Aren’t back packer hostels cheaper than hotels? Bang your shoes on the floor, heel down, to dislodge spiders. You probably won’t get any if your shoes are indoors. Coles supermarket mobile sims, or Lebara, are waaay cheaper than Telstra. Hope the travels go well.
We couldn’t find any hostel that would have been cheaper than a hotel room, otherwise we would have gone there! Also because they usually come with a kitchen, which makes us save money as well! 😅 Thanks for the tip on how to dislodge spiders! 🤩 Unfortunately we had a huge huntsman spider inside our now apartment exactly yesterday night, so very happy to have been checking them since day one in Australia 😂 We needed a better coverage, firstly for the road trip we did (coming super soon vlogs about that) and also for what we are doing now (volunteering in a remote area) that’s why we chose Telstra. Thank you so much though 😍🥹 your tips may be helpful for other travelers with different needs!
@@matandangie Woolworths Mobile uses the Telstra network. Just no 5G. Yeh, Huntsmans are an indoor spider. They usually hang out up on the walls or ceiling.... don't get too hung up about spiders and snakes. Not really a big issue here 😀
Just a heads up Easter holiday/School holiday prices can often be triple the rate of normal, so if you're still going to be in Australia during this time you might want to book a little ahead. Best of luck :) 😃
Thank you 🙏 That’s actually a good tip! Perth though scared us so much that we had our entire trip in Australia planned and booked right after that 😅😂 and spoiler we’re spending Easter in a place where we’re actually not paying any rent 🤫
Hmm...too bad the nap pods at the airport were closed. Short of that, I would have put my packs at the luggage lockers and then hunt for place to sleep hypothetically. It is like solving a puzzle.
Nevermind about the sleep pods. Saw pics. and reviews online. Mistaken them for sleepbox where it is a lockable small box/room with a single bed and desk + chair.
As Italians we are big on coffee as well, but we kind of also like Starbucks, is just different from our espresso and cappuccino, but different doesn’t always mean bad. Plus it’s always a nice reliable place where to get work done with toilets and good WiFi. And nobody looks at you badly if you’re even staying for hours. Plus they have regular opening times not like your coffee shops closing at 5pm (if you’re lucky) 😅😒 Just our opinion though 😅

Buy a tent and sleep in that at night with a blow up bed and sleeping bag and a pillow. That's cheap and easy.

That could be the next move! Felt safer in the airport though! 😅

Oh so not really sleeping pods more like a bedroom situation? 🤔
Yeah anyway the hunting is always like solving a puzzle 😂😂
What an adventure. So much fun😊😊😊
Yesss we love to be a bit crazy from time to time 😅😂
75 years old Australian. I have never checked my shoes for creepy crawlies.
I can’t imagine finding somewhere to sleep at an airport. My partner has just said “oh that’s a great idea.”
Ahahahahhaha just try it! You may end up liking it, especially if you got a crazy enough partner to do it with 😅😍
Lol Starbucks sucks which is why it never took off in Australia. We have way better coffee than that.
