Wanted to say thank you guys, i bought the relay and works like a charm, no longer have hyperflash with the aftermaker led turning signals. super easy to install on my CBR 500r 2013,
This video was really helpful and I want to express my satisfaction with both products (the relay and the flushmount signals). Luckily I did not have to remove the air hose underneath the tank to replace the oem relay. As for the signal lights, I had to remove one side of the fairings, but this was only because the previous owner messed up the cables..
clearly you aren't interested in the subject matter of the video, and instead focusing on small technicalities that don't hold up in all geographical areas. We help people install parts. Period.
I actually like the idea of being able to use the hazards while not needing the key as then if i need to stop in the road and leave the bike, i.e in an accident or helping someone, i wont have to leave the key in rendering my bike easy to be stolen, also in the U.K if you leave your key in your vehicle and walk away you will be rendered uninsured and not covered by your insurance policy if it does get stolen so they will not help in any way.
Put LED flush mounts in with harness and running mate, and everything worked with hyper flash. After I put the TST relay in the light stopped flashing and are on solid. Please help.
Hey there, maybe a dumb question but if I change my front AND rear signals, do I need 2 relays ? I cannot find a clear yes or no. CBR500R 2018. thanks a lot for the advice and the clear videos
Nope...we never made a production fender eliminator for this bike. The fender is integrated into the subtray and requires cutting and other weird things. We decided not to make a kit that most people willnot want to bother with installing.
Hi, TST, I got a LED relay from you and am installed it on my 2017 CB500F. Now I'm having trouble re-connecting the aerator hose back to the bottom of the tank. The hose is short, and there's little space between the frame and tank to put my hand in to connect the hose back to the connector. Any tips?
Try to back up the aerator hose through its routing guides to give yourself a little more slack for connection. When replacing the tank make sure you don't kink it with the extra length. Then pull the same distance down on the hose once the tank is back in place.
Hi, I'm thinking of replacing the front and rear turn signal lights. Also, I'm replacing my oem mirrors with a pair of aftermarket ones that have led turn signal lights on. How many of flasher relay I need? Thank you.
The part itself does not affect warranty. If you disturb something or reinstall something incorrectly during your work on the bike then that can affect your warranty.
You really didn't get 2 when ordering your set? Is that an eBay thing? I left mine off and they blink 3x normal and I love it, that and the brake flash help me be seen. A lot of people want to eliminate everything and have flush lights, those can only be seen from a 90° angle, I want to stand out!
We have a video dedicated to the installation of our flasher relay on a 2016+ CBR500R. If you type in "2016 CBR500r flasher relay" into the youtube search field it is the first video that comes up. Anyhow, here is the link: th-cam.com/video/z6ZjuOROPoA/w-d-xo.html
I tried it today and it worked great...I also tried the trick with the flush mount blinkers and that will not work on the 16/17 model..Oh well, it was worth a try and I really enjoy your install videos!
The trick with pulling the OEM harness thru the fairings with a wire..See TST video on installing flush mount blinkers. I could not get it to work on the 2017, but I did manage to run the harness thru enough so you cant see it..
@@juanandrade7530 without a relay that's very odd, you may have HID's and not LED's! One uses a ballast and the other a relay, however many ballast will work with a relay, but all you have to do is invert the +/-
Why on Earth would anyone want one? I love my rapid 3 per second lights, I'm going to be seen! I left mine off intentionally, between that, the rapid brake light and the underglow, it definitely stands out. It's great if someone wants it to run normally, but that is what the relays that come with the bulbs are for.
According to my research, the 2019+ CBR650R uses a relay with a 3 position connector that can be replaced by our Gen2 LED Flasher Relay. This information is valid for US models because I only researched the parts in our market. Here is the relay that will work for you if you are in North America: tstindustries.com/tst-led-flasher-relay-gen2.html
With your product (13:04 in the video) - it makes the flashers and hazards light still work when the key is turned off .., that is the most stupid thing I have ever heard , so some kid etc touches your hazard/ flasher button in a parking lot .., and you later come back to the bike to find your battery is now flat .., brilliant engineering guys - not !
Well normally you have to turn your key on and drain your battery if you have to leave your hazards on to avoid getting hit if you get stranded on the side of the road without underglow, that reduces the power. Your argument is the same as having buttons underneath a car to open the doors, or a push button start that does not require a key which went in millions of cars and motorcycles.

Great to hear! Thank you for sharing your experience.
@@TSTindustries your welcome
Adjusting the speed on the flash is cool. Just installed my flush mount lights going to install the relay tomorrow. 👍🏽
Awesome. Can't wait to hear the full impression (and maybe even a review on our website if you care to share your experience there)

Would this be the same for the honda cb650f 2016

You will only need one relay for your entire bike. That should be mentioned on the product page.
Can you make a video on the fender eliminator on this bike?
Nope...we never made a production fender eliminator for this bike. The fender is integrated into the subtray and requires cutting and other weird things. We decided not to make a kit that most people willnot want to bother with installing.

Just one. One unit controls the flashing of the entire signaling system.
Has the tank to be clear for this?
It is vastly easier to do if your tank is low on fuel. Then you don't have to fumble with a tank that weighs a lot.
Do u have a video for Cbr 500 r 2024?
We have not had that bike in the shop yet

This adaptor makes the 2 pin relay work in the place of the 4 pin relay?
Yes, but we sell the adapter together with the relay.
What the name adapter for relay? And whre i want to buy it... thank you
where does this relay on CBR250RR??

Wouldn't this affect the warranty?
The part itself does not affect warranty. If you disturb something or reinstall something incorrectly during your work on the bike then that can affect your warranty.
Do you have the link for the purchase of the flasher relay?
Yes the link can be found in the description.
what kind of transmission is it automatic or manual?,uh,Bike parts are cool.
??? Bikes have manual transmissions.

We haven't confirmed that yet. Waiting for a 2017 model to come in to the shop.

Oh, installing the LED relay is very easy...Took me maybe 15 mins... Video shows just how to do it and it works on the 2017 CBR500r
Will this unit still allow the use of the hazard signal?
On the CBR500 and CB500 bikes the hazard light is still functional while using this signal relay
TSTindustries excellent! Thank you for the info, I've ordered a flasher.
what happens if i do not get the relay? can i do without it?
Your signals will flash very fast. You won't damage any electrical part, you will just have fast flashing signals.
I used the same wire and mine just fine they don't flash fast
