Yeah, it does happen with ScotRail with 158 and 170 combo, even Northern has started doing it now on Sundays. There'll be a class 158 that'll run between Scarborough and Hull. At Hull, the class 158 will couple onto a class 170 to run express to Sheffield. Many thanks Arnold :-)
Yes, filming is allowed at Edinburgh Waverley. But, you'll need to sign in at the Network Rail Station Reception office as you'll get a badge which allows you platform access :-)
