You're welcome, Storm! And yeah, it's scrambling is pretty easy, especially when you know the route. Snow and ice slows it all down a little bit though :P
I thought you had some removable spikes for your boots, why u no bring them?? No arrest tool and no crampons is not the correct approach. I know an experienced guy who died this year after slipping on snow on Scafell (a mountain he knew well), had also no crampons, no arrest tool.
Went up & over crib goch ridge sat 22nd July & did the horseshoe route ABSOLUTELY loved it , picked up loads of rubbish , can't understand why people throw away rubbish on such a beautiful part of the world , GREAT video Dave top bloke 👍
Thanks, Stephen :) Yeah, there are some selfish people out there, that's for sure. Good thing a few of us are out there to counter it a bit and clean their crap up for them.
Brave Dave absolutely Dave , trouble is you never see anybody doing it , I'd give them a right lecture if I did LOL , you're definitely earned the name brave , I couldn't do it in the dark or the ice 😁😁😁
Great video! I have never done any of this in Wales, a lot in Scotland though. Thanks to your videos I have seen the beauty there and will have to try and get up there one weekend soon to try! Keep the good stuff coming! Also, amazing how when you can't see the drop at night, it seems less precarious when you can suddenly see where you chose to camp! I have had the same in thick cloud/fog many times, happy when the view was obscured but shocked when I woke up to see my spot.
Haha, yeah. Every video I make has people saying "Freight trains! Do more freight trains!!" Sure thing, no problem, guys. As soon as you all give me a couple of grand to cover time, effort and expenses I'll get right on it ;)
Yeah, the landscape and distances aren't quite as impressive over here. The scrap yards and brambles lining the UK's train lines aren't exactly the Rockies.
I've just stumbled across your channel and watched a few of your videos. Awesome content 👍🏻 you've inspired me into tackling crib goch this coming Monday. I'll be using a go pro and my DJI phantom drone to film my adventure .......
I have a few trips like that myself planned soon ! Mt. Jefferson, Eagle Cap, and a jaunt in B.C. Much respect for ya picking up after the slobs ! We end up bringing back twice the rubbish we end up with too. Thanks allways for your inspirations !
Thanks, Badclams! You're lucky to be living in BC, that's for sure. I've not done any hiking there, just rolled through it on a freight train, and it looked awesome!
Actually I live in Oregon, almost as nice I suppose. Yeah, hard to do much here because Flatlanders and Vandals get everything posted or gated up. Thanks for taking the time to reply. Cheers !
Brave Dave shoot, you recommend I exhale then? I've done a bit of hopping myself. Jumped from Corvallis Oregon to Toledo Oregon, one tunnel and lots of amazing elk in pastures.
Haha, yes, exhale for now (and then inhale again). My trips have been 2005, 2013 and 2016, so who knows when the next one might be. Nice one for doing a bit of riding yourself! Can't beat watching the scenery drift by from a train :)
Thanks, Andy! I guess it was pretty dangerous up there, but because I know the ridge well I knew that the ice wasn't going to crumble away into nothing, at least :P
Thanks, Saty! Yeah, it wasn't planned but going up in the dark worked out pretty well (except you can hardly see anything on camera). I'll have to think of something new for the next time I'm up there :P
Thanks, RedCat! Funny thing is that 2 days ago I had about 7500 subs. I hope not everyone who subbed in the last couple of days expects me to make freight train videos every week :P
Cool Brave Dave. but Yikes! You were in an ice axe situation. I've turned around when I've encountered an icy snow slope, and I had some top quality MSR snowshoes (but I'm also old and crack instead of bounce) How can you self-arrest if you slip? Also of course poles can help, like on the scree in another video. Remember no poles: you're just a guy. With poles you are half-goat. (I'll always pull out the poles.) I want to make my own ice axe/poles out of just wooden dowels (maybe a carbon fiber sleeve, because I have some of that).. An ice axe as you know is a pretty robust bit of kit, they can be used for climbing ice falls and they work best in pairs. What you need here is 1-a self-arrest, 2-a bit more stability. and maybe 3. some kind of crampons. So wooden/fiberglass or carbon fiber hiking pole, with some kind of durable scoop/spike on top, but not something you'd take to Everest. There also needs to be better crampons between old people walking around on icy streets and Everest. Even better if they had a little 'float' to them (I hate post holing). (I'm not just yaking here, well, I am. I make some of my own gear.) I'm an American, I've been to Scotland...I've studied the maps, been all over... if you can show a map, and your route. I thought your train hopping videos where viewers have to occasionally pause were terrific. About cameras. I felt like a bit of a dope lugging around a huge Nikon, but I'm an old photographer so I kind of want to..... but seriously most of the time I'm just making snapshots and seriously why not just use my iPhone and save 8 pounds of gear? But low light. GoPro 5? Canon? I don't know anything about. I'd suggest going out at night with a friend who has a good DSLR, see what it does at night, and then find a practical lower cost and lighter option. My Nikon sees a lot more at night, at a normal shutter speed than I can see with my eyes. (And just ignore me if you've already got this covered.)
That was real good. Hats off scrambling in the dark. You must know the area well to do that or be real brave :), which I'm not. Having briefly considered the route myself starting pm for an overnighter a couple of weeks earlier I chickened out. Snowdon via watkin on the 5th of march in snow and on the 6th via Pyg after a fair bit of overnight fresh stuff knackered me enough. Also I'm far from fit enough to do this several days in a row. Maybe next time however.
He's back! Planning to watch this in its entirety once I have some wifi tomorrow morning. All I got to see was a "preview" just now lol. Good to see your mug on here again Dave!
Absolutely awesome views. Been hiking a lot since moving but have never had the experience of doing it in mountains like that. Really incredible views. Giving me the urge to go find similar areas! People leaving trash everywhere is sad though. I've found my fair share as well. What a video though!
props on cleaning up the rubbish. I rarely take a frying pan with me camping any more, guaranteed I'll find one in a used fire pit surrounded by empty beer cans
Good guy for picking up the garbage others toss about. Hope you get to the famous 100k subscribers sometime soon, so you actually start making money from your vids as well. Keep up the good work
I love u dude 😂 ur like a like a snowdon lilly flower or one of those rare snowdon things ur lucky to spot if ur there. Ur like the rare mysticsl friendly snowdon hobbiy or something
The lake to your left when you were walking on the ridge looks like a crater. Videos like this makes me realize how small we meat bags really are compared to the rock we call home.
When you showed the spot your bivvy was in the next morning.... NOPE! Haha! I guess the weight of your giant balls is what keeps you glued to the mountain. Great one!
Cheers, Tim! Yeah, in the dark I knew exactly where I was and what was a meter away from me which is why I was so cautious when walking through that snow. Good thing it was still soft at that point or I'd have been a bit screwed!
How much is it a night on Grib Goch? I suppose if you are not careful it would cost an arm and a leg, and limb and torso....Thanks so much for the video Brave Dave. You are really living up to the name in this video. I can understand why you do these 'what some would call crazy' adventures: to feel alive, to feel the vitality and beauty of raw nature, to feel truly in the moment...Great video.
Thanks, Ian! Yeah, I love being out on the mountains and I also love being places where most other people wouldn't go. I was a bit miffed when I saw how much snow there was up there though. I could have done with an ice axe to shovel it away but a good ol' stompin' did the trick instead, so that's okay :)
Mountains are deceptive. On video, a 1000 Ft. in the Rockies is about 40' here. This entire Massif is only a mile and a half from a paved road. Yet, a fall could be just as deadly.
Nice one. Great seeing the sun rise. That was a dodgy morning start... Good to meet some fans Unbelievable the shit they leave to spoil a beautiful Welsh Countryside...
After watching this....Is there anything in life you are scared of? :)Honestly, this ridge is scary in summer, let alone in winter, but in winter and night...?!:)
Haha. Yes, stuff scares me. But I like to think that the fear makes me more cautious and therefore keeps me alive. Check out my most recent video "My First Grade 3 Scramble". Parts of that climb definitely scared me :P Crib Goch doesn't scare me because I'm so familiar with it.
I thought the point of freight train hopping is that it's free? Though I guess the flights would be the expense. What about doing it in Europe? It would definitely be quite original, and the security would be less I think, as there's no concept of hobboing in most of Europe.
Stapler Isn't hitch hiking through Europe somewhat comparable? I recall hearing plenty of people say that they hitchhiked through Europe on small sums of money back in their early dsys.
There's always this feeling of adventure and suspense in me when you upload a video. Good on ya Dave! (P.S, are you taking a brake from freight hopping or are you done in general?)
Well I don't know how you'd define "taking a break". You do realise I've only freight hopped three times over the last 12 years, right? No immediate plans to do it again but I might. I don't really plan ahead very far, to be honest :P
Another quality video Dave. I'm living vicariously through and shitting myself at the same time lol. Regarding the litter issue. It is very disappointing. I'm guessing a lot of the people that do it are just careless and expect their to be cleaners or something that clean it up. Doesn't excuse it though.
Brave Dave Not literally I hope .... That said, if that was feasible I'm sure we could create our own very lucrative paranormal show off the back of it *no pun intended* haha
There are battery heated socks, and jackets and pants for that matter,.. I'd love to see you keep your feet heated... given the degree of cold they would not be hot, especially since you need your feet to get you safely back down again.
You know that weekend we chatted about a couple weeks back when the weather put us off... yeah, we were wrong. It turned out perfect and no rain. Anyway, I'm heading up for a wild camp next weekend. You around for a beer in Betws y Coed?
Really? Because I remember that weekend was wet and miserable (at least according to the weather reports). Ah well, mountain weather is always a gamble. No set plans for being back in Snowdonia in the very near future and away in the Peaks this weekend, but I hope you have a good one, Adam! :)
Hey Dave! Love your videos! Quick video idea for you, do a Questions and Answers video! Good way for you audience to get to know the content creator more!
That's a good idea, Zeeolite! I'll do that sometime. And I already know what the number 1 question is going to be. "When you ride freight trains for over 24 hours where do you shit?"
Well I'd like to do the National 3 Peaks again sometime this year. With a twist, of course (I've thought about doing it back to back with the Welsh 3000s; 48 hours, no sleep).
Brave Dave I think one at a time is enough. Coming down Snowdon I think I pulled both hamstrings and thighs. And going up halfway in shorts wasn't great (in October) . Nor the lack of water. All in all an enjoyable, albeit underprepared trip.
Ah yes, properly preparing is kind of key :P Still, it's all a learning experience! I still forget things on trips, even now. I mean on this one I didn't have as much warm clothing for sleeping as I'd have liked.
I dont live far from there. Made me feel so special when i was younger to live next to a huge mountain. Only to finally notice that im not that special and crib goch is tiny compared to other mountains in europe. Oh well..
Thanks, Luke! Well funnily enough, since someone posted my video on Reddit 2 days ago, I've had over 3000 new subscribers! Pretty crazy what Reddit exposure can do.
If you want to cover my costs for taking 2 months out of my life to film and edit another series of videos, whilst risking my life, then I'll certainly consider it. I reckon about $10,000 would cover it.
Im planning to go with some pals to wild camp in snowdon in feb 2018, but now kinda crapping my pants because ive never even camped in my life. Anyone know if feb is the coldest month? What should we expecting? I do know that i will need tent, and a lot more gear like insulating sheets, sleeping bags, crampons etc. But i never had experience up there or anywhere..
I don't think there is on mine. Just low light, bright light and red light. Plus flashing mode. It's not that bright anyway. Good enough for me to see what I'm doing but not good for a crappy video camera, like mine.
I want to do crib goch, recently did Tryfan which was pretty easy other than the fog causing us to get lost but common sense got us back on the route. My mates don't think we're ready for crib goch and it's really annoying, how much experience do you need to do it? P.s. I'm not bothered if I fall down
Crib Goch isn't that hard (as long as the weather is okay). You just need a head for heights and some basic scrambling skills. And if you fell down I assure you that you would be very, very bothered.
Brave Dave ah right, I usually hate heights but I just try to push myself further. Although I found out when it's sunny mountains look smaller than when there's clouds. Alright I'll try not to fall, I can scramble anyway done it plenty. Thanks and where are you actually from, Dave?
@@BraveDave A good point. I wanna go up crib coch, but too much for the Mrs, have done Snowdon via the miners track and back along the pyg track unaware of the ridge on the left as both times low cloud. I picked a day with all the army boys there, but they were sound as hell. Did lanberis path too but bit of a tourist path. Great views though. What's your favourite way?
@@oliyb Well, obviously Crib Goch is my favourite route ;) You should definitely do it! Hire me if you're up for a full day out doing all the best scrambles (including Crib Goch). No tourist paths!
Hah! Well if you're wild camping for a week then you're probably pretty experienced already (I hope), so my only advice would be to stay safe and have fun :)
I even found an empty bottle of Tequila up there! Still doesn't beat the complete disposable barbecue, including smouldering charcoal and greasy wrappers I found on the Watkin Path that time. Dirty bastards!!
Yeah for me that would of been scary you got some balls dave I watched that video and it caused me pain in my lower body and legs every time you got near that edge even though I watched your crib goch over and over the good thing was the stunning scenery and sunrise and the views I love but when ya have VERTIGO there's not much you can do really I love your videos and your one hell of a guy but not even 1 million pounds would get me up there haha
Wow, yeah I'm glad I don't suffer from vertigo! I do like to imagine what falling off would be like though. I get a slight twinge in my stomach when I do that.
You're entertaining whether your hop or climb or whatever, but it would be nice to see you hop again. Hopefully you can eventually make some $$ off AdSense, though that kind of took a crap nowadays.🙄
I'll never make any money off TH-cam. I'd need millions of views on a regular basis to make decent money. Sponsorship, Patreon, other ways like that... maybe!
Brave Dave haha! i didn't realise! Loving the videos by the way, you make everything more interesting compared to other dudes with no character... so yeah keep going! and maybe I'll see you there one day, planning to go next week sometime
Never get tired of watching this. Incredible.
Thank you for sharing Dave.
You're welcome, Martin! I've not actually slept up on Crib Goch since this video. I might have to do it again sometime :)
You make this kind of mountain climbing / hiking look easy. I'm out of breath just watching you! Great video and thanks for the adventure!
Looked like more rock than snow to me. No need for crampons or spikes
Wow man when I saw you on that edge in the morning it gave me shivers dude !! You definitely live up to your name brave Dave 👍🏻😁
Thanks, Hawkeye! Yeah, it definitely added a new element to sleeping up there, being on a sheet of ice like that :P
Went up & over crib goch ridge sat 22nd July & did the horseshoe route ABSOLUTELY loved it , picked up loads of rubbish , can't understand why people throw away rubbish on such a beautiful part of the world , GREAT video Dave top bloke 👍

You're seriously brave Dave , or just plain phsycotic wandering around on that icy snowy ridge without crampons 😄
I thought I was the only one picking after other peoples garbage
thanks dave
And thank you, Opsimathics! We are a minority, but we do good :)
It's easy to say other people need to pick up after themselves, but society isn't perfect. Sometimes we just have to pick up other people's slack lol
Great vid, Dave! Looks like people want more freighthopping, better pay up lol.
Haha, yeah. Every video I make has people saying "Freight trains! Do more freight trains!!" Sure thing, no problem, guys. As soon as you all give me a couple of grand to cover time, effort and expenses I'll get right on it ;)
As much fun as it would be in the UK, not as great shuffling through Coventry on the back of a train :)
Yeah, the landscape and distances aren't quite as impressive over here. The scrap yards and brambles lining the UK's train lines aren't exactly the Rockies.
Brave Dave ahhhhh shit! now were talking.
Another quality vid Dave, thank you, I've been up and around Snowdon 3 times now due to your vids, thanks for being my inspiration 😀💪🏼👍
Pete, that's awesome! Always happy to inspire people to get out and about :)
I've just stumbled across your channel and watched a few of your videos. Awesome content 👍🏻 you've inspired me into tackling crib goch this coming Monday. I'll be using a go pro and my DJI phantom drone to film my adventure .......

Dave lives life on the edge.
Enjoyed that. Nothing like a bit of snow and ice under your feet to sharpen the senses. Best wishes.
Thanks, Miner! Yeah, it definitely keeps you more alert, not knowing if your feet are going to slip out from under you at any moment :P
dave u are completely bonkers, but I love it! cant wait to venture out end of the month myself! keep up the good work!
Thanks, Jonny! And stay safe out there! :)
definitely a favorite now. Can't wait to see what you do and where you go next! By the way, it's gorgeous up there!
Thanks, Rob! I went to the Scottish Highlands over the weekend. Video coming soon :)
Amongst the most enthralling and spectacular people on TH-cam. Please Dave give us more freight hopping.
That depends on a lot of things, the biggest two being time and money. Don't hold your breath just yet...
Brave Dave shoot, you recommend I exhale then? I've done a bit of hopping myself. Jumped from Corvallis Oregon to Toledo Oregon, one tunnel and lots of amazing elk in pastures.

bloody hell brave Dave that looks dangerous! makes my fair weather hiking. in the Mourne Mountains look like child's play. More power to you!
Thanks, Andy! I guess it was pretty dangerous up there, but because I know the ridge well I knew that the ice wasn't going to crumble away into nothing, at least :P
Dude you are insane, I'm scared of Crib Goch in normal conditions!
your a legend dave! crib goch at night, videos just keep getting better!
Thanks, Saty! Yeah, it wasn't planned but going up in the dark worked out pretty well (except you can hardly see anything on camera). I'll have to think of something new for the next time I'm up there :P

"FRUIT" and "LOOP" spring to mind .... your mad as a bag of Ferrets !! Crib Coch is on my radar this year ..... cool vid by the way.
Me? Nah, I'm as cool as a cucumber ;)
dude get over to America and we will do a combination trains/mountaineering video. we got loads of peaks like that in Colorado and Montana
It's a real possibility, Stobe! Crazier things have happened :)
hobestobe brave stobes big fat drunk train hop part 1 coming in 4 years lol
Haha
Yeah!! Hobestobe!!! A combo video would be so awesome
aw man

@@BraveDave but you did lol

Damn right! We're just over-evolved apes dragging ourselves around a rock that's hurtling through infinity. Food for thought ;)
Brave Dave right! While we're checking our Facebooks and hopping on large metal rolling wagons
We only exist for an instant and then it's nothing forever. Better make the most of it!
much more exciting channel than Timid Timothy's
Haha. That genuinely made me laugh :)
Credit for picking that litter up Dave. +1 rep.
Thanks, BillionDog! It's always a joy to carry other people's crap for them :P
But seriously why the hell someone would just go up and just leave it there is beyond me...
Why would you go to somewhere like that, with those kind of views, and decide to drop trash everywhere?

Haha, you're shitting vicariously through me :P And yeah, wherever there are people there will be litter. Some people suck.
Brave Dave Not literally I hope .... That said, if that was feasible I'm sure we could create our own very lucrative paranormal show off the back of it *no pun intended* haha
Great vid as always Dave! Guts!!
Thanks, JD :)
Big up Brave Dave - Legend.
A big up right back at ya, Nick!
great vids come to mida wales do some caving with me you would love it
it looks dangerous to be filming while driving, you were on the wrong side of the road a good amount of the time
We like to live dangerously here in the UK ;)
There are battery heated socks, and jackets and pants for that matter,.. I'd love to see you keep your feet heated... given the degree of cold they would not be hot, especially since you need your feet to get you safely back down again.
Thanks, but I'll be okay, HappyQuails. I know what I'm doing. And the thought of wearing socks that are heated by batteries is hilarious.
Nice one Dave!
Thanks, Andy :)
Awesome man! Have fun!
that time when your torch runs out of battery
Many men seeks a comfy crevice in life but not sure they seek the one you're after tonight.
Haha. Yeah, and probably for the best as well. Mountain Rescue would be pretty busy if everyone wanted to sleep up there :P
Haha! You read my mind! Look forward to it!
keep up the good vids BRAVE DAVE !!
Thanks, Kamiel! I'll try :)
An ethical mountaineer! 14 people who disliked this video are probably those who left the litter:-D
you should do another 3 part freight hop video
It was 4 parts, not 3. You missed one.
oh
Did Snowdon last year and was great (albeit painful), any trips to either Ben Nevis or Scarfel Pike on the horizon?
Oh well..
Size is relative. Just because there are loads of bigger mountains it doesn't mean that the Snowdon Range is any less awesome.
YES Dave !!!
HELL yeah, Stu! :)
brave dave mate youre a saint. i go everywhere with a litter picker and bin liner. people are mingers
Good work, Eddie! Yes, some people really are a bit scummy.
You deserve so many more subscribers
Thanks, Luke! Well funnily enough, since someone posted my video on Reddit 2 days ago, I've had over 3000
new subscribers! Pretty crazy what Reddit exposure can do.
Yeah I found you through Reddit, so glad I was browsing r/videos!
Hey Dave why don't you make another freight hopping video it's you're most popular series and everyone loves them
If you want to cover my costs for taking 2 months out of my life to film and edit another series of videos, whilst risking my life, then I'll certainly consider it. I reckon about $10,000 would cover it.
Brave Dave I'm sorry to cause any offence I was just wondering if you gonna be making another series again mate
Brave Dave you are one of my favourite you tubers and I don't want to make you angry I just want to see some more great brave Dave videos
I'm not offended or angry, Jake. But I will still gladly accept $10,000, if you've got it lying around.
Brave Dave I wish !!!!!!!😂😂😂😂
that was badass!
You damn well bet it was! :)
Alessandro Damario one of the coldest. You'll probably need at least crampons and probably an ice axe
awesome Dave you are a crazy mother lol
:D
What would you do if the weather changed for the worse , you not well prepared
I'd gather my stuff together and walk down. Pretty simple really, Steve. Don't stress ;)
Remember there's a diffuser on your Tikka Plus...
I don't think there is on mine. Just low light, bright light and red light. Plus flashing mode. It's not that bright anyway. Good enough for me to see what I'm doing but not good for a crappy video camera, like mine.
I thought I'd seen a Petzl Tikka Plus, which has a diffuser you can slide in front of the LED. It's more useful for some more overview.
Climb mt Fuji Dave for sunset. That's a good un 👍🏼
One day I might! Not as easy to reach as Snowdon though :P
Watching these videos brings to mind the question:
"why"
To which you would probably answer:
"why not?"
Actually my answer would be "Because it's fun, exciting, good exercise and I like doing things that most others would not".
@@BraveDave that's an even better answer 😁
I'm from a far too far away place with no mountains. Kind of sucks in that sense :P
Top vid. Why do you film in 4:3 ?
Because widescreen cuts off the top and bottom so you see less.
You could do with some bloody crampons on that stuff.
Yeah, that would have been nice. Although they'd only be any use on the tiny part I slept on.
doing a week of wild camping over in Snowdonia starting Monday... any tips?
Hah! Well if you're wild camping for a week then you're probably pretty experienced already (I hope), so my only advice would be to stay safe and have fun :)
Someday I will be able to afford an adventure :P
Adventures don't have to cost a lot. Flying to Canada from the UK though, that did cost a lot.
Dave you mad! You do level 3 scramble by the way?
Nope, not done any level 3. That's basically rock climbing, but without ropes, isn't it?
yes
When are you doing tryfan again dave
I'll be doing the Welsh 3000s this summer sometime, Mark! So I'll be up Tryfan then (as part of a very, very long day) :)
dangerous on many levels
Cant unerstand how u go up there without crampons dude
I think you're due a new channel name.... How's about Insane Dave? Massive bollocks pal....
But "Insane Dave" doesn't rhyme!! And thanks, you'll be pleased to know that my balls are of a good and healthy size.
Wow you didn’t pack a tent. It could have been pissing it down.
Well, two things about that...
1: Good luck pitching a tent on Crib Goch
2: I checked the weather beforehand ;)
These people who want to climb Everest with no experience should have to do stuff like this first.
Lucky 🍀 you don't sleep walk.
Hah! Well walking would be difficult when wrapped up in a sleeping bag but yes, not a place to be if sleep walking is your thing :P
Why du it at night???????
For the reason I give thirteen seconds into the video ;)
Dave you one crazy dude mate....but yea you are one Saint !!!! people and rubbish ARHHHHHHH :(
I even found an empty bottle of Tequila up there! Still doesn't beat the complete disposable barbecue, including smouldering charcoal and greasy wrappers I found on the Watkin Path that time. Dirty bastards!!
Mate whats wrong with these people ???????
Complete selfishness and an overblown sense of entitlement. Nothing a couple of good slaps wouldn't fix, I reckon.
Hey dave where's me bit of the goch?
In a bag. Unfortunately that bag is in another city at the moment. But I'll get it for you sometime :P
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oh bummer but ok no rush dave when ever man no probs just watching the video now looks bloody scary in the dark
It wasn't scary in the dark, just... different. It's the ice which makes it a bit more dodgy.
Yeah for me that would of been scary you got some balls dave
I watched that video and it caused me pain in my lower body and legs every time you got near that edge even though I watched your crib goch over and over the good thing was the stunning scenery and sunrise and the views I love but when ya have VERTIGO there's not much you can do really
I love your videos and your one hell of a guy but not even 1 million pounds would get me up there haha
Wow, yeah I'm glad I don't suffer from vertigo! I do like to imagine what falling off would be like though. I get a slight twinge in my stomach when I do that.
You deserve a lot more subscribers
Russia likes you!
Were is your fear, Dave?
I left my fear in the car.
Hahaha
Incredible views.
Thank you for such a beautiful speech with subtitles.
It's nice to look at smart people who speak beautifully.
litter is a problem in the Mournes aslo. I. just don't understand the people who do that. it boils my piss when I see it..
Just put ads on your videos then you can buy a better night camera
why
You're entertaining whether your hop or climb or whatever, but it would be nice to see you hop again. Hopefully you can eventually make some $$ off AdSense, though that kind of took a crap nowadays.🙄
I'll never make any money off TH-cam. I'd need millions of views on a regular basis to make decent money. Sponsorship, Patreon, other ways like that... maybe!
You are mental Dave
Naaaaaah, nothing wrong with a little night time ice bivvy on the edge of a cliff :P
Rambo
when did you climb it? it surely still can't be icy right now?
The clue is at 0:26 ;)
Brave Dave haha! i didn't realise! Loving the videos by the way, you make everything more interesting compared to other dudes with no character... so yeah keep going! and maybe I'll see you there one day, planning to go next week sometime
I hope so! Always nice to bump into a fan or two :) I hope the weather holds out for you! Looks awesome up there at the moment.
