      @@endaohalloran6649 I'm not talking about ethnicity here, I'm talking about cultural and religion practices. You can keep repeating that rape is bad all day around, but when people had the notion of women being someone inferior, someone who doesn't have rights and should be always following a man drilled into their head since they were a child by those they value the most, they are not going to drop those beliefs very easily. And that brings me back to my point, why should we invite and spend our time, effort and resources trying to assimilate people of completely opposite convictions who are likely not to drop them, instead of just, inviting those that are already similar in our beliefs?

      I do have some questions for you. Do you consider a person who lived their whole life in Sweden, but not ethnically Swedish, Swedish? What if their parents also lived their entire life in Sweden? If you consider them Swedish, do they lose the right to be called Swedish, if they commit crimes? If they do lose that right, does that also expand to ethnic Swedish people who also commit the same crimes or is that only reserved for non-ethnic Swedish people?

The problem is when a lot of poor people are in the same areas it just creates problems especially when gangs are there, they just join them. In France most problems occur in what we call « Cités » (Social housing) and anywhere else is pretty much safe. And one thing I notice myself is a lot of people from immigrant descendants doesn’t get to high income jobs, I’m a software engineer and in my university there were literally no non White French immigrant descendants people, all the black and Arabs were first generation immigrants meanwhile when I was working as a good deliver in pizzerias, many non white people were there. Dane here. 1) In Denmark the confltcs centers around two gangs and a swedish gang-network related to the Turkish gangster "Ismail Abdo" also called "Jordbærret" or "Strawberry" in English. The two gangs in Denmark are the Comanches which stole a load of weed from the swedish gang-network. The Comanches paid a lot of money to stay out of it. However the illegal Danish gang LTF "Loyal to Familia" did the same and has not tried to back down. 2) Most Danes would not understand the point of reducing of the wellfare state as a reason for complicated immigration. Danes would point at hard sentences as youths will keep them away from the street. In Sweden it is 4 years, in Denmark 8 years. Furthermore, we have made ghetto-lists which target specific areas of living to reduce mix of criminals, people with not-Danish background and unemployed people will not mix. Lastly we give double sentences for gang-related offences to people over the age of 18. The numbers say that there is around 1800 gang members in Denmark while there is 60.000 gang members in Sweden with the population being 6mio and 10 mio respectivaly. Also blamming the lack of welfare state in Sweden seems weird when the welfare states in Denmark and Sweden are very similar. I believe TLDR focussed on the Swedish Socialdemocrats political spin of crime rather than see what the numbers tell and the discussion we have had in Denmark.

In my town in rural Ireland we have a street that is now a no go area for women due to a massive asylum centre being put there, the police recommend women not to go near the street due to the massive rise in harassment and attempts of SA. We have no issue with immigrants here, we have a problem with unrestricted illegal immigration, no deportation policy, and immigrants claiming asylum despite having no claim.

    • @Kevc00
      @Kevc00 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +47

      @@scoobydoobers23 we have basically unrestricted immigration from third world countries. It's gotten so bad in Ireland that you don't even need a passport, so people without valid asylum claims are destroying their passports on the plane then claiming asylum when they land, since they have no documentation the government can't prove or disprove their claim so they get all the benefits of asylum even though they don't need it. Currently more than 80% of our "asylum seekers" are from Algeria, Jordan, Somalia, and Nigeria, despite the fact that they don't meet the criteria to be refugees. In Ireland there is a riot every second week over the issue, these people aren't refugees, they are just illegal immigrants.

    • @bestrafung2754
      @bestrafung2754 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      Illegal immigration is restricted by definition, it's just not tackled very well in many countries sadly, such as here in the UK where it's become a bigger issue that I actually predicted back in the mid 2010s. What's wrong is the current rate of legal immigration isn't sustainable and we don't have all the proper background checks here either. Immigration itself can be very good and I dislike how the issue has been hijacked by actual racist people who do just genuinely hate foreigners, but there definitely is a major issue that I think even some on the left are slowly realising now. We introduced a points based immigration system that looked great on paper but hasn't been implemented properly, there are barely any proper background checks, actual criminals don't get deported (criminals as a whole barely get any punishment anyway though), and the refugee issue is so messed up that it's harming refugees themselves a lot too. We need a better system that doesn't pander to either extreme of unrestricted immigration or just no immigration at all.

      True. But even so, had the immigration level been more strict, and had they came in batches, dispersed to prevent them from forming parallel communities, they might've been assimilated. But Swedish leftists allowed them to come in the hundreds of thousands, without an infrastructure to integrate them, left them to do whatever they want and now we see the result. They formed their own parallel societies, and they pretty much implemented their way of life from the countries they originated. This is what socialism does.

    I was also an immigrant in Sweden, I am Ukrainian. Now I am in Norway and I absolutely do not regret that I moved. I don't want to offend anyone, just to convey a point of view from the migrant's side. Sweden has a poor integration system. The payments were meager, I understand that this is to stimulate people to go to work, but for work you need to know the language, and the language courses are at a low level, there are special courses that are not bad, but Ukrainians have not been allowed to attend them for more than a year. Me and my mother more or less learned the language in a year and wanted to go to work, but we just couldn't find a job. As one employer explained to me, due to the fact that we do not have a personal number, it is difficult to hire us and it has no benefits. Because we do not know the language well, it is better to hire a local, and the company does not receive a "tax reduction" as in the case of refugees from the Middle East. I heard that about half a year ago they tripled payments for Ukrainian refugees and gave this personal number (but only for those who have already lived in Sweden for a year or two, I don't remember). I am grateful to Sweden for the shelter and I am not trying to complain or anything like that, the fact is that I have seen that the system itself does not understand how to work with refugees, which is why most of the problems arise, because of which this beautiful country suffers. I hope that Sweden will be able to cope with this crisis. If anyone is interested, this year I went to college to become an electrician and things are going well. Good luck and peace to everyone

      It’s not just the social democrats, the centrist-right “moderaderna” with Fredrik Reinfeldt held the power during the worst immigration policies during 2013-2015, don’t you remember Reinfeldt’s speeches, “open your hearts”. I’m not far right but I have to admit that they were the only ones that were correct on immigration policy during that time but got labelled by everyone else as racists. With the right being correct on that and also on military spending for so long it’s difficult not to vote for them though.

      It was the last moderate gov that caused it, vi måste öppna våra hjärtan, former pm Rheinfeldt.

      I am also Muslim, the problem here is culture and decrease in religious behaviour. R*pe in Islam especially in Islamic jurisprudence doesent exist rather instead of rape one would be charged for physical assault, incitement of violence and trauma and zina which would get him the death penalty while western goverments have very light sentences on rape which is usually one sentence. Also because islamically actions are with intentions the person who is raped is not guilty of anything and should expect compensation.
      The problem is with toxic masculinity no actually, in Islam smoking, chasing women and more is haram and not masculine as a women has her dignity intact and if violated then her family members could avenge her by killing the perpetrator and that is allowed in Islam as rape is a disgusting act enacted by weak selfish or mentally ill men or even by incels.

    The quality of this video isnt up to your standards. First off, crime statistics are done at the per 100,000 rate not per million, but I am guessing saying that Sweden has a gun murder rate .5 (less than 1/10 of the US) doesnt make a for an interesting chart. You also go on to say that there have been 148 shootings so far this year, which would imply a yearly rate 253ish rate, which is a 30% reduction from 2023. I dont know in what world a 30% reduction doesnt count as much. Even if you argue that it is only off by a "few" people in absolute terms then this just shows that the occurrence of gun crime is so small that you cant preform statistical analysis making the whole point in the video moot.
    Secondly, showing historical data on self reported sexual offenses needs to come with a warning that past data cant be trusted because of very real difference actual occurrences and reported occurrences as well as the willingness for one to come forward changing over time.

      @foobar6846 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      Thank you, I was looking for this comment.
      I don't think people fully understand how much more things are considered a sexual crime in most of Scandinavia compared to the rest of the world, and how much more common it has become to report things here. Sweden is probably at the forefront here. And the constant reporting on how somehow Sweden is now unsafe, when outside of a very few special places that does have a very real problem. You're probably safer in Sweden than most of the world. I remember when they talked about no-go zones in Oslo in international media which were so far from the truth that it was laughable. I lived in one of these areas. If you were to believe the media it was areas that the police didn't even dare to enter.
      Are there problems? Yes. Are they blown out of proportions compared to the rest of the world? Most definitively yes. Is it still concerning on a local level, considering the sudden rise? Yes, but with an asterix that not everything is reported the same across the world, so comparing things is hard.
