Dieses Lied wurde anlässlich der Abdankung für meine verstorbene Frau Denise, in der Kirche gespielt. Mehrere Auftritte von Gotthard durften wir gemeinsam miterleben. Steve teilte unser Hobby. Nun habe ich den von Denise mit viel Erfolg geführten Motorrad-Club übernommen - und bin froh darüber, dass ich es gemacht habe, denn sie hätte sicher nicht gewollt, dass unser aller geliebtes Töff-fahren jäh beendet worden wäre. Zusammen haben wir vor Jahren auch das Grab von Steve im Tessin besucht. R.I.P. Denise und Steve.........

Rockland-Radio früher gegeben, wäre ich eher Up-To-Date gewesen. SWF 3 mit Elmar war ja noch Mainstream mit Würze. SWR 3 kann ich mittlerweile kaum noch ertragen. Da ist ja SWR 1 fast progressiv dagegen. Habe erstaunlicherweise einige Gotthard- Fans auch erst später als solche "kennengelernt".

I travelled a long way across the uk to see gotthard in concert despite both myself and my wife feeling unwell at the time. It wasn’t that long after that he passed away , it was the most worthwhile journey we ever made he was incredible live.
i was lucky, i had to travel only about 15 minutes. :) and it was raining, which was great, everyone was hiding under a roof behind, there was plenty of room right in front of the band. great! will always remember...

Honestly, I do not understand why this is the song with most listens of all Gotthards songs on Spotify. I get that this song follows the same kind of pattern as did a lot of other famous ballads in the late 80s and 90s, like "I don't want to miss a thing", "love bites", "Is this love", and so on. Could this alone make a song the most played song? Or could the incident play a part, may you rest peace Steve Lee. Still, this song is written about 10 years before that. Sure, this song is good, but in my opinion they have done better songs through out their career.
I used to listen to Gotthard with a very good friend of mine... now she is my wife. When she was pregned from our first kid, we went to a Gotthard concert in Spain.
