Even though I’ve had armored Boba in my collection for a month now, your beautifully shot video helped me appreciate the figure and all the intricate details even more. I agree with your concerns about the accessories causing potential paint damage - attaching the knee rockets was so frustrating since it took way longer than it should have 😂 Pretty sure I chipped away some of the paint app too, so the secondary knee pad was a very welcome & much-needed inclusion. I remember you and Natasha did an overview video when this set was first announced - now that you have it in hand, what are her thoughts? Did this meet/exceed expectations? I’m sure you already caught 90% of what was shown, but I love detail work so much that I can’t help myself sometimes. 😅 I really did end up scratching the gauntlet, but I was more concerned about the smaller prongs breaking off. Dodged a bullet! Good question, there are a few changes from what I noticed since then: Some of the photographers made Boba appear a bit bloated and the portrait isn’t. It’s perfectly proportioned. I wasn’t sure what to make about the portrait/helmet, but the socket used to articulate and stabilize the helmet is awesome! It definitely doesn’t go over the head, lol! The robe adds a lot of weight to the overall appearance of Boba, not a fan of it, but it looks awesome over the armor. Lastly, the only noticeable difference with the portrait is the scarring on the left eyebrow versus what we have in hand. It isn’t as prominent, but it’s still there. 😄 Thanks again for watching, man! We appreciate the love! 😄🙏❤️

Love it, I got this recently along with Ahsoka (early Christmas, or belated Christmas 😂) and this set became the top in my collection, I gotta say the only issue I got is the lack of a left trigger hand but not for robbed Boba, but because I wanted the armored one to dual weild like Jango would BTW I think its insane that this figure has superior paint apps than the Premium Format, it looks like real weathering while the statue looks... well its not as good as it should be to put it mildly This set is amazing I can't get enough of it

TBH, I wasn't blown away with the headsculpt when I was holding it in hand. It's about 98% accurate, but lacking a little something. Maybe it's the eyes.
Interesting, he's still one of the pieces I look at in the display. Although, to your point, I have the light angled in a way where I can't see his eyes. It's all shadows.
Great video commentary. I'm looking forward to getting this in my collection but I'm more of wanting the throne. The pieces shown looks very fragile which will be staying in the box. 😂 But the details on both figures can't be disputed.

I love this set, the head sculpt alone is worth the price tag, in my opinion, i honestly think it is one of Hot Toys Star Wars line finest. The battle damage and weathering texture effects are top drawer.The base is also a reuse from the Death Trooper Specialists Deluxe release.😎
Wow, now that’s interesting! I don’t own the Death Watch Specialist, but I’d definitely love to. I’m guessing it looks a littler darker than Luke’s, right? Now I have to go search, haha! Hello there my favorite hot toys youtuber! Can you help me with something? I love the pose at 10:58, I basically bought the figure for this pose, I love when helmeted characters hold their helmets with one hand but I just can't turn his hand to this angle. What is the secret? I tried everything but my figure's hand just can't turn this much. Nothing is stopping the joint, just the sculpt of the hand itself. Am I doing something wrong? I know it's such a small problem but it's important for me
Heya! 😄🙏🏼 Yeah, absolutely! The trick is in the wrist joint. But I’ll try to write down the way I do it in steps. - In the shoulder, I swivel it to where the arm is facing behind the character. - Then I bend the arm forward to find a natural posture. - After that, you’ll want to bring the arm outward from the body so that the helmet can rest on the forearm. - The trick is in the wrist from here. After you find the posture you want, grab some pliers and twist the wrist joint until you can get the hand to point inward toward the body. After that it’s fitting the helmet in and you’re good to go. 😄 Hope this helps! 🙏🏼🍻

I finally had the time to pose figures and I had been trying for more than an hour now, I've accidentally dropped the helmet around 15 times on the rug so it's a miracle that the rangefinder is still not broken. I contacted the seller whether this means it arrived in Germany and is sitting in his warehouse (because then I would have travelled to him to pick Boba up), or whether Hot Toys has finished the production of the seller's batch and it is sitting in China, waiting for a container to be shipped from there. I already bought from this seller, and my Captain Rex also showed up just like that, pretty quickly actually. Never needed to contact him. Oh well...let's just play the waiting game. Guess my Boba Fett post-sarlacc costume will be finished before these dudes arrive.
