Just bought this kickstand a couple of days ago for my "24" Next Gauntlet. Installing it is simple, but unscrewing the screw to adjust the height is another story... I've tried an allen wrench and a phillips head screwdriver but nada. I have a sprained wrist so it makes it a bit difficult

Any suggestions? This is my first time actually installing a kickstand.

Mine has a hex head bolt on it, so I could use a wrench on it. Make sure you are turning it left to loosen it, and then turn it right to tighten it when you have it at the proper length. You might be able to use a vice grip pliers to get it loose.

I could most likely get one from Asda(uk) owned by walmart and they do sell "Bell" products and they seem from touchy feely solid products, if my lock packs up I think i will go for this brand cheap but solid... My current ebike build is front hub but my next project will most likely end up rear hub no disk brakes, I wonder if it would be suitable for a rear hub or like you say need a weld in there to stop it moving... and is there any alternatives to welding as I have no access to a welder?

I’m not sure how much clearance you will have with a rear electric wheel. If I ever build an electric bike again, I also will go with the rear wheel drive. The front wheel spins to easily. You can use JB Weld instead of welding things. It is a very strong glue designed to hold metal together. It has worked well for me in a lot of different situations. Here is a video I made about it. My mountain bike lower frame is not horizontal, it is at an angle. can I use this ?

You can’t adjust the angle. It might work if it isn’t too much of an angle.
