I could not agree more. Doesn’t matter where you’re from. I’m in the US & from the era of this band. This band was never given the recognition they deserved. Steve was an icon & beyond in my opinion.

I agree. In my opinion there were 3 greatest rock vocalists of all time. All were under appreciated & taken too soon. Ray Gillen of Badlands. Jani Lane of Warrant & Steve Lee of Gotthard. The last of my top 4 is Paul Laine of Danger Danger.

And I love them.
First song I listened to was, One Life, One Soul.
How the hell did I miss them, when I was a young rockin’ chick of the 80’s/90’s!?!
I really don’t know how I did, but I am sure glad, I ‘ran into’ them now.

Steve was one of the greatest if not THE most talented rock vocalists of all times, the feeling he put in the songs is incomparable, he made every song shine ! Way too early the world has lost not only an amazing musician but also a great human being !

To me, no one, absolutely no one, will ever come even close to his talent as a vocalist. Such a controlled voice, such a range, even so live. Will always be kicking myself that I came down with the flu when I had the chance to see them live.
I couldn't agree more. Nic is good. Steve was great. And I feel that huge gap each time Nic sings. With each new song, I can hear Steve singing it. For example, can you imagine how much better Remember It's Me would be!?!?
Nic sometimes sounds like Steve. For the first time, when I didn't know much about Gotthard I thought it's the same voice! :D But now I can see difference. Nic has a problem with old Gotthard songs and sometimes they tune guitars half steps down(he can't event sing his own Tell Me in tuning they used in studio lol) but I respect him, he is good :)
