Superb video Ricky. Glasgow Central is a must see station. Which is the best platform Ricky. Thank you.

Platforms 8/9 are the recommended platforms. Also, have easy access to see trains departing from the other side of the station.
      Many thanks Tom :-)

Great trainspotting session. I liked this station a lot when I visited Glasgow for the first time in August of last year. Filmed my own TH-cam the video the morning that we left for London. You should give it a look. th-cam.com/video/S63rwJgsHnI/w-d-xo.html
I didn't realize that one could go far down on the platforms like you did if you weren't boarding a specific train. If I'm ever in Glasgow again I will need to do that. I love the ScotRail livery, so I much that I purchased an OO Gauge Class 158 consist. I noticed that there weren't any Class 158's caught in your video. As I live in the US, I'm not aware of ScotRail's service structure. Do they use the Class 158s in only certain parts of the country?
Gave the video a like and subscribed.👍

Glasgow Central is a beautiful unique station with the high and low level platforms. Oh yeah, the platforms you can walk down are quite far down to get shots of the variety of trains from different platforms.
Me too, the ScotRail livery and indeed the interior of the trains are truly beautiful and comfortable to ride along. Ah, so the class 158's sorry to say they don't serve Glasgow Central anymore. They used to between Edinburgh to Glasgow Central via Shotts before the line was electrified. The class 158's do serve Glasgow Queen Street station which is only like a 20 minute walk away from Glasgow Central. Great to hear you've got a class 158 to your 00 gauge railway.
The class 158's can be found in most parts of the UK with the only exemption is for London where the trains are worked by the class 159's which are very similar to the class 158's.
      Thanks very much :-)
