Sis you literally grew my hair the past 3 years. I've never had long hair and now my hair goes to my boobs. Constituency is really key 😭 I LOVE YOU SO MUCH
I started using natural products off Etsy like you recommended in one of your early videos. I started using homemade natural products too with fenugreek. I plaited my hair in 8 and would wear a wig, take down weekly to wash my scalp and deep condition, sometimes I didn’t even unloose the plaits, and my hair retained length like crazy and became stronger, might I add I have scalp issues that I treat with a prescription and even with that my hair thrived, keeping things simple was key.
I also found Etsy has the best actually natural hair products. Unlike a lot of what these major companies claim their products aren’t all that natural or well formulated for type 4 hair at all
That's what i am doing now. I have glueless wigs, at the end of the month i do a ACV rinse for my scalp, then a Moisturizing shampoo. Then i do a protein treatment and then a deep conditioner. I end it with leave in conditioner and seal my ends with grease. Taking the braids out is too much lol But after like 3 months i do take them out and redo them
Thank you for showing that it isn’t just genetics. Everyone’s hair grows, most people just don’t know how to retain length. I believe anyone can grow long hair if they are healthy and know how to take care of it.
So happy that you launched your product line. I will definitely be supporting you as a fellow Ghanaian. Also glad you are proving the naysayers wrong that African hair doesn’t grow.
Anna, you’re so right. The level of ignorance about hair shows the ingrained beliefs of negative stereotypes about black or African descent, and that needs to change. In the meantime…grow that beautiful hair! ❤🙏🏼💯
My hair doesn’t mind being manipulated, but it prefers and grows better when it is left alone. So, protective styling is so important to me and I would love an in-depth tutorial on how you did your protective style shown in the beginning of the video
I am sold. My hair is so dry and I absolutely know it's from not applying the correct products and taking the deserved time when it comes to a routine. I love the fact that you go into details. The very secret to long hair is maintenance but also FINGER COMBING and this is what people r not sharing, the less comb u put your hair through the more length u ll keep. Tried it for my kids who r real 4c and they have retain their length, of course most of us can't just do finger combing, u can comb but not all the time and use a wide teeth comb. Also if u keep your hair most of time stretched it is easy to do finger combing.
finger combing has never worked for me - I think it's fine if someone else is willing to do it, but it just makes doing my hair take HOURS vs. much faster with a comb. I had waist length hair (stretched) and, no - after a couple of small sections I was like - ain't nobody got time for this. Literally like trying to separate each hair strand trying to detangle it. I cut about 9-10 inches off my hair because the ends were thinner at the bottom than the top. My hair is still really long, but now I'm trying to figure out how to get it to grow to knee length - natural, not stretched - so now I am starting to watch all these natural hair videos again looking for tips and tricks. What I've learned the most is that - everybody is different and just because something works for one doesn't mean it works for all. I like using a wide toothed comb because it makes detangling my hair easier and less maddening. I wish I could just to the salon every couple of weeks and let someone else wash and massage it and condition it - until then, gotta put in the work myself. I might try finger detangling one more time. Also, I usually wash my hair in the sink, but I need to buy a hair washing outfit because I think washing hair in the shower might be less damaging - the hair stays in one direction and you're not flipping it back and forth like you would over a sink. Only problem is - getting totally wet every time - which is annoying. Anyway, I need to find out the right mix of products for my hair. Everything is so expensive that trial and error is really not an option right now. I hate that black hair care products are 2-3x more expensive than others.
When you are on a hair journey or a routine to bring better results, whether it’s hair growth or losing weight or anything that you want to improve. I have found out it’s not the specific products that someone else uses it’s the type of product that is needed. I was going thru a stressful time and I saw the affect in my hair. My hair texture was thinning, soft, no shine. At the nape of my neck it was coarse and it wouldn’t straighten out. I went to the extreme and became a beautician to learn about hair. Yes I know, I could’ve bought a couple of books and looked at you tube tutorials to figure it out but this is what I did. What I found out was a couple of things that I take to heart with my waist long hair. 1. Wash your hair twice and condition once like they do at the beauty shop. 2. Each shampoo and conditioner are either for protein, moisturizers, or clarifying shampoo; you need them all. You need to know how your hair feels, bc your hair tells you when you put too much product on it, to use clarifying shampoo. When your hair breaks off and it’s coarse, you need moisturizing shampoo. When your hair has no shine and it won’t behave you need protein. Before you know it your hair will start growing. It’s like taking care of plants. Give it food and water, water, water don’t skimp on the water and your hair will thrive, trust me on that. Don’t forget to trim your ends to keep your strands healthy. The women in my family have lost their hair at the crown of their head, and the hair is thin and whimpy. My mother and sister wear wigs and my aunt always wears a beret, (a hat). I don’t.😊 If you want to know why I haven’t taught them is bc my mother and aunt are much older and could care less and my sister is older than I and doesn’t want to listen to her younger sister. I go by, if you want better than do better and ask God for help before and after you do it and He comes thru for me every time.😊
First off let me start by saying your are extremely smart, beautiful, and natural at this. Im starting my new life journey over in every way. I have been natural for about 7 months. I am learning my hair texture and everything else. I’ve never had time to make love to my hair but I’m about to purchase all of your products you are amazing and so inspiring I love you.

hey im new to your channel and already loving the content so much! I also wanted to say that I adore you for not using a hair tool like a comb or detangle brush to detangle your hair! sometimes that can also cause extra breakage, Because I have lost way more hair using a detangle tool, but at the end of the day being gentle with your hair in general is the most important, Thanks for the video!!
I’m following you for a long time and I’m so happy, that you do so well! Your products and your page looks amazing, I will definitively buy them all soon 🫶 Many greetings from Germany!
Thanks Ma'am! I've been following your videos and trying some of your recommendations and they're very helpful. The way you're so gentle with your hair is great! I usually wash my hair by myself but I visited the salon few times when I was super tired and out of my shampoo. Jeez! They don't really have all the time and patience like we do. I resorted to doing it myself. 😂😂 It's been a great time on your channel. God bless you real good!
Thank you for mentioning this. Was planning to get my hair washed at the salon ones I take my braids out thinking they would take good care of it than I do
I started using just leave-in-conditioner conditioner on my hair and boom! I seen results in less than two weeks, from my jaw bone to my neck already!!! Please note, I'm managing a relaxed hair 😂 You just have to find a routine suitable for you my sisters 🥰 Then your good to go!

Thank you for sharing and teaching us how to take down the hair the right way. Keep it up. ❤
I've missed you, Kelcy.
I came here as fast as I could!
hey im new to your channel and already loving the content so much!
Bravo girl at least you are honest for the treatment and it's effects

The set up truly is important because the frustration is real

Thanks Ma'am!
I've been following your videos and trying some of your recommendations and they're very helpful.
The way you're so gentle with your hair is great! I usually wash my hair by myself but I visited the salon few times when I was super tired and out of my shampoo. Jeez! They don't really have all the time and patience like we do. I resorted to doing it myself. 😂😂
It's been a great time on your channel.
Please note, I'm managing a relaxed hair 😂
