Barry Mandel: Thanks for being our Rainbow!

Discovery Green Conservancy announces the annual award given at Rainbow on the Green® will now be called the Barry Mandel Rainbow Honoree.
Mandel is retiring July 1. He spent his entire adult life advocating for the LGBTQ community and the performing arts in Houston. He created the annual Rainbow on the Green event because he wanted to create a place where families felt free and safe to be themselves.
