That is all opinion based sadly, I would love to tell you yes or no, for me, I prefer curved for everything, it just feels better, but some people don't like it. I recommend going to a store that sells PC's and monitors and check them out,... you might fall in love ;)
The pixel density is approximately 93.26 PPI, if you watched the video, I go a close up of it, and I am amazed at it, as I mentioned, this is my favorite monitor so far
Comparatively its actually not expensive, on it's own yeah, it isn't cheap but I give you a coupon to make it cheaper, hopefully that helps and so very happy you like it.

Are curved monitors better than flat for gaming?

Agreed, but at more than double the cost, most need to stay on the lower side and this monitor dominates on that side.
