My wife and I are impressed with your editing skills and music choices. Well done. As much as we’re enjoying each and every episode, we look forward to seeing you safely arrive at your final destination… home. That will be the icing on the cake. Well done, you two!
That breakfast just made me hungry! Thanks to Sputnik1.growing up in school every Wednesday at noon the Air Raid siren would go off and all us kids would do the get under our desk drill.. Hopefully those days are over! I can't fit under a desk anymore😊 Thanks for the Great history
I'm old enough to remember looking up at the night sky with my family, to watch Sputnik fly by. It must of been in low orbit because it was moving right along. Cheers !!
I totally agree with Lavi, I hate riding in the rain. Ollie, you got me on that look, look, look. I was looking so hard and you said look there’s nothing. LOL you got me 👍
Yuri was not the first living thing in space you missed out the dog , I remember it so well as I was At school The USSR successfully launches Sputnik 1, the first Earth-orbiting satellite in history. 3 November 1957: The USSR successfully launches Sputnik 2, carrying a dog named Laika into space. They become the first nation to successfully send a living organism into orbit.
Not only where they send the space capsules up but where they land them as well. Nothing to hit but the ground. Interesting. Come back to USA, we send them up from Florida everyday or two. Starlink satellites. Man that is bad riding wind rain etc, no cover. And cold pretty high latitude there. Good vid
You guys looked so rested after your day off at the beginning of the video. What a massive country it is. Miles and miles of beauty and camels!! Awesome travel. It’s exciting to see the world through your video. Awesome so beautiful . I thought there would be more snow up the mountains. 😊
That looked a real nightmare on that highway with the rain and all those trucks trying to blow you off the road! I'm sure you were glad to get that room, at least the weather started nice😉
Hola L&O, Another awesome episode. That was a whole long stretch of desert, then riding in the rain. Not fun, it made me cold just watching you two. 🌧 I'm glad you made it happy and alive. I'm enjoying tagging along on your adventures, but I imagine that you were excited to be getting closer to home. How many miles did you have left to ride at this point? Safe and happy travels and see you in the next one. Lots of love. ❤❤❤
How cool getting to see Russia's famous space station! I'd never really thought about where it was located but it makes sense that it is out there in the middle of the Kazakhstan wilderness. 😂 Bummer about the rain. I know that feeling well. 😅
5:28 In my channel season 1 ep 2 at time 20.00 we was in the desert near of the Baikonour and actually saw the space shuttle lounch. Chack that out please. I don’t attache the link, because it is not allowed though. Cheers, and thank’s your videos alot. By the way, Russian was still services taxi flights for US astronauts 😅
Awwww, what's the point of 1500 K in one day? You don't get to see much, your body aches even more and you don't have the lovely little experiences along the way. You two are doing JUST fine!!!
I'm not sure who won the space race. The Russians ended up doing a lot of shuttling in the end. The launch pad uses an interesting rail system. I'll have to look it up. The difference in landing on water versus a field is quite funny.
Great time with you Thanks ! Sods law , nothing either side of you , it starts raining and high wind and every truck on the road comes the opposite way. !!! Thanks. 😂😂😂. Wish You Both Well 😊😊😊😎😎
💚 Riding on a long desert road. You were not allowed to enter the missile launching area and ended the journey in the rain - a boring ride 😏 (the most important thing is happy and alive) 😎
I disbelieved the Russian motorcyclist but, turns out,1500km is 930 odd miles. IF he rode 24hrs that's only actually 40mph average. I wouldn't want to do it but @on2feet did the 1000mile iron butt challenge a while back.... th-cam.com/video/_WcCIaB0bAw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=zc-ZDXCE87HeQUQ0 Cerrrrazy Half way through this video, loving it as always, thanks. Still amazes me you can do so much riding and still get out these videos at this constant quality so frequently. Best channel ever.
Riding in the rain does suck. Other bikers and automobiles can do over 1000km a day. But you don't stop, except for fuel, at which time you eat, and be the fastest vehicles on the road. Also, start riding 'early' and stop late.
Rough ride there in the wet! And another long one! At least you have each other which must help with the monotomy😉. P.s Know its not vege but you need all the calories for big rides.
Love the open spaces! BTW, people cover greater miles because they ride much faster. Everytime I see your speedometer, it is between 39-47 mph. Is there a reason to ride so slow?
Yes when we’re filming we have to ride a little bit slower than we would normally (60-70mph) because we had so many audio issues in the past and the wind noise are to loud 😊
It reminds me of the vast Australian nullabor-ing-ing... But as you trek in that open vastness, you see Earth turning. Unless you're riding east. Don't ride east....
Cool place to visit even if you couldn't get all the way inside. Is that where they have been going to the space station from? Nothing much to see but the goal is getting safe home.
I don´t think you will see much from a Launch at that Road. The closest active Launchpad is roughly 35km from the E38 away and around 25km from the historic Launchpads. By the way you wouldn´t see much at the Crater either exept of some geological Anomalies isn´t much there. And exept of some Highways and good old German Autobahn Nobody will drive 1500k´s in one day you simple will never reach the Average Speed you need . Even if we take an 12h period of Driving you need Average 125 kp/H at any given time without an break what is impossible because the Roads aren´t empty and the average Speed even illegal in a lot of Countrys around the Globe. And with Bumbelbee even more impossible Motorbikes have often other lower Speedlimits than Cars or are even prohibitet on the shortest Route. With an Car and 200+ yes possible but only in Germany legaly with an Motorcycle, Luggage and Pillion no f way so 500k´s are an very good Range on a Day.
Well done guys, miles on long straight roads can get very tiring. You have never mentioned what the speed limits are on these roads ? If that Russian biker can do 1500 km in a day... he must be ignoring any speed limits ! What speeds do you try to maintain ?

It was worth the little detour, just unfortunate you couldn't get in for a tour, looked like a good day other than the rain.
Love the soundtrack at 07:25, very 80s 😀
2 guys from Australia, traveling with motorbikes had full breakfast in India, for a dollar each. Two breakfast for two people costed 2 dollars.
That’s awesome 👏👏👏
Definitely its still worth to go to the site of such a historical event in human history .. glad u took the detour ... Keep rocking !!!

Yes, thank you😍

Awesome Vid. Love the history lessons you provide as well. 👍👍🇨🇦
Glad you enjoyed it🥳
