... hadn't thought of that angle. I'd temporarily forgotten about how many people Joe threw under the bus and left to die in Afghanistan. So many people who suddenly had nothing to do... yeah.... good point.
That makes sense, when they got quiet the first time they were probably having a really distracting conversation like maybe the leader lost their minds and was saying some insane stuff.
This is similar to my thought, caravan was medical in nature and perhaps some of the Russian force disagreed with engagement. They typically take orders well though.
Only thing that makes some kind of sense to me is one of them suddenly mistook a comrade for an enemy, shot him, then spooked everyone else who all started firing at each other.
@@darius_alex2043 Maybe they momentarily tried to figure out what was going on and thought they were infiltrated or betrayed, panicked, and all fired at each other. It was in the dark afterall. I do doubt that it was supernatural, but that’s not out of the question either.
If that happened like that then it would be extremely improbably for them to put at least 5 rounds into eachother right? If they started shooting at eachother out of panic you would think there’s be a point where there’s only 2 left at which point 1 of them would kill the other or they both realize it’s FF and stop shooting at each other. Unless they stood in a circle and pointed their guns at the person to their left and shot at the same time? But then that wouldn’t explain the 5 rounds if all of them shot simultaneously someone would have recieved fewer wounds. It’s possible the last guy received multiple wounds that weren’t immediately fatal, finished off his own squad, then bled out perhaps… My thought is I wonder if any of the wounds appeared self inflicted. He mentions that they took 12.7mm fire which means there was a machine gunner in the squad. That guy would have had an ammunition belt long enough to take out his own squad easily. I would speculate that perhaps it was a fragging-suicide incident by the machine gunner maybe. By the way the narrator described the scene, it felt like he was describing something especially grisly. A body that’s taken 5 ak rounds to the chest wouldn’t really be a particularly “spectacular” sight (for lack of a better word) for someone fighting in war. It would just look like a couple holes in the uniform soaked in blood. rounds of 12.7mm which is the Russian equivalent to 50 bmg would scoop out fist sized chunks, 5 of them would totally mangle someone, collapse the chest cavity, or expose organs. Fragging incidents are not unusual in the russian army, soldiers are treated poorly by superiors. Maybe the machine gunner decided to kill his squad mates for whatever reason, realized mid ambush that it was the best time to do so while everyone was engaging the BTRs, and started laying down hate on his own guys. Once a few guys start going down the rest of the squad figures out what’s happening and start focusing fire on him, inflicting a few wounds that are not immediately fatal, but by then it’s too late and MGer finishes them off. Then the guy either dies from his wounds or goes out on his own terms. This at least makes a bit more sense to me than all the guys beginning to shoot at eachother Mexican stand-off style, one guy with a machine gun engaging the rest of the squad could make quick work of most of them before they even realized what was going on, and it’s not impossible that the remainder of the squad would have been able to land a few shots on him too, assuming there’s 3-5 guys left focusing fire on him despite being suppressed. Maybe I’m reading too much into it or rambling but just a theory. Not a lot to go on here based on details provided so Im probably wrong.
The sabaton is giving me flashbacks to every piece of footage of Ukrainian armoured vehicles charging over road blocks. Love the channel. Hang in there Ukraine
I'm reminded of an extremely good supernatural movie called R-Point where our main characters (a South Korean unit deployed in Vietnam) nearly kill each other because they're (maybe) hallucinating ghosts and don't recognize each other. From the way Cap described it, it sounds like the SRG's thought something was coming their way, they fired, they thought it was still coming, and then may have accidentally killed each other in a crossfire with something they *thought* was there in their midst. Makes about as much as sense as anything else in this odd, senseless scenario. I definitely believe Cap; I 'm just as baffled as he is.
Even David defeated Goliath with a stone...holy Christ, that made my hair stand on end. God bless Cap, God bless all the Caps who are standing in front of an enemy army to defend the defenseless.
EXCELLENT STORYTELLING by you & Cap! Such a tragic string of events but very well done! I pray for all of the men, women, and children that are suffering & experiencing such tragedy, pain, and loss! Stop the war! Stop the violence! Stop the slaughter!
Holy, this episode got me emotional. My heart goes out for both the Ukrainians fighting for life and land, and for the poor, delusional or naive soldiers who were blatantly lied to before being sent into this hell.
You and this channel are literally taking the side of the corporate media. The current leaders of Ukraine are avowed socialists and are pro-globalist NATO (and also lynch ethnic Russians). While Putin represents traditional morality and values, and is against sexual degeneracy. I don’t know about you, but I am taking the side against globalism socialism, and the side that is for traditional values. While I disagree with Russia’s tactics (I think they should just have taken Donbass), they are still fighting against the spread of globalism...

@@jennnava2769 Ukranians and those who support them wouldn't think this story is heartbreaking. So yes I would say so. By your logic we should honour the German that fought for their country in WW2 even though cause was absoloutely immoral.

i'd wager a guess that something paranormal happened, like the spirits of the dead in the platoon cap was in kinda just took over their bodies and had them kill each other.
@Ekdrink as I said, not suggesting it was definitely the UK SAS, but any country's equivalent. I wouldn't put it past the Russians to have had their own special forces do it, if they were trying to cover up something in the area.
Thank you Luke and thank you Cap for this amazing story and narration. I will leave you both with two quotes "When the rich wage war, the poor who die" "Only the dead have seen the end of war.” God Bless us all !
So true my friend a lot of wealthy American politicians have been using the Ukrainian people and country as there playground causing pain and suffering inciting this conflict
The outro brought me to tears, and I thank you for featuring all the voices impacted by this war. The Ukranian and Russian people are going to go through hell and back, and for what? There's no words for it. I'll pray, for as much good as it will do. And as always, I commend you for your storytelling. This channel in particular is unique for how you've created this place where people who have been/are going through war can share their story in a very personal manner. The dropback will always be politics, but the individual stories are not a *feature* to political commentary that we might find in journalism. It's just stories in and of themselves. I don't really know how to phrase it beyond it feels the most human to me, less abstract than talks about strategies and predictions and global impact etc etc etc. So the manner of storytelling, along with your narration and sfx is beyond outstanding. I hope this channel sees even more success, and I hope to be able to become a patreon myself once I have the means. Keep up the thoughtful and amazing work.
The Russians get land they occupy, as well as home appliances and other things they loot from civilians they murder. What bubble are you living in ? We are defending our homeland and families. That's our "for what"
It’s the fault of the Russian people for allowing Putin to be in power and not doing anything about it, so don’t feel bad for Russians it’s their own fault

Considering the nature of the channel I feel comfortable saying this: There's a lot of weirdness about this whole mess,Russia isn't for some reason quite winning so easy and while that could be because of a very determined bunch of people fighting for their land....what happened in this story might also be a partial explanation of why that is. A lot of Ukraine's died because of Russia in the 30's...maybe those dead people don't want the land to fall back into Russian hands.

Timely. I'll say, listening to that translated message from the Russian soldier. Holy shit. Good luck to the Ukrainians, and let's hope the Russians get orders to pull back soon.
Sounds like tensions in the unit may have already existed, and a fight between the leader and one of his subordinates got out of hand. He shot him, in return he was shot by another team member, and it quickly went south. Wouldn't say it's paranormal tbf. War is mentally exhausting, everyone has their limits.
shit when you say quickly went south at the end id say when the first one got shot either a sub or the commander who knows but when that happened likely they were near each other so there was a group who maybe got hit the the rounds when the commander sprayed the sub guy likely tagging the other which resulted in the others returning fire for being reckless and that who shit went south was like INSTANTLY spray wait what happened ohhhhh shit spray scream spray spray spray silence once they kinda teamed up on each other it was like angle shooting where you had to find the next guy but he got you then they got him and by that time everyone was hit
I may not know the full details on what cause this war (as of now) but knowing that civilians are being targeted is beyond disrespect on a soldier's code of honor, let alone breaking rules of engagement.
Russia is a dying nation with dwindling population and fragile economy. In addition, Putin thinks NATO is a hostile force and wants to secure the eastern border of russia, which was left in shambles after the collapse of USSR. So why invade Ukraine, specifically now: 1. Prevent a large formerly-soviet nation from joining nato. 2. Pluck a massive hole in their defenses in east european plain. 3. Keep Ukrainian natural gas reserves underground, so they won't compete with russia. 4. Regain control of Ukrainian gas pipes, so they don't have to pay taxes for using them. 5. Secure Crimea, and their only port in the mediterranean. 6. Secure Putin's legacy as a unifier of USSR. 7. Do it while they still have money and manpower left. 'Course, he could've just tried to build friendlier relations with europe, but dictators be paranoid.
@Håkan Bergvall yes, it has been concluded without a trace of doubt that russia has been routinely commiting war crimes, russia started an unprovoked war and targeted civilians.

Yikes, Hail Hydra. I sadly recognize some of the sound footage in the end of the video because I have been following this war quite closely. Especially the part where there was 6 y.o Ukrainian girl who was killed and died in the hospital + the last message of a dead Russian soldier to his mom. Heartbreaking. May all the civilians that hate war are safe in this madness and the war can stop a.s.a.p. Another amazing video, man
I appreciate the Sabaton in the BTR. Nice touch. Only thing I can offer as an explanation is that maybe in the heat of the firefight, one of the Russians accidentally shot another, which caused the others to panic thinking that Ukrainians had managed to sneak up on/flank them or that there were traitors amongst them.
The most rational explanation I have is that at least more than one in the group was a turncoat, and between the sudden infighting everyone of them was hit, they could have been waiting until the fighting was nearly over to spring their attack on their comrades. Kind of like fragging.
Only thing is with the Russian SRT groups, they train side by side for years...they are a close knit unit. Somewhat similar to USSF, Rangers or SEAL team members. They train and hone their "craft", so they become one fighting unit, depending on each other. Is it possible they turned on one another ( possible can't rule it out)...but the screaming and automatic weapons fire ...at one another...especially among a highly trained group such as them...leads many questions to the unanswered...wth happened?
@@davidjames7382 I found a comment saying that there might be another special forces of Russians that came by and friendly fired them on accident. my opinion is they were in the area of some kind of special operation and those operators heard the commotion , came to see what was going on, and ended up assisting the pinned APC then left before being discovered.
Yeah but how do you explain the wounds? The way they describe the bodies being shot by each other.. like what would’ve caused that?? Crossfire is one thing but whatever it was would have to be moving super fast between solders for them to hit each other so badly but not hit whatever it was they were shooting at..Yet there wasn’t anyone or anything else there with them in the death zone, just Russians

Not a mystery. He said his command was suddenly ordered to secure a medivac waypoint. He got no real further details...so they were covering a SF black op team that was evacuating a target. His BTR was hit exactly where it was expected to be hit. The SF team likely saw a Russian ambush position and waited for their support to draw attention, then they quietly walked up with their night vision and unloaded on the Russians before continuing their extraction.
I'm loving the channel, loving the stories and how you tell them. The Bumblebee, fully known as the RPO-A Shmel or Rocket-propelled Infantry Flamethrower-A Bumblebee, is a strange weapon. Some do consider it a rocket launcher, and technically that's true as it's similar to a LAW or AT4. Single use, disposable. Unlike the LAW or AT4, however, it doesn't have a armor-penetrating warhead. Instead, it fires one of three different warheads. A thermobaric one, a incendiary one, and one that makes smoke. The thermobaric warhead explains the "flamethrower" part. For some reason, Russia likes to call thermobaric weapons "flamethrowers", which I suppose is true to a point. The way the firefight went also reinforces my and many other's belief that the Russians that are currently fighting in Ukraine are by and large third or second rate troops. Everything from the slow advance to the barely upgraded 1970s and 80s tech they're using to the fact they're letting vehicles with occupants whose intentions are unknown to get right up next to them. They just aren't fighting as well as they should if they were frontline troops. Also, it's not just the Russians that use it. China (under license), North Korea, Georgia, India, Syria, Vietnam, and even Ukraine to name a few. Slava Ukraini.
yes, tbh i'm confused why the so called "invasion" is actually failing really bad i think maybe it was an operation after all they said the troops that were sent never expected or were told there is no invasion in planning so most were unprepared also their airforce wasn't deployed after the 1st cruise missile strike against the AA defense targets idk if putin i going senile or he's planning to lose or just faked an invasion to get some political talk going (didn't happen yet)
As someone with 0 experience in combat, my initial reaction was that blowing up a vehicle full of guys and hearing them burn alive, and then being told to execute the remaining survivors who survived the second blast would cause a refusal from me. I imagine the russian military doesn’t take kindly to “no”. There’s your conflict amongst the group. Idk tho they sounded like badass super assassin killers idk why there would be a moral issue brought up at THAT moment. It’s strange but i don’t think anything supernatural happened.
The Russians in a moment of sudden self-awareness, self-destructed. A crisis in an epiphany of knowing they are the bad guys. Sounds unlikely, but stranger things have happened.
What? This is the army and they were at war. That's what they sign up for, to kill. It's not like they opened fire on a school bus full of children, they were firing at enemy soldiers. A reality check once in a while never hurt nobody, I recommend one. smh
I love the video. The way is was done was very real. I don't see the bias others have tried pointing out for the video or the broadcasts at the end. The reports felt more like an eerie continuation of the end of the email.
This story reminds me of the Predator movies and the fact that this same situation has happened durning every major war in the 20th century...... To me it seems like maybe the Russians soldiers where ambushed by something invisible and would explain to a point why they started shooting at each other as the thing attacked them... What if the Predator movies where based on military stories like this? And the fact UFO sighting just about triple durning war time who's to say that only humans enjoy hunting and the fact no footprints where found makes me think who or what ever travelled through the trees which was also in the movies CRAZY!!!!
This used to be very common in russian/soviet war with Afghanistan and the first chechan war, because of the extremely brutal prison style lifestyles they lived since basic
I had friends that lived in an apartment building in Kiev. When they sent me videos of what was happened. There was one night when a factor got blown up and it poured thick black smoke into the sky only about a mile from them whilst they and other civilians were sheltered with a few Ukrainian troops in a temporarily office container on a construction site. I dont have words to tell you the emotion I felt knowing that this beautiful poet and unique soul was in that situation. They eventually made it to Poland and got resettled. But it took a very long time. Sadly i dont talk to them anymore. But every day I hope they are well.
Would be interesting to know if the Russian soldiers were very near or on (within) a site or area of a particularly nasty battle that took place during WW1.. 1917 if I’m not mistaken, unrecorded anomalous battle. Edit: I have no corroborating data or proof for the record, although I do believe truth is stranger then fiction, sometimes.
I thought about it and when they first were pinned down I think perhaps it may have been half the Russians. Tactical teams will split up for many reasons. The others may have shown up once the fighting already started. It just sounds like a military case of mistaken identity, which happens a lot in war. The first half thought it was Ukrainian backup and the other thought they were approaching Ukrainian soldiers and the Russians end up cutting each other down.
@@CurflanderHolyfield the the thing was that there was not footprint trace of an another group but like the problem with that claim is that how do they tell the difference is of a footprint that is different from the previous Russian group’s footprints
Those last few minutes are absolutely haunting. If the war teaches us anything, let it be that the politicians need to sit down and talk, and keep talking and only talking, until differences are reconciled and suitable compromise is agreed. Nobody on this planet, whoever they are or what title they hold, should be permitted the power to dictate to others or order other men and women to their deaths. Slava Ukraini!
Your channel continues to get better and better, brother. I’m curious as to why the Ukrainian commander didn’t use standard mounted infantry tactics though and just turn and assault through the ambush? Or, in a less aggressive move, just go full throttle and leave that LDA/Kill-zone? From what I’ve learned, the better choice is just to haul ass out of the danger area, note it’s position, and then call in Ass or direct fires on the target. Just my .02
I asked myself that question because it wasn't obvious from his email why they didn't and I neglected to ask about it in my follow-up email.
@@WartimeStories agreed on timing. Stuff feels like it takes forever when in reality it might be a few minutes or even seconds. I’m down with the idea of a disabled vehicle. That makes sense.

This is mindblowing, even if it's "just" a theory!
I doubt it

Yes but then why did they stop shooting for a few seconds before going balistic on each other?
It’s possible the last guy received multiple wounds that weren’t immediately fatal, finished off his own squad, then bled out perhaps…
My thought is I wonder if any of the wounds appeared self inflicted.
Maybe there was someone with Ukrainian family or sympathies in the Russian unit and he decided to take action? That’s assuming this is true

I hope this channel sees even more success, and I hope to be able to become a patreon myself once I have the means. Keep up the thoughtful and amazing work.

This channel is so underrated. I am so happy I discovered it. ❤
So why invade Ukraine, specifically now:
@Håkan Bergvall yes, it has been concluded without a trace of doubt that russia has been routinely commiting war crimes, russia started an unprovoked war and targeted civilians.

thanks for interesting story from Cap and for words of support. Stay safe, and hello from Ukraine, were still here and will be
I appreciate the Sabaton in the BTR. Nice touch. Only thing I can offer as an explanation is that maybe in the heat of the firefight, one of the Russians accidentally shot another, which caused the others to panic thinking that Ukrainians had managed to sneak up on/flank them or that there were traitors amongst them.
Yep, there was probably a dispute among them that had been building for a while and when one guy shot the other it spiraled out of control
Fog of war kinda situation.
I am confuse why this man didn’t share his story to the press otherwise I have a theory that the Americans were testing special physiological warfare against the Russians 🤷
my opinion is they were in the area of some kind of special operation and those operators heard the commotion , came to see what was going on, and ended up assisting the pinned APC then left before being discovered.
Good story, I appreciate your rationale neutral position. I’m sure we will see all sorts of comments from all the Ukraine and Russia experts from Reddit and there incredible insight from the 2 weeks they have spent reading about it on Twitter lmfao

Eastern Ukraine has been attacked by their globalist leaders in the capital for around 9 years.. Ukraine is attacking ethnic Russians mostly civilians but are citizens of Ukraine.. azov is especially fond of this.. along with torture and rape.. they consider anyone not ethnically Ukrainian as sub humans.. nato has been supporting them for years.. In Vietnam War these is a Bigfoot who attacked soldier
I hoped the director make a Vietnam War horror movie
Reminds me more of the M-202 Flash, if not in construction, in role.
@@gabrielinostroza4989 You know, I'd forgotten about the M202. Yes, it's pretty much that, just single use and can use a couple different warheads.

yes, tbh i'm confused why the so called "invasion" is actually failing really bad
i think maybe it was an operation after all
they said the troops that were sent never expected or were told there is no invasion in planning
so most were unprepared
also their airforce wasn't deployed after the 1st cruise missile strike against the AA defense targets
idk if putin i going senile or he's planning to lose or just faked an invasion to get some political talk going (didn't happen yet)
Perhaps 1st rate troops are waiting in the wings to swipe at NATO forces? Distract the world with the fighting in Ukraine?
As someone with 0 experience in combat, my initial reaction was that blowing up a vehicle full of guys and hearing them burn alive, and then being told to execute the remaining survivors who survived the second blast would cause a refusal from me. I imagine the russian military doesn’t take kindly to “no”. There’s your conflict amongst the group. Idk tho they sounded like badass super assassin killers idk why there would be a moral issue brought up at THAT moment. It’s strange but i don’t think anything supernatural happened.
Yeah we should be skeptical of supernatural stuff, it's unproven. Some supernatural stories are interesting though lol
A reality check once in a while never hurt nobody, I recommend one. smh
They have NO actually elite units. They are a myth.

Slava Ukraini!
Politicians..............There's the problem..................Bless..............
@@WartimeStories agreed on timing. Stuff feels like it takes forever when in reality it might be a few minutes or even seconds.
I’m down with the idea of a disabled vehicle. That makes sense.
