You’re not leaving anything behind, you’re now carrying beautiful memories and the friends you made in SR are in your heart and will welcome you with open arms whenever you return. Onwards and upwards, cheers to new adventures!
Going to a hustle and bustle PP City and it's not like a sleepy SR City. I grew up in PP City during the 60s and the city was so quiet and peaceful then before the war erupted in 1970. It seems just like yesterday. Only memory lives on. Have a great time there. Peace ✌️
Thank you, yes PP is crazy compared to SR, it’s a nice change from the sleepyness! That must have been a crazy & intense time for you, glad you got out ❤️
I had only spent a few days in Siem Reap last time I traveled. I landed back in Bangkok miserable, the Kingdom of Wonder had stolen my heart. Next year I'll be traveling again, looking forward to my return. Might even spend a whole month in SR by itself lol. It's an enchanting place with wonderful folks
You’re not alone in feeling this way. As someone older, I’ve also been moved to tears by the beauty of the world-majestic mountains, serene seas, flowing rivers, and endless beauty of the skie. These experiences are a gift, a testament to your intelligence and emotional depth. Your capacity for gratitude and empathy, especially when you feel the weight of leaving behind those who are poor and vulnerable, is something rare and precious. You should embrace these emotions, as they reflect a level of sensitivity and understanding that many people lack, often due to tough life experiences that dull their sense of connection and empathy. As the great poet Rumi once said, "Be drowned in gratitude and kindness, for they are the highest forms of intellectuality." To feel deeply is not a weakness, but a strength-a sign of a mind and heart attuned to the richness of life. Treasure this gift; it sets you apart in a world that often forgets the power of compassion and gratitude....
Cambodians are wonderful people who take time to learn English. I’m not sure the driver was crazy but please have more respect for the differences in culture and norms when you’re traveling 🙏🏽
Seam reap is a province of my heart and i love the most everytime i visit there i never ready to leave , i understand how u feel don't be sad i hope u are alright and thank for loving our country
