Visiting the historical town of Genadendal (1) | Cape Town

Genadendal was built on the oldest and first mission station in South Africa, was formerly known as Baviaanskloof and was renamed Genadendal in 1806! It was also the place of the first teacher's training college in South Africa, established in 1838. Genadendal has a rich spiritual history, with the mission station founded by George Schmidt, a German missionary of the Moravian Church. Join me as we drive to this beautiful town.
