That was fun to watch. The beers looked delicious too. Especially this time of year. Cheers!🍺🍻
Thanks I was confused with the results although it doesn’t take much to confuse me 😁 cheers 👍🍻
@@BrewabitRick LOL! 😆🤣 🍺🍻
This is why I use plastic screw cap bottles 😊 I use max 1.5 drops per 500ml bottle. Nice experiment, glad you didn’t have to clean up a mess lol. Cheers 👍🙂🍻
Lol I usually use crew cap bottles but I aged the beer so dusted off the swing top glass for a special occasion. Thanks for watching and commenting cheers 🍻👍
Interesting Rick, I am always nervous when bottle conditioning and always wince when I flip the top, cheers Rick 🍻
I only usually bottle 6 as the rest gets kegged but yes I’m the same 👍🍻
Nice one Rick. You'd think the manufacturers would make some the right size for a 500ml bottle, but instead they keep us guessing. Cheers!
I agree but it does put the fun into it , carbonation roulette cheers 👍🍻
Nice one Rick, sounds like its aged really nicely and survived the heat wave too 👍
It’s lasted well I’m impressed cheers 👍🍻
I drop enough I reckon. I've never used carbonation drops. Ooooh ya like a proper scientist Rick, cheers🍺👍😃
I’ve already been on eBay and purchased a white lab coat 🤣😂 cheers 👍🍻
@@BrewabitRick well u would wouldn't ya🤣🍺
I'm hoping for something similar got bottles at the back of garage with different additives in them. Rick you've spurred me on to try em Cheers mate
It depends on what style of beer I’m brewing, lagers, ciders and pale ales, I carb using 2 drops, whilst I stick with one drop for stouts and bitters/English pale ales.
I might do a similar experiment to this next time I brew the same beer more than once.
Good video as always mate, cheers 🍻
Cheers 👍🍻
Two drops of what?? Is still can’t find out what the hell carbonation is ?? Sugar??
Fantastic video as usual 👍👍👍👏
Cheers 👍🏼🍻
Kozel glasses! :) Nice one bro!
Cheers 👍🍻
Cheers Rik. Wife and I did same experiment and there wasn’t that much difference except one bottle tasted sweeter than the other bottle.
I suppose some styles you would add two carbonation drops like lagers and one in bitters.
I find some dark beers just over carbonate after time like some stouts whereas others stay stable.
Cheers my mate👍👍👍
Don’t know if you noticed but it absolutely baffled me ? cheers 👍🍻
I'm not sure, I tend to go two drops on my lower bag brews and one on higher abv, but the brews looked okay to me.. Nice video
Cheers I was a tad confused but I’m easily confused to be fair. 👍🏼🍻
Strang!
Agree 👍🍻
Was there any taste difference? I know it wasn't a tasting video but it's a result I'd like to know.
No difference at all. I was worried there may be some sweetness left behind from the 2 drop bottle if it hadn’t finished secondary fermentation but no exactly the same. Hope this helps thanks for watching and commenting cheers 👍🏼🍻
Dirty Glasses, cloudy ale.....
I think the true answer is how many drops are you using going forward?
I love to see a truly baffled guy...
2 I think ? or maybe 1 ? Might try 3 ? It doesn’t take much to baffle me not sure if you’ve noticed 😂cheers 👍🍻
@@BrewabitRick 😆😆😆😆
Small round drop? 1 drop is..3 gram pr 500 cl?@@BrewabitRick
