I've been afraid to buy a LTD, but i just picked up a KH 202 that was set for the junk pile, with a broken bridge p/up and thrashed frets, for $75.00. I leveled and re-crowned, and micro-polished the frets, and put a Seymour Duncan Pearly gates p/up in the neck, and a S.D. Screamin Demon in the bridge, and added a fat brass tone block to the F.R. Special. I have about 300.00 into it, and it's one of the most versatile sounding, fastest shredders I've ever owned. I love it! It plays better than my Ibanez JS1000, and that's saying something!
People need to stop saying ESP USA builds custom guitar. Because ESP custom is and will always be in Japan. ESP USA calls themselves select shop because customer can spec their guitar from limited number of selection whereas ESP custom can build almost anything.

Look at any Esp Japan......I am convinced those builders are beautifully insane. Literally whatever you dream, theyll build! *Anything* i mean they do call themselves "the one true custom shop" lol
Gibson Custom Shop will not build anything you ask but it s still a custom shop right?....

Just for my ESP USA Viper in purple and it is insane. The SS frets are so smooth and also I could not find one flaw on the guitar.

I have a 2011 ESP Eclipse and it blows away my Gibson LP! The craftsmanship is stunning.

Yeah I have 2 ESP LTD deluxe and they are definitely the best guitars I've owned. Besides my Washburn Dime 3 of course.

Wow!!! ESP!!!! Love this guitars. I just bought a ESP-2 HORIZON( sun burst) about a month ago wow!!! sounds great and the finishing is amazing. Love the neck smooth and slick hoocking up with all time. Thanks for the video.
I've seen a few left handed USA ESP guitars. Not many , however you'd want to say it. And they were stunning. But never seen one in person. I'd love to play one , though I could never afford one.

Hey I need some help with a guitar I have had for about 10 years it is a ESP custom , it looks like a streaking V I know it's from the late 80s and it's been painted and there is no visible s/n . I would love to have some one tell me it's value ..
I am lucky enough to own a Snow White ESP Eclipse. Fantastic guitar, made in Japan. It is a much better guitar than I am a player, I'll admit!

I have ESP E-II HORIZON 3 NT it was £1300 UK sterling now they are £1900 big jump in price for the same guitar , prices are going crazy

I plan on buying a USA Horizon for Christmas. Gonna get gloss galaxy blue with a Duncan Custom and Jazz. I dream about it and I’m gonna make it happen.
Buy an E II and you get the awesomeness without the extra high price,,,I have a few original, usa, and E II AND the E II are just as good.

No. Takamine is an independent company. ESP is the distributor for Takamine in the US.
Without stepping on any toes here, can someone tell me, when it comes to the quality of ESP Guitars made in Korea and Indonesia, what is the better of these two factories?
Also, how do these two locations compare to their other locations, such as the U.S.? Thanks
The Korea factory is where the top LTD 1000 models are made while the Indonesian models are the lower end.
Then you hit E-II which are Japanese production line guitars that are a step up in materials/fit and finish, but still use vanner tops.
ESP USA slots next where only premium materials are used. You aren't going to find a big difference between a USA Horizon or a Japanese Horizon in quality. You'll save at least $2k going like for like, but the USA shop only builds template guitars. Think of it like building a Mustang in Ford's website. You can change details, but you'll never be able to make a Mustang sedan or SUV.
The Japanese Custom Shop can build you anything you can think of and can build models the USA shop can't like a Mystique or a Snakebyte. It will also cost you a small fortune, so make sure it isn't something the USA shop can do.
I have two Ltd deluxe guitars, one is a 2018 Indonesian one and one is a 2019 Korea one and they both play great. I kinda like the Indonesia one a little better cause it's a M-1001 see through black and the neck is great. The Korean one I got through musicians friend and it's a mh-1000 and they are going for $1100 brand new now but when I got it I got a demo version for like $680 I think. The new price was $799 then it went up to $999 now with inflation it's even more. The Indonesian models are just as good as the Korean ones now. I guess at first the Indonesian ones weren't as good I heard but the quality is there now. I think the Indonesian m1001fr was $1099 new and I got it off reverb for $839 or something like that.

I've bought 2 ESP USA guitars and neither of them were worth keeping. They are about the same quality as the older ESP Standard guitars.
