We are remodeling a 1959 42 CC commander. Trying to decide on best way to get privacy in salon windows without using mini blinds. Have you ever replaced to glass widow with thicker glass that’s more energy efficient. ?
no, but i don't think thicker glass would save you much energy. you would be better off with a ceramic window tint film to reflect the sun. You need a vacuum between two panes to get any real insulation from glass and there is absolutely no room for that.
Helm controls - take them to a chrome shop to be rechromed. That’s the only way. I had the same issue on my Chris-Craft.
WHERE is part 2 the finished product.. I'm invested lol

Helm controls - consider having them nickel coated (Amazon: Bright Nickel Plating Solution). On the cheap - try Dupli-Color ECS101007 Chrome Instant Enamel Spray. Consider going to a "brushed" look. There's also Eastwood Extreme Chrome Bonded Polyester Powder Coating Reflective Gray 1 Pound - Amazon --- Best!!!
That's a 41 not a 410
