Hi. I have a couple of questions. Can you tell it to vacuum the floor then go back and mop it if you already set it up with water in the tank and the mop attached? Also, can you pick it up and take it upstairs and let it loose when the dock is left downstairs?
I have just realised that my answer was not very clear. If you set up the map with rooms/areas to mop and rooms/areas not to mop, the robot will stop mopping but the mop will still be installed and it may leave the carpet slightly wet when vacuuming. The water will not be released but the wet mop will still be installed. It won't be damp though. No big issue unless the mop is dirty enough to leave a dirty carpet, of course.

It doesn't lift the mop. This needs to be removed.
It does not lift the mop. But the carpet won't be damp as there is just a small amount of water being released during the mopping.

When it detects the map, does it stop mopping and switching to vacuum only?

It does not lift the mop. You need to remove it manually.
