"Freddy came to my house with the musical idea for this song. We started there and came up with the structure and the vocal melodies together and recorded the demo there. I then spent quite some time figuring out lyrics. To me the sound of the riff in the chorus sounded electric somehow and I thought of words like “lighting”, “thunder” etc… And then thought of the concept of how lighting never strikes twice but in this case does, using this as a metaphor for love. Also in French (which I’m fluent in) you can say that “love at first sight” is like getting hit by a bolt of lighting." - Nic Maeder

This phenomenal amazing band Gotthard is definitely somewhat new to me as I hate to admit, but I had never heard of them before I saw the name here on TH-cam about 2-3 months ago, but if I had known them before then, I'd have to say yes to missing Steve, and I hope I'm not speaking out of turn, but the original vocalist and front man from Gotthard whom I heard that he was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident in Las Vegas many years ago!!! But, this band is still very damn good badass rock music, and the fella doing the lead vocals now is still a very damn good singer and song writer, along with the rest of the members of Gotthard!!! Believe me for those of you who don't know, and love damn good rock music, check these guys out ASAP, and both versions of the band with the original vocalist, and the newer guy as well!!! And I can't really call him new much anymore, because he's been around long enough to be the guy now!!! Steve qu'à sa mort aprés l'accident qui lui à couter la vie au états unis et que Nick sois devenue
